I'm surprised the hebrews did so well against the Roman army.

these weren't just barbaric hordes this was the Roman Empire. Trained, fit, armored soldiers against some hebrews. the fact that the Romans had to resort to building a wall around them to defeat them was really admirable on the hebrews part. I'm almost skeptical of God or some sort of supernatural help.

There were records of the siege of Jerusalem and its said that so many people were being killed by the Romans the city streets were covered in blood and even put out some fires due to all the blood. The roman unleashed hell upon them. It had to be a horrible sight to see.
