I LOVED this game! You're best to grab an item after you've passed it coming up from below though to overcome the gravity... You were grabbing them from the bottom :) - Hope part two is already done, just going to check your page for it!

I like it do far I owned the game as a kid but the 2nd level I could not beat I didn't know u could buy a map that would have made the game so much easier instead of just wandering around aimlessly and getting lost

Yea thats it, Lost Vikings, (the first one right?) I remember on the introductions of the Vikings. Super Nintendo rocks, but also does some and I say some Nes games. I had Solar Jetman on my nes long ago (system). Pretty funnt and hard too, but thats why this game is very fun. Now gravity is your enemy.

Awesome awesome game for its time. I played it so much and also completed it eventually!

To make the bonus levels easier, destroy your pod after you've pulled your ship part into the portal. Then you can zoom around with the jetman and have 2-3 left on the count down when you get all the gems.

It's a definite love/hate relationship with this game. I love the big open worlds and collecting stuff, but the gravity and vicious enemies are just ball-bustingly hard.

This was by far my FAVORITE NES game..

Some Tips: for the diamond room. It's best to destroy your pod then enter in the space suit after delivering the goldship part. This makes it very easy to collect all the diamonds unless you have the boosters from level 2.

tip 2. Heavy objects can be easily lifted by using the momentum of your ship. however you must detach, activate shields, and make continual passes , building up speed behind the object to push it forward.

This game is incredibly boring all the planets begin to look the same with just dif. color pallets after level 3 and there are just too many levels. Gets way too tedious and monotonous.

I used to play this when I was just starting out on video games (probably around 1994-1995 when I started) and I recently got a craving to play it. So I dug up my NES and the rest is history.
