man. my heart broke when these two performed in the show. I love how both their voices are so... not perfect. Steffi D's voice has such a slightly gritty, young boyish sound to it, and Blake's kind of typical "emo boy band" voice just does wonders for this song. and when he cried on stage -- OH! I think that it is unfair to compare John Gallagher Jr. and Blake Bashoff to one another because the way they both perform is completely different from one another...they have different types of voices and they interpret the character differently and you can tell when ylu see the two of them live on stage. I think that both do a fantastic job as mortiz. Plus steffi d and blake sound fantastic together here
