To much showing off. This song is slower then what you guys are dancing at. Also the guys needs to stop being so cocky yes I did say. Damn the dancing rhythmic is so off.
@warewolf9002 i agree...timing way off...great athleticism n dynamics but u gotta feel the music 1st, immerse yourself n move from there...i would rather see a couple with less talent but actually flow n move with the music...this couple here still looks pretty green, need some time to ripen up n fully develop n not be so mechanical
(ran out of space) whats is up with that? Is it just throw in as many patterns and ariels as possible without any regard for the music? All of my dances are done in coordination with music but none of these country swing dancers seem to care about that which is fine I am just curious as I swing dance several nights a week but it is always with the music. It may not be for me but my teachers always taught with the music. different strokes I guess but we always out dance em anyway. :-)
@DanceRuidoso As a swing dancer, I agree. Dancing like this maintains the idea that white people have no rhythm. Personally, it's just a desire for content over form. When people start out dancing, they'd rather learn moves than steps. They don't understand that the steps are the actual dancing part.
Great dancers no doubt. I want to ask a question though. I am a dancer for years and dance several nights a week. I have a latin/country/social dance/ballroom background. I dance swing, cumbia, nightclub two step, east coast swing, two step you name mostly. I watched a few videos of this country swing/two step swing and there seems to be a total disregard for the music....not single one dances with the beat of the music. whats is up with that? Is it just throw in as many patterns and ariels...
