After seeing our Mitropolitan Cyprian in his bed laying there looking at me with his eyes knowing I have seen a Saint, being baptized by him and the former Mitropolitan of Romania it brought me to tears to see Mitropolitan Cyprian as he is now. God bless him!!!

Can someone tell me please. Is the observance of the old calender considered heresy or just schism by the Official Greek Eastern Church? I noticed also old Greek flags; have they not adopted the cross and stripes Greek flag also?
Oameni buni daca in Biblia Ortodoxa in Romani 1 cu 23 scrie: Si au schimbat Slava Lui Dumnezeu Celui
catholics are a pope made religion, the pope has taken the word of christ and changed it to suite his own greedy needs, you catholics are blinded by your atichrist pope.
Catholic meant world-wide,as in catholic tastes, not pertaining to the Roman church. There'd be no need to refer to itself as the original church (as Orthodox),since it was.
Also, the Creed is not catholic. It is Orthodox, but you catholics use it. that's why it is called the Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed. It was written by Orthodox Holy Fathers, not by catholics.
That's ridiculous. You don't know Church history. The Fathers at that time were Catholic and in communion with the apostolic see of Rome. The creed even says "one holy Catholic and apostolic Church." It doesn't even mention the word "Orthodox."
The Fathers were Catholic (a Greek word, btw), indeed, but not Roman Catholic. Roman Catholicism was born in the 11th century of a set of events that culminated in the Gregorian Reforms, which took the former Church of Rome away from the other Churches and into its own destructive direction. The Orthodox are the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church the Creed talks of, and ever since the 11th c., the former Church of Rome has done everything in its power to try destroy her.

Well said!! You might wish to read a book called "The Papacy" by Abbe Rene Guette, a French RC priest-monk who studied the early Church in the West and as a result converted to the Orthodox Church. Also, the Creed used by the Roman Church is not the Nicene Creed but the Creed of Toledo with the heretical addition. So the Orthodox and the Romans do NOT share the same Creed or the same Faith at all. It was in the 11th C. that the Roman Faith was forced upon the Orthodox English Church as well.
just for your info, we at times, say the creed without the filioque as you. you cling to these stupid things of the past. for yr info, the western church did change the creed but to combat a specific heresy - in doing so in your view it became heretic itself! these are just trifles, we catholic at times do say the creed without the filioque, it is a matter of no importance to us
very wrong, even at the time of pope pius ix he sent his messengers inviting the patriarch of constantinople to rome and he did not even recive him. in the sities though patriarch athenagoras and pope paul vi did meet and removed reciprocal excommunications
@janitorcoeliopn which Athenagoras has NO PAPAL ability to rescind
the excommunications for it was the CHURCH not the patriarchs that made the
excommunications valid in the first place. This NEO-PAPAL INFECTION in the Orthodox Church that says that the Patriarch of Istanbul is our "pope" is neo-papal foolish bullcrap. If he had the ability that most protestant converts think he does I would not be a member of the Orthodox Church because the Orthodox Church would not be Orthodox anymore.
You can find the term "orthodox" everywhere in the writings of the Fathers. Orthodox means the "Right-Faith". So St. John of Damascus called his book: Exact explanation of the orthodox faith...
The catholic church is not the apostolic church - you only have to look at all the innovations !
WOW HOLD THAT HORSE COWBOY ! I think you do not know what Catholic means in the Creed? It does not mean A type of Church (Catholic is a Greek word Cathilicos) which means a whole including all and apostolic church. The Catholics have broken away from the creed under your ruler Charlemange at the time on which he imposed the filloque. So your creed is not the original is take a different road. Read the history before you attack me.
I am a roman catholic but I don't know if I can participate in an orthodox mass.. I don't know why do eastern churches called themselves orthodox? I recognize them as catholics even they don't recognize the Pope as a major leader but yes they recognize the Pope as another bishop more no? thank you for your answers.. well we share the same catholic creed
Ok. Let me justify some things about the Orthodox Church. Even before the schism the church was called Byzantine Orthodox because it was the original church. Second off, we are not catholics, and the pope is no longer recognized as a patriarch. He and the catholic church are anathematized. You have been excommunicated from the Orthodox Church. Only when the pope repents and destroys papal authority will the two churches re-unite.
...and bless Mitropoliton Cypryan for all the Good things he has brought to humanity and that God may give him the strength one more time that we may hear his words of wisdom.
...to the poor the suffering, ethiopia is just one of the many places in witch they help and they incurrage school, school is the future and servival of humanity other than the teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ...the point ins to now bicker over this, all our prayers should be focused on Mitropoliton Cypryan and that God may be Great in His Glory
Many times have the Bishops from Etna been in my home have dined at my table and allways have been one of the most GIVING not only in spiritual nature but in worldly gifts aswell
