Excellent Chris, you've just confirmed I was nearly getting my lighting right and just need to use flags to allow lights to come further away from background and subject closer :-)

I was starting to thik today about the barn doors what most people cal them and I was thinking about how i could do it cheaply and you gave me a good idea..just get a piece of foam poster board or w/e and just have it on the side of my halogen light ..thnx man
