  • I'm a regular weed smoker, I know that weed drops our magnesium levels every time we smoke, I started taking magnesium pills and other vitamins, and I can already feel a change. I feel more motivated, uplifted, I don't feel groggy, it's easier to wake up, and so on. I don't know if it will help anyone else, but give it a shot. I still smoke everyday and after the first day of taking the pills, I started feeling better. I know it doesn't solve all the problems, but it works for me.

  • I quit smokin' bud nigga

  • I know a man who has been a pot smoker,a moderate smoker, for 30 yrs. What I have noticed most in him is a slow increase in ADHD.

  • @UnderstandingMedia, in my patients who use marijuana to treat Anxiety and ADD, I find the support they feel is short lived and requires ongoing use, which creates a dependancy on the substance. Yes, part of the primary action of cannabis is to decrease anxiety and increase focus, the next day, as you move into experiencing the secondary action of the substance, unless you take more, your focus and anxiety will have a rebound effect, and be worse. Try meditation, breath work, EMDR, or Qi Gong.

  • great video, my anxiety has been really getting in the way with some of the most basic and simple situations I find myself in.

  • Bravo Dr. Smith! Thank you for your courage. If you're serious about your spiritual growth and the high function and health of your brain, heed these words. I have observed the negative effects of cannabis use in my clinic: the seduction of many benefits ascribed prove themselves to be illusions later. Don't be fooled. And let's be clear Med Hooch Clinics: tremendous profits to be made. There is no profit in cannabis use. Watch this again.

  • I'm glad I watched this video on Dr. Smith's perspective about Marijuana. Though I know there are many people who use marijuana for a variety of reasons, I value this holistic perspective, considering all sides of the drug.

  • You do have a point in your video but in small amounts of marijuana it grows and stimulates brain cells I use to be a pot smoker it was so relaxing and relieving. And I turned out just fine making 100000 a year I don't agree with all that you have said but you do have a point

  • It cures cancers you dolt.

  • Great video! Good info, fascinating topic.

    Thanks, Dr. Smith!

  • Interesting info. Thanks for sharing

  • I am in support of Dr. Smith's comments regarding the usage of marijuana and the effects described. Although it is from a natural source, much of the marijuana today is grown with chemical fertilizers/insectides. Even if the user was to smoke organically grown, the combustion of any substance creates a massive infusion of free radicals into the body. We must be particularly concerned about the growing use in teens and long term effects. Dr. Andrew Iverson, triliumhealth

  • This was really clear and profound ....I totally get it! It has been my experience as well. I saw Dr. Irwin Fine at the Bodhi Tree on Tuesday evening and he saw marajuana remnants in someone's body YEARS after they quit...we really need to wake up and become more mindful of everything that we put into our bodies. Great job!

  • "I agree with the long term effects of indifference, procrastination, poor memory, diminished focus, spaciness and indolence that arise from chronic cannabis smoking.

In addition, I have seen that cannabis has a place in the treatment of certain conditions, e.g., glaucoma, chronic pain syndromes, anorexia, cachexia and cancers, etc."

  • Firstly, YOUr presentation is so outstanding and easy to follow and receive. Secondly, I learned so much here and really appreciate the information and message. Awesome video! Important video! Informative video. Fully promoting the fullness of life! Professional and clear; yet casual and inviting. Thank you!

  • This is a well presented argument that may very well cause young people to think a second time before beginning, or continuing, to smoke marijuana.

Thank you, Dr. Smith, for your tempered and well-informed approach that has the ring of truth instead of the propaganda we are used to receiving on this subject.
