Peggy suffered many near-fatal health emergencies during her long-life. She always managed to recover and mount yet one more happy concert "comeback." How fortunate we are to have these great recordings to forever remember.

Recently I heard someone sing this song on the Jay Leno show, but I was not in the room with the TV so I did not find out who was singing, and then the show was over. I really do not hear this song very often.

very lovely ! also one of my very favorite Christmas songs; it's gives me a toasty feeling....I like Peggy too; I saw her perform the night before her open heart surgery in the 80's singing The Wind Beneath My Wings before it was popular by Bette Midler ( my friend sent her a get well card and she responded...how nice! never forgot it! thumbs up !
I like Pegggy Lee very much, and sometimes i change her with Brenda Lee yet, but Peggy is a really great one... i love performances( duets) of her with Sinatra...
