Nick didn't write "Too Shy" by Kajagoogoo. Nick Rhodes was the producer along with Colin Thurston (Duran's producer at the time). I do agree it would be super cool to hear Duran do a cover or Limahl (Kajagoogoo's singer) guest vocal on a new Duran tune.

@jennanntaylor I agree with you re: RCM. It was Timba/Timber - NOT DD. I hate that Andy T. is no longer with them. Missed being front row a few times and seeing the entire band together again. Any-hoo - I hope that DD goes back to their "sound" and NOT try to be "relevant". DD has Fans who will buy their CDs. Good music is good music and younger people will enjoy it. DD - don't sell out your style! (and get Andy T. back - dang it!)

People may comment that duran duran should go back to their original sound but I believe that artist evolve constantly and I have enjoyed duran duran's evoloution over the years. I must say, I could listen to Nick talk all day and never tire of it. I can sympathize with all of you in this waiting game for a new album. I agree @frostquake, there was something to be said for not having all the access we have now. Being Blissfully ignorant had its perks, you might say. As I said earlier, I and fellow fans of Lifehouse just went through this and it was the first time I waited for an album in the info age. Not fun. But now that I have heard it, totally worth the wait. lol

Your keyboard parts have been too simple for a pro like you. Think how complicated and intracate your Rio parts were and make the difficultly level closer to that. Simple chords are melodies can be done by anyone but DDs moving basslines and your keyboard playing of the 80s is what drove DD to popularity.
