@KageyoshiSQD1 actually dude, nero might not be virgil's son, his arm might be due to him absorbing virgil's spirit. Because remember that virgil was abosorbed my mundus and was used to power lots of the demons (such as Nelo De Angelo) however, maybe Nero somehow accquired a part of virgil's soul, causing him to achieve a bit of virgil's demon blood and the arm. perhaps thats why yamato was drawn to nero.
yamato broke from the order of the sword using it draining it like a battery they took it from vergil in the demon world who was still weak and wounded from being free of mundus and the only person who could repair the blade was nero being a blood relation to vergil and making the sword his birth right from father to son
In devil may cry 3, when dante and vergil had there epic last battle, dante dealt the last hit and broke yamatos blade, in this video, we see Nero repairing it with his demonic power/Devil trigger

Nero sais something about echoing voice. It could be Vergil speaking to him as 'Power, Give me more power' sounds more Vergilish. So it could be Vergil controlling Nero when in Devil Trigger, and at 4:58 Nero looks nearly like Vergil from this camera angle.
Personally, I think Vergil gave him the power because he has Spardas blood (Somehow) and Vergil didnt want Nero to use his powers for bad. So he gave him power to help protect Kyrie. Vergil became corrupt because he couldn't protect his mother (He thought his human side was weak, so he embraced his demon side)Remember what Vergil said to Dante "Foolishness Dante, Foolishness.Might controls everything, and without strength YOU CANNOT PROTECT ANYTHING" Neros lesson was to embrace his human side
Call me crazy but i'm now 100% convinced that somehow Nero found Vergil's arm. His DT is Nelo Angelo and his arm looks like his too. Vergil still screams for power even in death.
I think more like a "reincarnation" but Nero its not young enough to be born with Vergil soul, so it could have more sense that Vergil "spirit" finds affinity with Nero, and helps him.
But thats only my opinion, i think Capcom never explained this to us XD

Vergil said Give me more power! for one reason only, and that was because he failed protecting his and dante's mom. same as it goes for Nero wanting to protect Kyrie.. You're lying or are mistaken.Capcom hasn't commented on that issue, and a person on the localization team even made the claim that Nero is Vergil's son.

And then in the cutsc.scene we could hear Kirye saying something like "Nero, you haven t been recovered yet". Then the second fact: when Nero was fighting the marionettes at the first time, he looked at his Devil bringer and told something like: "Wow! this baby sure can pack a punch". S he had no idea some time ago. ANd also - it s silly to thik that he had his hand bandaged like this all his life
I believe nero is a full on demonbut somehow taking the form of a human. His origin is still unknown and its strange how his arm stays perminant. He must have some simularity as to how Sparda uses a human form as a disguise. Nero probably has no memory of what or who he is when ne was a child.

I like Nero. What I like most about Nero, other than is protectiveness toward Kyrie, would be his arm. It looks SO DANG COOL, I can hardly stand it!!! Especially the spirit that appeared behind him. But FYI, I've only played DMC4, which through other videos and comments, seems to me to be the best.
And Vergils failure to protect his mother was one of the big reasons for his corruption through power, and the complete taking over of his demon side with no love in him. Devils never cry, you would never see Vergil crying. But since Dante has embraced his human side he has love for another person,and this made him much more powerful than Vergil. Nero learned power isn't everything just like Dante, his human side is just as important.With help from Vergil in some way
Thats not true. The REAL reason why Vergil went power hungry is because when him and Dante were just kids, demons killed their mother.... thats why he possesed Nero, the feeling of PROTECTION over someone.. thats why it says.. “Anything to protect her.”
@nhoj084eva Actually it could be both Nero and Virgil speaking, as the only reason Virgil wanted power is because he failed to protect his mother. So i think that "Anything to protect her" is refering to Nero talking about Kyrie and to Virgil talking about Eva... but that is just my oppinion :)

@youcummonster it could be. maybe vergil's essence was within yamato and reacted with nero's arm which resulted in its resurrection. maybe vergil's spirit posesses nero and that is what happens in his devil trigger. the more I think about it the more it makes sense that it could vergil inside nero but it still doesnt explain nero's connection to sparda in the first place. hopefully more gets shed on the subject in the next game
@youcummonster And I imagine that a lot of power resides in Yamato from Nero's use of it before he became Nelo Agelo. That's my guess as to how your thoughts could make sense in the long run. My friend Kurt and I had thought perhaps some power of Nero's could reside in Yamato. And the fact too Nero is a son of Sparda. Even if it isn't fully explored.
@BryonYoungblood Yes that was the exact thing me and my friend came up with, Nero must be at least a decendant of Sparda if he is not a son of Sparda. I think the possibility of him being Vergil's son is correct, since he "responds" (lets use that word) with Yamato in such a way. So since the sword was Virgil's it makes sence that Nero can use it the way he does, it would also explain how virgil's voice and demonic form apears in Nero...
@youcummonster In my opinion, he would have to be a descendant of Sparda, mainly because he needs Yamato to use DT, whereas Dante and Vergil could use DT without any aid.
This is why Nero has Vergils power in him. Vergil thought his human side was weak and was the reason he could not protect his mother. So he embraced his demon side and hungered for power much more than Dante. He says to Dante in DM3
"Might controls everything, and without strength you CANNOT PROTECT ANYTHING, let alone yourself"
My conclusion is that Vergil helped nero because he wanted to protect Kyrie just like Vergil wanted to protect his mother

ero was supposedly dying after Agnus stabbed him in the chest at the end of mission 5. In the game, what we got is an unexplained flashback of Nero screaming Kyrie’s name. In the novel, he thought about a dream which he apparently saw a lot of lately. In the dream, there was a man he had never met staring at him. Nero described his glare as ‘cold’, but at the same time he could feel a touch of ‘gentleness’ or ‘kindness’ (the word in Japanese has two possible meanings)

I think Nero is Vergils son. I mean...just because Vergil is cold does not mean he can´t have children. And just because we don´t know the mother does not mean there is no woman. Also Sanctus said, he has Spardas blood. If Vergil just posseses him he would not have the same blood. But there are also some thinks like...is Vergil old enough to have a son? Who is the mother? @000666000 I believe he is Vergil's son. DMC3 put Dante & Vergil at around 18-19. In DMC4 Dante is 34-35 or so. And by the looks of him, Nero is around 16-17. That would mean right before he got trapped in hell, Vergil went to Fortuna, banged some chick, and she got pregnant with Nero. Need more proof? Look at a picture of Dante and Nero together. Ah, and the age. A lot people say, that Dante is in DMC4 27 years old . I dont´know why, but no one ever said, how old Dante (and Vergil) are. So, I think he must be older than 27. Personally I think he is around 34-35. And Nero is 17. So Vergil was very young when Nero was born, but it is possible. And maybe it was just a accident that he impregnant a woman. No one said, he loved the woman and that he wanted a child.
i didn't like nero's devil trigger as much, maybe if there was an actual transformation and not just nelo angelo hovering above him it would have been cooler. awesome game though

@UnleashedVT888 One of the more common rumors is it broke at some point during a fight between Vigil and Dante. It's part of what conflicts since DMC4 strays from the story DMC3 had built up.
Vigil's true fate a mystery, Nero's soon to follow it looks like with the new game coming out. But... well... I'd rather them finish the damned story before remaking it or doing a sub-version of it or whatever they plan to do. @-@

@DarkAngel5533 when dante defeated vergil he fell back off the cliff and told dante to leave him and when u kill over 100 demons with lady in the credits u see vergil fighting mundus and he loses and mundus controls him making him nelo angelo and taking the yamato from him in which sometime later after dante beats him and frees him from mundus vergil is in hell wounded and weak and the order of the sword takes yamato from vergil and leaves him there

Nero sais something about echoing voice. It could be Vergil speaking to him as 'Power, Give me more power' sounds more Vergilish. So it could be Vergil controlling Nero when in Devil Trigger, and at 4:58 Nero looks nearly like Vergil from this camera angle.

Personally, I think Vergil gave him the power because he has Spardas blood (Somehow) and Vergil didnt want Nero to use his powers for bad. So he gave him power to help protect Kyrie. Vergil became corrupt because he couldn't protect his mother (He thought his human side was weak, so he embraced his demon side)Remember what Vergil said to Dante "Foolishness Dante, Foolishness.Might controls everything, and without strength YOU CANNOT PROTECT ANYTHING" Neros lesson was to embrace his human side

I think more like a "reincarnation" but Nero its not young enough to be born with Vergil soul, so it could have more sense that Vergil "spirit" finds affinity with Nero, and helps him.

Vergil said Give me more power! for one reason only, and that was because he failed protecting his and dante's mom. same as it goes for Nero wanting to protect Kyrie.. They both embraced their demon side with the same cause. Nero is definitely related somehow to Sparda, Dante and specially Vergil

Hey people, this doesn't make any sense. Nero awakens his demon.. but how? you can see that the arm is reacting to his feelings and so on the yamato.
I'd say that Vergil's soul is in the devil arm, that's what trigger nero's demon as he later says ; that there was a voice echoing : Give me more power! from the day his arm "Changed" :S

And then in the cutsc.scene we could hear Kirye saying something like "Nero, you haven t been recovered yet". Then the second fact: when Nero was fighting the marionettes at the first time, he looked at his Devil bringer and told something like: "Wow! this baby sure can pack a punch". S he had no idea some time ago. ANd also - it s silly to thik that he had his hand bandaged like this all his life

I believe nero is a full on demonbut somehow taking the form of a human. His origin is still unknown and its strange how his arm stays perminant. He must have some simularity as to how Sparda uses a human form as a disguise. Nero probably has no memory of what or who he is when ne was a child.

I like Nero. What I like most about Nero, other than is protectiveness toward Kyrie, would be his arm. It looks SO DANG COOL, I can hardly stand it!!! Especially the spirit that appeared behind him. But FYI, I've only played DMC4, which through other videos and comments, seems to me to be the best.

And Vergils failure to protect his mother was one of the big reasons for his corruption through power, and the complete taking over of his demon side with no love in him. Devils never cry, you would never see Vergil crying. But since Dante has embraced his human side he has love for another person,and this made him much more powerful than Vergil. Nero learned power isn't everything just like Dante, his human side is just as important.With help from Vergil in some way

Vergil wanted power so he surpass sparta his father and dante and in the end lost himself with his obsession to be better than them
Nero only wants to protect Kyrie and was willing to sacrifice his humanity to do so.

@nhoj084eva Actually it could be both Nero and Virgil speaking, as the only reason Virgil wanted power is because he failed to protect his mother. So i think that "Anything to protect her" is refering to Nero talking about Kyrie and to Virgil talking about Eva... but that is just my oppinion :)

@youcummonster it could be. maybe vergil's essence was within yamato and reacted with nero's arm which resulted in its resurrection. maybe vergil's spirit posesses nero and that is what happens in his devil trigger. the more I think about it the more it makes sense that it could vergil inside nero but it still doesnt explain nero's connection to sparda in the first place. hopefully more gets shed on the subject in the next game

@youcummonster And I imagine that a lot of power resides in Yamato from Nero's use of it before he became Nelo Agelo. That's my guess as to how your thoughts could make sense in the long run. My friend Kurt and I had thought perhaps some power of Nero's could reside in Yamato. And the fact too Nero is a son of Sparda. Even if it isn't fully explored.

I think the possibility of him being Vergil's son is correct, since he "responds" (lets use that word) with Yamato in such a way. So since the sword was Virgil's it makes sence that Nero can use it the way he does, it would also explain how virgil's voice and demonic form apears in Nero...

This is why Nero has Vergils power in him. Vergil thought his human side was weak and was the reason he could not protect his mother. So he embraced his demon side and hungered for power much more than Dante. He says to Dante in DM3
"Might controls everything, and without strength you CANNOT PROTECT ANYTHING, let alone yourself"
My conclusion is that Vergil helped nero because he wanted to protect Kyrie just like Vergil wanted to protect his mother

ero was supposedly dying after Agnus stabbed him in the chest at the end of mission 5. In the game, what we got is an unexplained flashback of Nero screaming Kyrie’s name. In the novel, he thought about a dream which he apparently saw a lot of lately. In the dream, there was a man he had never met staring at him. Nero described his glare as ‘cold’, but at the same time he could feel a touch of ‘gentleness’ or ‘kindness’ (the word in Japanese has two possible meanings)

I dont think Nero knows that his power come right from Vergil,maybe Dante does. I think Nero is Vergils son. I mean...just because Vergil is cold does not mean he can´t have children. And just because we don´t know the mother does not mean there is no woman. Also Sanctus said, he has Spardas blood. If Vergil just posseses him he would not have the same blood. But there are also some thinks like...is Vergil old enough to have a son? Who is the mother? @000666000 I believe he is Vergil's son. DMC3 put Dante & Vergil at around 18-19. In DMC4 Dante is 34-35 or so. And by the looks of him, Nero is around 16-17. That would mean right before he got trapped in hell, Vergil went to Fortuna, banged some chick, and she got pregnant with Nero. Need more proof? Look at a picture of Dante and Nero together. They look pretty similar don't they? And I don't have enough shit to finish my point so if you want, I can pm my theory to you.

Maybe Vergil went to Fortuna with Nero, because of the order. Maybe, he tought, that they could protect Nero. Ah, and the age. A lot people say, that Dante is in DMC4 27 years old . I dont´know why, but no one ever said, how old Dante (and Vergil) are. So, I think he must be older than 27. Personally I think he is around 34-35. And Nero is 17. So Vergil was very young when Nero was born, but it is possible. And maybe it was just a accident that he impregnant a woman. No one said, he loved the woman and that he wanted a child.
