You know what Cameron, you really seem like a sweet kid. A couple things bother me about your video, this coming from an older guy, I hope you don't take offense but I really think you'd be more effective if you cut the profanity. If you grab any rich foreign teenager who goes to a private school, they'll most likely sound proper and use big words. If you grab any american teenager who goes to a public school in Texas, they'll probably cuss you out. It's not to fit it, it's just the environment.

i feel your pain about hickville, tx, usa. i lived in a small town in cedar hill (just south of dallas). not horrible, but...not great.

and i feel your pain about the iPod touch situation. I'd lost my journal, with all my personal letters in it, and the next monday, they were all copied and posted around the school, with my name all over them.

my parent's sent me to a shrink (to deal with stress, not homo-ness), and i eventually came out to everyone and only a few douches made problems.

When I came out at school, it helped me that I had two other friends in my circle that were gay/bi, and went to a pretty liberal private school.

you have one of the toughest stories i've heard with your family - it honestly couldn't have been much worse because if they had thrown you out of the house they would have been arrested for neglect, even in texas

i'm sure college will be better, if for no other reason than you won't have to have your parents everyday. plus, people are more reasonable (and more mature than idiots in high school) - i hope it's like that for colleges in texas too

It really takes a lot of courage and guts to come out at school, most especially high school. I wish i had your confidence at that age. I'm glad the final out come was fairly positive, because it could have been much worse. I wish you all the best in school and I hope you only have positive experiences there.
