  • Did the same and worked for me!!

  • towel no go on fire?

  • 2 people have put their xboxes in the microwave.

  • wuld dis fix any redligth cuss i got 2 nd fan dont turn spin please help.!!!!

  • omg -.- fuck xbox fcking noobs come on ps3 ill own u noobs stupid drunk idiots

  • I did mine for 9 minutes at 500 degrees farenheit, I insulated the outer edges (resistors, transistors etc.) with a towel and left the center exposed minus the heat syncs. reapplied thermal paste. did the penny trick, and voila. it worked

  • ok i do this and it work perfectly!! thank you man, i used an electrical black tape and one big towel, everything else was the same!!!

really thank you for the help

  • @jvalls10 This fix will not last, even if you install a diesel fan inside of it. The key is to get a piece of metal that clamps both the cpu and gpu together, instead of bolts, nuts or the x-clamps. That way there is the same amount of pressure all around.

    Glad it helped out.

  • @xCustomFlipx Actually, I reckon a diesel engine powered fan could dissipate the heat quickly enough to prevent it from flexing in the first place, but I do see your point. =P

  • @xCustomFlipx

    of forget it !

you need a better cooling system and that includes keeping it open !

  • Pmsl £40 to fix it at a shop or spend £100 in tinfoil

  • Sorry guys for ignoring the comments, I was doing some things and now am able to respond to any and all comments.

    POST AWAY

  • i have those exact same shoes ur wearing lol

  • I've done this to 3 Xbox's so far but all with 0102 error and has fixed them all. Also apply some Artic Silver 5 thermal paste & advanced hybrid fix and they shouldnt rrod again!

Also masking tapes works really well as it doesnt burn or leave sticky residue.

  • no not the dr. evil shirt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 4:54 it looks lik a aluminam toliet seat

  • did this back in feb and haven't had a single problem since! you can also use wash rags and small towels instead of cutting up shirts, just have to be creative about it!

  • @xCustomFlipx thanks very much. After trying the xclamp fix, my xbox still had E74 error. Last ditch effort I followed your video and baked it in the oven. Running smoot as now :) Cheers

  • can you use electric tape instead of aluminum tape?

  • @terroboy its probably best you don't because it will melt in the heat. I did use it but stuck it under the foil so i didn't expose it directly. It still semi-melted but didn't cause any smoke.

  • I did it with a buggered XFX 8800 GTX Graphics card and it sorted it - Reflow soldering baby

Hope you stuck in a couple of cakes for the after party!

  • @BoOoMSt1cK haha my did the same thing and is one happy motherfucker

  • @matheus330 why the fuck cant you spell americans

  • @denverbronco27 indeed i fail

  • cantstopgamer your an ass, this method does work, iv`e done it myself. Don`t comment on things you know nothing about. As a tip, I used automotive heatwrap to protect the caps and plastic parts as well as the foil tape. The heatwrap can withstand radiant heat of up to 1000deg, worked great for me.

    Great videos.

  • it works if its physical damage.lol its like a ghetto way of Reballing. i ran in to a few that had cold solder problems. usually the processor done bad.

  • drug package

  • This is the most retarded thing I've ever heard of.

  • Dude I have same problem as you... Its a Falcon Board RRoD (With Case) and E74 (without case) after X-clamp = Withcase/w/o = RROD 0022 and I'm gonna try this, thanks for the High detail

  • And don't forget the chips and egg with the motherboard, what are these people on? its a scream, leave it to the professionals, what next take a picture of motherboard with camera flash on and the flash reworks the chip while it lights, ROL

  • you don't need to insulate the Mobo, I have fixed quite a few xbox mobo's E74 and 3RROD, by just just removing heat sinks, preheating oven to 385 Deg, placing the mobo into an aluminum pan making sure the bottom doesn't touch bottom of pan, placing it in oven for like 6 - 8 min.

Letting it cool for 10 - 15 and re assemble... the mother board parts can take the heat of the oven for 6 - 9 min no prob... don't worry these things flow over molten solder at their birth...

  • I'll be a son of a fat whore named Jewbacca, it worked!

  • looks like u`ve only cooked 360`s in that oven!

  • can i have one of your xbox 360s

  • damn you have a nice ass oven!

  • why do you sound stoned?
