yep this was the first commercial that used snowboarding when it all started to take off in the mid '80's. .The next one i remember was with Damian Sanders for McDonalds or Burger King

Have not seen this commercial in ages. It is snowboarders like the Legendary, Craig Kelly, a well-respected & great pioneer/godfather of snowboarding, who put snowboarding on the map, the ski slopes, in the backcountry & the Olympics...and made it possible for snowboarders today to earn the millions of dollars they do from sponsors...it all started back in the '80's with Craig. You were awesome Craig & may the Snowboarding World never forget you...Craig's Mom

@vampov nobody knew what was possible back then...it took some really talented people to set the modern standards that every kid today takes for granted...
As one of those people who started back then, there is no way its the same experience today as it was then... It took way more skill and determination to ride back country when no one would allow boarding...and the boards were more primitive...
