I own this costume and it is very good, however it is not 100% screen accurate and I have had to start modifying certain parts. It really depends on if you want to troop in it or just have it on show etc. I have just ordered a screen accurate stormtrooper costume for £900 and it is worth every penny :) the rubies stormtrooper is not 100% accurate either so you might be better paying slightly more. Yeah man, I agree. I'm 6 foot 4. With boots 6 foot 5. I think I'd make a real imposing Darth Vader. Love to have this costume.

Rubies should really consider making the Vader mask and helmet, a lot more adjustable for different sizes because if it's a easy fit-for-all type of thing, then they should think about making a better one that can snug under the chest plate. That way it look less sloppy and more ominous and empowering.

Ive got this, It stands 6ft 3" on a mannequin in my room, I also have Darth Maul on the other sinde staring straight at him! He is truely the center piece to my collection!

I am looking at doing the same thing when i buy my darth vader suit. Does the costume fit snug onto the mannequin? I just want to know before i buy it. Your help would be great.

Without building you mannequin up in the right places the suit will just hang on it. So if you can get your hands on a roll of bubble wrap and make you mannequin less stick like and appear more muscular under the costume it would be far more a realistic looking statue. Also dont forget that Darth Vader actor Dave Prowse was a body builder!

it takes about 40 minutes if you do it by yourself as it is a complex ensemble. if you have a mrs or significant other it would be advisable to have help putting it on it will be a lot easier
