  • i really like this song and im proud of who i am as well, I am a veteran/ wiccan i served my country as well as i could, And i hope that other soldiers- wiccans come forth and let people know who you are..... BLESSED BE..........

  • Freedom of speech.

    Freedom of faith.

    Freedom of religion.

    <3

  • I was a war witch in somlia, and else where, My DD214, counts me as a Buddhist. Witch wasn't on the form in my day.

I'll be burred next to my wife one day, but Arlington was once offered. My right sleeve and CIb a map of the world . Iam an HP to Hekate, a witch of 30 years...bless you.. I spent most of that thirty in a closet defending a concept that I prayed would one day include me.

    Brightest blessings,

    David

  • this song is every thing that is true when i have kids they will wear a pentacle when ever they want the schools can go to there hell

  • you know when my mom had her last few days here on this earth...the chaplain that came to our house was a wonderful man....he agreed I had a right to choose the path that made me happy....and said he was proud of me for standing my ground.....my mom knew who and what I was...and she was proud of me..as I am of my daughter and grandaughter!

  • My military sons may not understand my spiritual beliefs, but are happy to serve so that I may practice my beliefs. They both told me to be unafraid to practice and to be tolerant of other practices. That is the whole point of their service: to protect our individual rights. How cool is that?!

  • CAME OUT TO MY PARENTS BECAUSE OF THIS SONG! It gave me more strength than i couldve had on my own. Ityped em a letter and was singing this the wholllleee time!

    BLESSED BE CELIA!

  • I'm not going to lie: I listen to this everyday. :)

Blessings and love you and yours.

  • Thank you for your song, Celia!

  • insperational and beautiful.blessed be

  • Wow, that's powerful, and awesome. Rock on! Blessed Be.

  • My family doesnt know about me either.. I refuse to take off my pentacle for anything though! ~ )O( I came home crying before because the christians at my school have been very rude to me.. But i know the Goddess has my back when it all get downs to it. Bless the Goddess as she Blesses us with her prescence. :) My kids will be brought up with Paganism. :))) )O(

  • @vampgurl33 Most of my family doesn't know about me either, however, that will change at my open house at graduation. I will no longer hide my faith from them and if they can't accept me then that is their problem. I have been told that it was "just a phase" for 8 years and now I am a High Priestess as mentioned in a previous post. I may be the only wiccan in my family but I will never let them tell me it is a phase ever again. Believe in yourself, the path you have chosen, and never give up!

  • @WiccaPrincess16 I hopefully will as well.. I just hope that everything goes over well given that my uncle is a preacher.. :/ It'll o over interestingly given that EVERYTHING spreads like wildfire. So, im just holding my head up and waiting on the inevitable rain. Luckily, my Bf is supportive even though hes different from myself in the pagan aspect. Im just glad there are others who are supportive even if i dont know them. )O( Blessed be. :)

  • @vampgurl33 It's always good to have friends that accept you for who you are. My best friend does rituals with me even though she is of a "more acceptable" religion. She even helped me write part of a ritual. Its better to be hated for who you are then for who are not.

  • My mother knows but my father doesn't. I just wanna type wicca in to my facebook under religion but i am afraid of the ridicule and dishonor form my family.

  • @ScarletMeadows I understand your fears, considering my own dealings with my family, so here I am offering you an shoulder to cry on, someone to talk with, laugh with and some times get into an little bit of trouble, er oops, hahahah, no scrath that not trouble but fun good wholesome not getting caught sorta , well you get the picture. just remmeber the Great Mother has the eyes of an hawk and can here bs from ten miles backward and I'm am scuttling off to the corner now, eep! well blessed be )O(

  • @ScarletMeadows Im in the exact place you are.. But the only thing to do is stay strong and stick to your beliefs untl your of age. Then they cant do anything to you. Just ignore it. )O( Blessed be.

  • @ScarletMeadows just do it i did and i found a lot of other wiccans and one of them is oberon zellravenheart and selena fox you would be happy to know you will have a lot of people backing you up

  • i love this song so so much! It is awsome~ it made me cry too as well.

  • i wish i didnt have to hide my religion. Wicca is beautiful, i love the Goddess and God theyr'e gentle guidence has helped me through hard times. Blessed be everyone!

  • @alexzandervampire123 Time will make it easier for you to show your true self to the world because I am one who would love to see you as your true self not a false self. Thank you for your blessing to our Mother Earth. Blessed Be!!! )O(

  • @alexzandervampire123 why do you hide it?

  • i was called a witch for having a drawing of a penticle on my arm. :( he started trying to get the whole class against me. i already had a problem with everyone, and was already picked on. he started to shout that i'd curse everyone. the teacher walked over to me and put her hands on my shoulder and said not to worry. because wicca is a wonderful religion to have. then my best friend came beside me and said he'd defend me. im happy to have them beside me.

  • I love this song. I am 13 and I have been Wiccan for about 3 years. I wish there were more witches my age. I love that part when she is talking about that little girl because I am a girl and iwant to were my pendant to school but I am afraid they will take it.

  • @Lukasbrett4eva I am 15 and Wiccan. If I had a pentacle I'd where it proudly, and if you wish to do so, don't let anyone stop you. You have rights, too, and you're not alone. :)

  • Wauw ................... my mouth is open but i cant say nothing else but Wauw

The symbol of the God and Goddes was allready with him

The others can steel what we posses but not where we stand for!!!

    Blessed by all

All the love to you folks

  • Im thankful that my school is open to all religions and lets me where my pentacle. But even if they didnt let me, I still would. I dont care what people say, the pentacle is as sacred to me as a crucifix is to christians and catholics.

  • you know its a crying shame to stille be fighting this battle.

  • please post Quan Yin

  • This song never fails to give me chills.

  • I can understand how bad it can be to be Pagan in parts of the USA. Being from Wales in the UK, it's quite accepted, and all I can say is, I hope every Pagan and Wiccan in America can stay strong for their faith. :) Blessed be )0(

What a beautiful song, I'm Mexican and a resident of this beautiful country, I feel more american every day and more proud of people like Celia and all mi wicca brothers who fight for tolerance , I'm so proud to be part of this religion!!!!

  • Gotta say i LOVE this song! may all our pagan brothers and sisters rest in peace.

i have the triple moon goddess, horned god and pentacle all interwoven on my left forearm...caused a few raised eyebrows at work, but mostly i am blessed enough to have colleagues who accept me for who and what i am....a WITCH, a PAGAN and a proud one at that!

    great song Celia

    brightest blessings

  • )0( may the goddess bless all the pagan fighting

  • awesome song and she's gorgeous, but not my style

  • I love this song. I listen to it all the time. I just wish more people could open their eyes, minds, and hearts to see that we aren't much different than they are.

  • Pagan Pride! Blessed Be

  • Beautiful song--the message is wonderful. Listening literally gave me chills. I go to a Christian university, and I often wish I could be more open about my religion without it being frowned on. This video says it all--we have the right to openly worship the Lord and Lady.

  • wtg, we need freedom of speech for everyone..... Blessed Be

  • im so scared for my ex to find out that i am teaching our son the path. i want to pray to my Goddess & wear her symbol & speak openly! damnit ! my ex made me out to be a crazy radical because i refuse to vaccinate! i lost custody for three months for that one! where is it stated that vaccination is law!!! i filled out the forms to declare it against my religion i just didn't clarify which one! in my personal opinion it is. on samhain my son was singing the element chant as we trick or treated!

  • Many Blessings to you and your family. Wiccans everywhere cheer in appriciation for all you have accomplished for not only your own family, but for all of us.

    Ravyn Stormcrow

  • It´s a beautiful song a both a family tragedy. Not only losing a father but also denied a worthy final resting place.

Keep up the fight and good luck!

  • Such a beautiful song, I love it )O(

  • MY girlfriend and I are both Pagan/Wiccan, and when she showed me this video, It really spoke to me. Blessed Be )o(

I'm a Christian but I believe people can believe what they want to.

  • me and a boy who i call big brother are wiccan together. one day our school told him to take off his Pentacle. he said, "NO! Not til everyone else takes off their cross!" whenever they ask me to take off mine, i say the same thing. i am proud of what i am. I love this song! it is so perfect.

    Blessed Be )0(

  • @MusicIsMyHeartVX Thank you for standing your ground for all of us!!! It's great to see more witches and Wiccans and Pagans out in the world!!! Blessed Be!!! )O(

  • God. I saw her live today in Indianapolis. Then she went with us to dinner. She's amazing, incredibly intelligent and funny, not to mention a ray of light. I look up to her immensely.

I'm 13 and a Pagan and this song speaks out to me, especially. I've been discriminated, and it's horrible.

  • I am no longer Pagan, but I deeply believe in everyone's right to believe and practice as they see fit. I love this song, and I think it is shameful the way fear affects people's actions.

  • grow up.

  • I love this song, I really do. My favorite part is the part about the girl in school, but you have to consider the absolute truth behind the line "When you sent him off to war, you didn't care what he believed." I feel that honestly sums the argument up so much.

  • The goddess honestly gifted you with amazing talent and spirit.

I love how the audience is made up of people you wouldn't even guess are witches!

    Celia your amazing.

    blessed be

  • This is such a touching and beautiful song.

  • This song is amazing...it touched my heart...

  • I get goosebumps every time i hear "But her daddy is a lawyer, so get ready for the fight"

    love this song!

  • When I was in 9th grade my teacher called my principle into my math class to get him to order me to surrender my pentacle, I pointed out he wore a crucifix tie pin and he tried to have me expelled for insubordination. I'm now 21 and have a pentacle tatooed in the backs of both my hands, never bow or give in and to all those still in school who read this, dont be afraid to wear your pentacles and refuse to surrender them no matter what the cost. BLESSED BE!

  • Blessed be to you as well!

  • @RapidPlague wtf is a penacle?

  • @alskd12345 Im his girl friend and i have a type of austism doesnt change me or what i belive in ~ nice laugh cause i cant spell hope you feel proud :)

  • @alskd12345 a circle with a star in the center. :p

  • @RapidPlague I am proud of you!!! Thank you for standing in YOUR power and standing up for us!!! I was approached by a Jovie missionary and offered their Watchtower paper and I taught her the history of the watchtowers and taught her how to call all the watchtowers and she was the one to say, "I really need to go." I almost had her! Darn she got away. Celia was at Gaia's Temple today and she was wonderful! We fell in love with her instantly. Blessed Be!!! )O(

  • @RapidPlague I am an 17 year old senior and I was so afraid to wear my pentacle to school, however, I started to notice that many christians and catholics were allowed to wear their crucifixes. I now wear my necklace everyday and hold my head high. It is better to be hated for who you are than for who you aren't. I am a very young High Priestess and I am showing that on Friday at the school. Im drawing our symbol on my forehead and wearing it proudly no matter what! Blessed Be!!

  • @WiccaPrincess16 I wish you the best. I hope all goes really well for you. I'm tempted to ask how it goes, but I don't wanna be a creeper.

  • Amazing song. I cry every time I hear it.

  • Brilliant! Made me tear up a lil!

  • Thanks for your comment!

  • Celia I love this song, it's just a shame it had to be written in our country where freedom is supposed to be for everyone.

  • Blessed be to all those who compaigned for this cause! We who are not affiliated with the organised faiths are too often repressed and mistreated.
