  • Ape party!

  • 29k in views probably all mine..

  • But wait there’s more.....

    .

He has also suggested a link between skin colour and sex drive, positing the theory that black people have higher libidos, and argued in favour of genetic screening and engineering on the basis that "stupidity" could one day be cured. He has claimed that beauty could be genetically manufactured, saying: "People say it would be terrible if we made all girls pretty. I think it would great."

  • So they became whiter and whiter as they "evolve".

  • @ozredneck22 No; human beings who inhabited particular latitudes that directed less sunlight at them developed lighter skin, while human beings that continued to inhabit areas of the world with a high concentration of direct sunlight retained darker skin.

Of course, only an idiot would attempt to draw a correlation between something as meaningless as skin colour and "evolvedness". And that idiot would apparently be you.

  • @UppruniTegundanna says "Of course, only an idiot would attempt to draw a correlation between something as meaningless as skin colour and "evolvedness". Prof. James Watson co-discoverer of DNA writes: "There is no firm reason to anticipate that the intellectual capacities of peoples geographically separated in their EVOLUTION should prove to have EVOLVED identically. Our wanting to reserve equal powers of reason as some universal heritage of humanity will not be enough to make it so."

  • @ozredneck22 James Watson has been anathematized from all quarters for his statements on this matter, and rightly so.

  • @UppruniTegundanna hahahaha. "evolvedness" Some people just don't get it. How sad.

  • who's playing on bass from 5:30? sounds very nice

  • @mcfistish The track is from Sqarepushre's album "Ultravisitor", and is called Tetra-Sync.

  • Only have to disagree with the wright brother's flight in 1903, until this moment, there is no evidence for that flight other than the claim made by themselves.

  • Yes, but when are we finally going to blow our minds?

  • who could ever dislike this?

  • what about yuri gagarin and Soyuz?

  • Thank you for coming up with engineering related videos. I hope we can grow more relevant and educational alternative engineering videos online.

  • Whats with the friggin Fundies on here. Just enjoy the wonders of science. Concpts such as religion are mutually exclusive

  • this video is strange? the sumerians already had the solarsystem craved in their walls with the sun in the middle and the mark of DNA correct me if i'm wrong?? :P

  • how did i get here from wrestling

  • Leave it to the religious to believe in Zombies, and people who can live in whales. But throw something like radio carbon dating at them or simple facts of science isn't lock stock indignant of accepting change or adapting to or from simple observations over time. No, its just the stupidity of it is this and never can change. That is the one thing all religious people will never ever get. For they have been brain washed to believe things remain the same and never ever change. Lmao Zombies!!!

  • What a friggin joke. If man had been on this earth for 1.5 million years, we'd have a trillion , probably thousands of trillions, of people on this earth by now.

The other day, it was supposed to rain. There wasn't a cloud in the sky. They can't even predict the weather and we're supposed to believe these geniuses can tell us what happened 1.5 million years ago. It's laughable.

  • Comment removed

  • @YesYou123333

Fortunately for the part of us that likes to know where we've come from, techniques for dating things like bones, rocks, trees, ice; are much much much much more simple then techniques attempting to predict weather.

  • @YesYou123333 You are joke 2 .Its like I would hear a guys from the medieval. How can people be so stupid about simply facts? What do you think is archaeologist for ? they dig for fun? what do you think is chemistry for? what do you think is Radiocarbon dating?Genetics_? Ignorant people .And you are from US ? Its laughable xD

  • @laikros They are not simple facts. Forget your hatred towards God for one second and think clearly.

  • @YesYou123333 Maybe I used 2hard words(sorry about that)your reaction was adult but I think clearly and logical. I belive more in facts of many educated ,hard working people which They spend their whole lifes for searching answers and not just belive in fairstells of some people.I belive that the bible and the faith can help a lot people in hard times and thats good about that.So i dont want make people think diffrent but dont laught about the hard work of intelligent, educated man.

  • @laikros Worshipping God does not interfere with the pursuit of Science. Some of the greatest scientists of all time were Christian. Science and mathematics explains the how. God explains the why.

  • @YesYou Part1:nobodyWasTalkingAboutHate2god) I am christaina 2 and it doesnt mean I am beliver. But you say that people are looking for answers in mathematics. You got start somewhere. Its the worlds alphabet. But you forget that the people lived many many years ago were it was a crime to be atheist, and you could be been killed or put into jail.World is going foward,So we cant look behind. You dont know how to made a computer, you need specialist,so it is with all other thinks. You cant disagree.....

  • @yesYou Part2: .....you cant disagree with work about, you know nothin.Thats ignorant.Belive in Your religion/religious but It makes people angry when others say 2you "you gonna burn in hell' ??/? why ? because I dont belive in what they belive?Thats sick and how can somebody claim that earth is 6k years old? They are still Questions but with sitting wont be solved.

  • Awesome!!

  • This sort of thing while still fascinating, doesn't captivate my mind the way it used to :-\

music is more my thing now, but damn this is still so incredible to just ponder.

  • Woah. My fundie friend was right: science IS a religion.

  • I can't thank you enough for this amazing video. great job!

  • We all know none of this actually happened. Cuz the bible says something different.

    LMAO

  • @redwineisfine Totally agree with you. But wat does LMAO mean?

  • @nachtbericht haha lmao means laugh my ass off.

  • sucks that today there its incredibly difficult to find a revolutionary idea =( they had it easy... haha jkjk

  • All of that, but the majority of the human society is still: primitive, superstitious, ignorant and stupid.

  • @mraccident unfortunately I agree that majority of the human society is still primitive and ignorant when I see this amazing video is watched less than 30 thousand times while the Justin Bieber's is watched almost 400 million times!

  • @fordcredit84 What you base your assessment on is not that bad. I judge be my encounters with real life people outside; and it's much uglier.

My advice is - don't get out of the house!

  • @fordcredit84 You have to give respect to and humble at how far we've come as a species. This alone, I hope, relieves you of your frustrations for a primitive human society.

  • This is such a stunning and beautiful piece of artistry. The idea to provide a rapid-fire journey through human history like this was brilliant. It's so easy to forget in our day-to-day lives that we're part of a cosmic experiment - and a very, very fast one, in the grand scheme of things.

  • Anthropologasm!

  • Uh oh somebodies been watching a lot of Discovery Channel. Brilliant video :)

  • Good Good and too Good.

  • You are the man. M83 AND Squarepusher.

  • Awsome.... I love it. Watched over and over again. But just a little fast. Needed to pause to read & grasp some figures...

  • tartaria tablets? so important? lol never heard of anything coming from romania important >.>

  • Good follow up to the "Rube Goldberg" video. Well done!

  • the music just ruin it all. sucks!

  • Fantastic video! Amazing how you managed to compress the evolution of the human race, the evolution of the alphabet, agriculture, the Abrahamic religions, science and technology all into one single video. Impressive!

  • nice video.

  • Truly, nothing is quite so inspiring as having your own race summed up into a 10-minute video of epic achievements from the last million or so years. :D

  • 8 people were stupid enough to miss the "like" button.

    ALL my 5s!

  • Monkey Rave!! Not much has changed there huh lol

  • And this is why I have never understood people who say science is boring.

  • ...sigh ... All of a sudden mathematical chances have no meaning

  • Read wolframs book a new kind of science... All of a sudden how probably

  • Thank you, Alulu tablet!

  • after watching this i is going clubbing friday night lol

  • i really liked that

  • Your videos amaze me! keep up the good work! :D

  • Wow I really enjoyed this video Something vie been watning to see

  • your grate grandaddy might be a monkey not mine

  • @shyawnlinmonk you keep thinking that. but that doesn't make you right. scientific evidence strongly supports the theory of evolution and 95% of scientists in all areas of science also support the theory of evolution. it's probably right. if you can present some evidence of the contrary feel free to make a video outlining your ideas. as it stands, as much as you don't like it, humans and chimps share 98% matching DNA. within is overwhelming evidence that we both evolved from a commen ancestor.

  • @epshot right like anthropomorphic Global Warming has "overwhelming" evidences too I guess? I have to ask you what evidences? All that is being put forward is theoretical postulation and this is being assumed as evidence without being confirmed by independent bodies hence why its the Darwin "theory" and not "law". Leaving aside the fundamental evidences of Design, Information theory, causality, Laws without law makers, the question of purpose, Lets just look at it with maths shall we?

  • It has been proposed in several papers on the Mathematical chances of the Universe forming based on the current model of creation is no less than 1 x 10,000^1,000,000 or a chance of random assembly, for one specific protein 1 in 10^130 just consider these figures... it is extraordinarily large! it is equivalent to me taking a jumbo jet; every nut and bolt every thread in the seats all individual pieces throwing it in the air jumbled and it landing completed and ready to fly.

  • @shyawnlinmonk A probability is just a number, Comparing the formation of a jumbo jet to the formation of the universe or both to the formation of a protien are apples vs oranges vs elephants.

"Using the current model of creation"

    laugh.

  • @shyawnlinmonk It doesn't take a mathematician to look at examples of the fossil record and make sense of it all. Fortunately human beings have the ability to use intuition and reason to come to (yes) theoretical conclusions to some problems. In all probability, given the physical pieces of the puzzle we have collected, evolution happens. We know it's possible because it's been observed. We don't need math to know many things, an example being: If I don't drink water I dehydrate, and die.

  • @epshot ok ok you win obviously your Great Granddaddy was a monkey! Thanks for the insightful discussion.

  • i disagree with this theory of evolution

  • @TheGameFather101 disagree all you want.

It has been prove as much as the Theory of General Relativity, the Theory of Electromagnetism and the Theory of Gravity has.

The Theory of Evolution is quite literally the cornerstone of Biology and its many subfields. It is absolutely essential in understanding science in the modern age and its as real as the sun is.

  • @FreedomLiberty21

If only it were that simple. ;)

  • Comment removed

  • @TheGameFather101 it's too bad you disagree with the theory of evolution. mainly because it's probably the reality of lifes diversity on this planet. overwhelming evidence can be presented supporting the theory of evolution, you could start by looking at the fossil record of human beings, horses, whales etc. as well, evolution has been observed and documented and thus is known that it can and does happen.

  • @epshot I accept that you believe in what you have typed, and you have my blessing to go on believing it as long as you like.

  • @TheGameFather101

    Do I need your blessing?

If you have an alternate theory, please, enlighten me.

  • @epshot What was the purpose of your assertion then, if it wasn't my blessing you were looking for? There are a lot of alternative theories I'm sure. The idea that evolution occurred due to random mutations is nonsensical as far as I'm concerned though. The Pyramids were not created by wind storms. Organic life, constructs infinitely more complex than the pyramids, were not created in that way either.

Evolution does occur, but its with a focussed intent to adapt, its not random.

  • @TheGameFather101 That's an alternative theory. What makes that theory nonsensicle to me is that an organism can't will itself to grow longer arms to reach the food on the higher branch when all the food on the lower branch is eaten. It makes more sense that a random mutation happens giving longer arms by accident, and thus fuels survival of the fittest, and natural selection comes in to play. The more adept hunters prevail but they become more adept by chance, and pass on their genes.

  • @epshot Well then we are back to the start. I accept that it makes more sense to you that its all just a big accident.

I would say that of course the organism can redesign its offspring to be more suited to its environment. Its an integral lever in the design.

  • @TheGameFather101 That theory was debunked generations ago. Keep up.

  • lolz. 6:15 darwin's 3rd grade drawing becomes DNA? are ye kidding me?

  • How about making a video on the journey from my mothers tits to banging my girl friend in the back section of our space vehicle.

  • We now are using the same discovery team to reverse engineer The Dildo. It's extremely HARD to reverse engineer it because The Dildo has no moving parts. However, our team of crack, female engineers remain ON TOP OF IT until we can figure out how to reverse engineer it!

  • I reversed engineered The Trojan after studying it for many years I finally discovered you can reserve engineer it just by turning it inside out. Of course, it took my team of crack, female engineers to assist me with this discovery, but they remained on top of it all the way!

  • Now this must be true cause I saw my old flame and she hasn't shave off the hair under her arm pits!

  • All god people shud watch this

  • makes no difference...it's like talking to a wall....

  • Indians should have been credited for revolutionary number system....

  • Great! Cool! Fun to watch!!

    Thanks for uploading it.

  • excelent! thanks!

  • so the world ends at the colider lol jk

  • it also begins in the colider....

  • didn't see the music part on the info, thanks.

  • nice video, kinda wish for a track list to the music as well.

  • Im liking this in reverse thing.

  • nice

  • Gaico :so easy a cave can do it

  • No, MrKorton, ALL people are apemen! Nothing racist about the facts

  • Your English skills are also slipping, keep practising and you will do well consistently soon enough! Is Upplandi tugumandi really Icelandic for "Origin of Species?" I found your earlier comment fascinating if not educational. Keep up the educational it holds more meaning to people than mean or bashing or irrational.

  • sorry, I´m just trolling :/

yes, Uppruni Tegundanna is icelandic for "Origin of Species", u can google it and see it for your self.

  • White people are ape-men. yellow people are ape-men. All humans are apes.

  • Your videos are absolutely fantastic.

  • so there were a few points in the editing that seemed nonprofessional but this got me excited about all the awesome stuff we have done. Its pretty cool isnt it?

  • Hey! I friended you on reddit.

  • @ramalama246

I wish I could upmod you more

  • what about galenius who pioneerd human anatomy, or the development of urban planning, information relaying, aquaducts etc

  • Great video. Found it odd that the only mention of a contribution from the Roman Empire was Latin. Now that I think of it, there's not much else other than warfare...

  • Think harder. We benefit from roads, plumbing, and concrete on a daily basis.

  • Very true. I can't believe I forgot those.

  • But other than that, what have the Romans ever done for us?!

  • But other than that? HA... Dont know too much about Rome to know otherwise, but roads, plumbing, concrete... quite the solid base to human health and transportation from my perspective!!

  • Actually, that was just a quote from the Life of Brian!

  • @UppruniTegundanna yea stupid roman barbarian savages ;)

  • it's like the beginning of the video: "in the jungles of Africa, life has spawned something truly brilliant."

  • The scientific advances we've been lucky enough to have witnessed in the last 100 years alone has been truly stunning. I feel we are on the threshold of amazing discoveries in the next few years.

Now is a great time to be alive if you have a love of science.

    GREAT VIDEO.

  • Its better than any book.

  • Well, let's not get carried away. The difference between a book and a picture show is that in one your imagination is the limit; in the other you're given what to see and need to use fewer mental resources.

But, it's still a wonderful piece.

  • Brilliant!!!

  • history of mankind break it down now. get down with the australopithecus.

lol ergaster looks like vikings..in the desert

  • this should be in freakin science classes all around. kids would probably show an interest, and in general, probably be less bastards than they seem to be increasingly becoming. make science and philosophy 'hip' and you have some inevitable improvements, i think.

  • must have take like a few weeks to make

  • woh sweetl ol

  • Wonderful!

  • i didnt completely understand it but very well done, great work!

  • we came from the universe, and throughout all the achievements we have accomplished, we're finally beginning to understand how we came from the universe, and perhaps, where the universe may have came.

  • so evolution then.

  • more like ironic emergence...not just biological evolution

  • fair enough,im not a scientist

  • 5 star and fave. Awesome.

    DJ

  • its the CONTINUAL HUMAN PARTY!

  • Wow, a summary of the evolution of mankind summed up in 10 minuted. Brilliant piece of work indeed.

  • Wonderful video, i'm impressed.

  • Thank you for a nice change this video rocks and I def happy i spent 10 minutes online for a change nothing less than 5 stars

  • this video is seriously under viewed.

Its extrodinarily well done and covers such a vast array of knowledge, development and time in a such a fascinating way.

very well done, I'm impressed :)

  • Yes it is seriously under-viewed, it seems all the celeb gossip BS and "Britney's Bathing Suit Falls Off" or something like that gets more views... sheesh... we just are obsessed with SEX and CELEBS and crap...

  • You have to be joking....

  • Sadly, it is far easier than you might want to imagine to convince people of conspiracy theories.

  • LOL wow

  • Even with all the evil primitive shit going on in the world today I still cant imagine there being a better time to be alive. I may yet see the day when humanity awakens to its full potential.

  • its all very strange isnt it; that things would be.

  • Awesome, a video which appreciates all the wonder and beauty of our existence whithout the mythological crap!

  • What do you mean by mythologial crap? Also, what you think is false doesn't mean it's fact, I suggest you be tolreant unless you want people to be tolerant to your beliefs.

  • LOL, ogirv101, what is to be tolerant towards people like you who try to sell camp-fire stories about an all-knowing magic being as truth? I'm tolerant to opinions, but not to delusion, reality-twisting and lying. My world doesn't consist of beliefs and half-perceived "truths", not to mention the interpretation of an allegorical old book as fact.

  • llegorical by definition is philosophy and the Bible itself is philosophy and not fact. I don't really see what in the hell you're talking about. Come back with logical coherence and without the use of your appeal to ridicule fallacy, you look like a fool right now, please understand Theology or get educated on it and then talk to me.

  • ogirv101: Yeah, yeah, yadda, yadda. Everytime you enter a thread you start with personal attacks. You might stick to "Theology" and some ancient irrelevant poetry. I'm with reality.

  • Hmmm, I'm the one making personal attacks? Is that so? I have pointed out the faults in your reason and logic and I gave suggestion to learn new forms of thinking before you make a fool of yourself, you take that as an offense? Take it as an offense go ahead, but it wasn't meant to be a personal attack.

Your igorance and recalcitarnce only more accurately supports my case, I just ask you to be open minded and stop being a bigot.

  • Honestly, darnbuckle, all that happens when you talk like this is that you come across as smug and self-righteous. "Deluded", "irrational", "lying" etc - these words are used with such abandon that they scarcely have any meaning beyond demonstrating that the user of them is not interested in civil dialogue.

You have fallen into the trap of thinking that the more rigid and uncompromising you are in espousing your beliefs, the more righteous those beliefs are.

  • UppruniTegundanna: You might not have encountered ogirv101. He constantly abuses people, thinks that the Bible is "the inspired word of God", that the theory of evolution is false and is based on "speculations", above all he brags about his supposedly high IQ. So no, today I'm not interested in ogirv101. And for believing, I only believe in things for which I have solid evidence.

  • Well, I don't know what his precise beliefs are, although his profile doesn't suggest that he is anti-science. I might be wrong though. In any case, the problem with the internet is that people in general seem to think that normal social protocol doesn't apply because the other person is not directly in front of them.

Aber wenn du recht hast, mein Beweis ist folgendes: fress nicht den Troll!

  • Sorry! Ich meinte nicht Beweis, sondern Hinweis.

  • Damn it! My German has clearly gone rubbish in the past couple of years. Not "fressen", but "futtern". Oh never mind!

  • Thank You!!! you made my day!

  • Man, the things man has accomplished!

  • Love your videos.

  • you probably put me back on the track. thank you.

  • awesome !
