rama loves me the most and i'm the most favorite one of him and that's why a bit spoilt but people become my enemis and feel jealous of me and get cruel punishment from rama himself!!! hahahaha...
The translation in Hindi that I could make out: Mangal=shubh (propitious, auspicious), bhava=hona (happen, cause), haari=harana, vighnavinashak (rid, defeat), dravahu=drav ki tarah (fluid-like), sudasharath=dus rath (ke sath) (ten-chariots), achar=pairheen, parheen (without feet or wings) (acheer? antonym of cheer? or ajeer?), vihari=bhraman karnewala (roves, roams), puni=punah (over and over again), repeat, aru=aur (and). The rest are commonly used words in Hindi. Hope it is in order.
@monikamishra2007, thanx for your such an appreciative comment. I myself was wondering what could be the meaning of the verse. Net helps little about Awadhi.
hey,,, thanks a lot for this...thanks a lot,,i tried my best to find this particular music for mangal bhavan song...all i cud find was the one from the movie and all..thanks a lot ...its so soothing and listening it just makes me feel so good about myself and my religion...so pure....love everyone,,peace..
The best part is how the Ramayan is traced to sources in all major Indian languages. It shows that despite what the Leftists tell us, we are one nation... from the Khyber Pass to Arunachal...it's one Akhand Bharat...and one day we will take it all back. Imagine the whole of India brought under one flag.
gets tears on my eyes too. i used to watch Ramayan with my grand parents when i was child. they used to explain us. now i live in USA. i missed a lot those days. i hope my next generation in USA will understand all these values. i miss my country...
this song brings tears in my eyes.i remembered when i was a child i used 2 watch this serial on sony(in 1995).Also a great work done by Ravindra jain.
My Sanskrit leaves much to be desired but I would say this line talks about the victory of good over evil:
mangal = good; auspicious
bhavan = world; abode (- ?)
amangal = bad; inauspicious
haari = to lose
Matlab, that which is pious will gain victory over that which is unholy. When I obtain a better, fuller translation of this I will add it to the description of this video.
Hi bindiyay, I would like to make a correction. The language here is not Sanskrit. It is Awadhi Hindi, still spoken by few people of the Gangetic plains especially around Ayodhya in UP. The Rama-Charitramanas written by Shri Tulsidas is in Awadhi itself from where this series derives most of its plot, though other works by other Great Indian Saints have also been used in this series.
@DichterAkash I feel the translation is meant as an address (Creater of the good and destroyer of the inauspicous/bad, please reside in (my) heart, O son of Dasrath)
nothing coud have been better ...in this world than lord Ram's name ....this is awsome brother, thanks a million, who has posted this on youtube.....its a pearl lying in the ocean of youtube.

Translation, transliteration of the literary marvel in Awadhi of Goswami Tulsidas. Hope you like it. Grateful f any suggestions or corrections-
Propitious will be caused
Ominous will be rid
(Ramayan is a) Fluid with ten chariots
(That) Roves all over with no feet!
Sita-Ram character, supremely divine
Charming, interesting and sublimely enticing
Over and over again, countless times, renditioned & heard
The thirst of the heart doesn’t feel like quenched!
