well..its the theme song for the beer that theyre playing...played on beer bottles...when we are a beer loving nation for the most part. i guess if youre not aussie or dont know much about us it can be hard to understand :)

no, definitely not. I can say that with confidence because you can see that while the notes of the melody are changing, and everything is in unison, each player continues to play. It is therefore not really being played live, because each bottle can only produce one note. It IS very possible that the recording was made using beer bottles... but like I said, very cute, just not a live performance. I also think it's really great that they used real musicians for this :)

meh, after watching it again, there are chords where the melody is changing... and there are those people who have the sets of three bottles to play the different notes. someone should confirm whether this is real or not. If it is, I'm really freakin impressed.
