jzenman.. wow.. I remember when we needed some money and you came up with that name.. "tell him it's.. J Zenman" hahahaha we were in Mexico? or trying to get to Mexico.. been a long time. good times.
@spazaru... I know... And I think there's too much distortion on the guitar. But it's one of my favorite songs of Deliver Man... Plus it's an all around favorite of mine.
Solomon Burke "Don´t give up on me" 2002. It´s a great disc. Buy it. There is this song, and others written by Nick Lowe, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Tom Waits or Brian Wilson. All of them, songs that didn´t have been recorded before. It´s an essential album.

What a MAN,what a VOICE! Yeah, Solomon Burke's is good ... but this is the original and its great. Thank you for this, trying to download Memphis concert from WinMX.
Correct me if I am wrong but is was Solomon Burke that collaborated with Elvis on this song in 2002. He was along in age by this time with a tired voice.. (born 1940) But I like Burke's version better!!
I don't know much about Elvis but God Damn I love this song!

He's singing it too fast; the studio version is better. Still, great song!

Ho Hum...Yet another great EC song. I wonder if he ever gets bored writing these unique photosnaps into the human condition ?....
If there ever were a genius produced by rock after the early 70s, this is the genius.

Burke´s version is good, but please remember that this is a Costello´s song and always is better the original..
