  • I just loved the 70's..............the music, clothes, hair you name it!

The Midnight Special showcased so many talented musical groups........I really miss those days!

  • So smooth, so soulful, so splendid, and just sooooooooo 70's. ~Peace out and God Bless~.

  • this is just a damn nice song

  • i miss midnight special. amazing live performance, kudos to christine & fm. Wonderful - one of christine's best songs. this video must have been a hard one to find.. i wish they would re-play some of those episodes.

  • love it, love it, love it.

  • always love Christine McVie !!! ... a band for alltime.

  • One of my favorite Fleetwood Mac songs

  • Great performance - you almost wish it could go on longer than the 2:50!! PS - anyone know who introduced the band here - he looks so familiar from 70's TV when I was growing up - was his last name Brenner? Thanks - Strikes

  • @calledoutonstrikes You've got it... it's David Brenner who was everywhere on tv in the 70's - mostly known for his guest hosting on the Tonight Show

  • Fleetwood Mac were the coolest people on the planet when this performance was filmed.

Stevie was at the absolute height of her iconic look at this point..when you think of her this is how most people picture her.

Lindsey with his fro and kimono was the 70's

Christine was one of the greatest white soul singers EVER

John and Mick looked cool without even trying

  • goood times.... goooooooooooood timmmmmmmes :)

  • Fantastic footage!! Really great old Fleetwood Mac tune... great version here. Thanks for posting robdirkadirka.

  • I'd completely forgotten about this song. Glad I found it again.

  • Stevie Nicks has one of the best voices ever......Gotta love Christine on this...Great song..

  • CLASSIC rock at one of it's finest moments

  • the only time you'll ever see lindsey use a pick....or a strat for that matter.

  • Christine really shines here, gotta love that bassline too.

  • Stevie looks very HOTT in this video

  • rare to see LB playing with a guitar pick

  • @MrShaunwhite yes, i just noticed that myself. whats weird is that if u listen to the studio version it sounds like his usual finger plucking. wonder why he used a pick for this live version.

  • do what? stevie doesn't have a good voice?!?!?! are you on crack or what??? she's an angel! if you weren't around in the 70's i guess i can understand your ignorance.

  • i listened to them through every change, but i think that Nicks was the big mistake, she just doesn't have a good voice.

  • @britchey11 u are cleary an idiot

  • @Xzkilz no, she has one gravel sound that is good w/ material written for her, i can't stand her on the older fm stuff. i saw them 4 times, 1970 was my first, , but i stopped when they brought her in. and that concert, people booed her. many times. wasn't the same band, they should have changed their name.

  • lindsay buckingham is very underated guitar player..

  • Yes he certainly was....I never get tired of listening to this band....

  • very cool harmonic lead...wish they would show him do it...

  • unbelievable talent

  • Probly used the pick for the harmonics. Dude is super talented.

    Fleetwood Mac FTW!

  • Buckingham used a pick!

  • rrrrrrrrrrr, I'l sing to that :)
