i miss midnight special. amazing live performance, kudos to christine & fm. Wonderful - one of christine's best songs. this video must have been a hard one to find.. i wish they would re-play some of those episodes.
Great performance - you almost wish it could go on longer than the 2:50!! PS - anyone know who introduced the band here - he looks so familiar from 70's TV when I was growing up - was his last name Brenner? Thanks - Strikes
@MrShaunwhite yes, i just noticed that myself. whats weird is that if u listen to the studio version it sounds like his usual finger plucking. wonder why he used a pick for this live version.
do what? stevie doesn't have a good voice?!?!?! are you on crack or what??? she's an angel! if you weren't around in the 70's i guess i can understand your ignorance.
@Xzkilz no, she has one gravel sound that is good w/ material written for her, i can't stand her on the older fm stuff. i saw them 4 times, 1970 was my first, , but i stopped when they brought her in. and that concert, people booed her. many times. wasn't the same band, they should have changed their name.
I just loved the 70's..............the music, clothes, hair you name it!
The Midnight Special showcased so many talented musical groups........I really miss those days!

@calledoutonstrikes You've got it... it's David Brenner who was everywhere on tv in the 70's - mostly known for his guest hosting on the Tonight Show

Fleetwood Mac were the coolest people on the planet when this performance was filmed.
Stevie was at the absolute height of her iconic look at this point..when you think of her this is how most people picture her.
Lindsey with his fro and kimono was the 70's
Christine was one of the greatest white soul singers EVER
John and Mick looked cool without even trying

i listened to them through every change, but i think that Nicks was the big mistake, she just doesn't have a good voice.
