  • The pope is the anti christ the lord Jesus warned us about. The pope changed the sabbath day to a pagan day sunday which is dedicated to satan and sun worship. The pope gave the orders to torture millions of christians in the dark ages this is also a fullfilment of bible prophecy as anti christ. The pope called himself jesus's equal fullfiling the blasphemy of the anti christ. The pope came to power after romes fall and is still here today to fullfil Revelation 13 , he is 2thess2:4

  • WHAT? I wish Jesus would come back and tell somebody to rewrite the bible in english.... didn't understand a word.

  • @lilrara11804 It's be done. Read the English Standard Version. youversion(dot)com

  • Some people will not be convinced until Jesus is comes on the clouds, when it is too late. They want to live their lives with out any one telling them what is right or wrong. We will be hated for his sake. Things have been proven about bible truth, but they are blinded or the mainstream media ignores them. Even the churches are guilty of this.

  • @burly636 I'm told right and wrong every day. My conscience. Law. I'm not saying I'm atheist, because I'm still searching for truth, but I don't need a thousands of years old book to tell me right and wrong. Especially when it tells me the RIGHT thing to do is stone a woman for cheating, or stone my son if he is stubborn and doesn't believe... not just hit them with a rock, but the whole town, stone them to death. I've run across muslim vids of this. Their book tells them it's right. Horrible.

  • @lilrara11804 That was the Right thing to do for literal Israel prior to the death of Christ IF you can accept the literal presence of God as described in the Old Testament back then. The stonings were a part of their civil judgments when under the truest theocracy. But that is no reason to reject Christianity, putting your Trust in Jesus since we no longer abide by the civil judgments according to scripture.

  • I don't mean any harm, but which Bible course did u get that from, that the 70 weeks of Daniel is fulfilled? that's not true at all. only 69 weeks were fulfilled up to the time of Christ's death. This is why the Antichrist is going to sign a agreement with Israel for one week or 7 years. We are still in the church age which is between that 69th week and 70th week. Believe what u will, but nothing will change what's about to happen to this world. Acts 2:38 is still God's plan of salvation

  • @rossdaboss1959 No offense friend, but what do you based this on? Since when does week 70 come many generations after week 69? the 1st 69 came successively one after the other and your interpretation requires to chop the last week off and move it to the end of time. Doesn't make sense and no other prophecy follows this idea. And u chopped the most important prophecy of them all, the one dealing with the 1st coming of Jesus Christ himself 2000 years ago. Reconsider your beliefs friend.

  • @rossdaboss1959 Sorry friend. I'm familiar with your version of interpretation of the 70 week prophecy. I think you should study that one out further from a different perspective. That prophecy SPECIFICALLY points to Jesus' first coming. That is why Jews to this day in the Talmud pronounce a curse on anyone who studies that prophecy. 70 comes after 69. You don't take the last week of that prophecy and move it to the end of time.

  • Wait, are you fucking serious? You are claiming that the prophecies that the bible present are "most amazing" and correct, because the bible self fulfills it? You got to be fucking kidding me.

  • @AthiestJames Dude. You wanna watch your mouth. Perfect example why some of us filter comments. This isn't even a religious thing, do you curse like that on the job (guess it depends on your work) or in front of your family? Nice. And the prophecies are clearly laid out in the bible and HISTORY & ARCHAEOLOGY CONFIRM IT. We aren't using the Bible to confirm itself. The Bible explains itself yes (symbols, etc) but only history can tell us if what is presented is true. Understand?

  • @sleanos Oh. Because I use "naughty words" such as "fuck" ? Is that it? And History and Archaeology? Are you serious? Before I even start arguing, I want to see the "evidence" that you claim to have. Cite me a book, website, or even wikipedia. Let me see the evidence.

And you just said that the bible self confirms the prophecy (has nothing to do with symbols), and history doesn't tell us that the bible is true. Understand?

  • @AthiestJames The only reason I'm letting your posts come through is again as another example of why people have the right to censor comments on their own personal pages. I have family, friends and youth that come to my page. But since you did ask for some information there is a ton (more than 50 hours of studies/references to the inspiration of the bible at bibleuniverse(DOT)com. Start there.

  • @sleanos I was asking for evidence, not an online store, self fulfilled prophecies, bible reading plan, and a hymn of the day.

I asked for evidence. I want direct archaeological and historical evidence that you claim to have.

please, show them to me. And if you site a source, go to the place in the site where it talks about the evidence, not the homepage.

  • @AthiestJames No offense, but who are you and what makes you think I'm going to serve you with a silver spoon. I've pointed you in the right direction. Take the bible prophecy courses there which are progressive in the evidence it presents. All the citations and evidence you could want are located there for you to disect one by one as I and many others have. C.S. Lewis, Lee Strobel and many other once upon a time atheists have done such and have intelligently come to Christ.

  • @AthiestJames

Try look for the series Total Onslaught. At amazingdiscoveries.tv high have what you asking for.

  • @AthiestJames Okay so u are an atheist I will use logic to help you out. Atheism comes from the Greek word Alpha negative theos negative, which means there is no God. But, saying there is no God is affirming an absolute negative. How can u affirm an absolute negative unless you have infinite knowledge?U cannot, it is the equivalent of saying there are no orange rocks in the entire universe, how can you know with limited knowledge? So maybe you should call yourself an agnostic, since u cant know.

  • Just another example of the impatience/ignorance of people when things aren't to their liking.

  • There are NO prophecies, not in the bible nor elsewhere. NOBODY can predict the future accurately.

  • Your ignorance on the matter is astounding. The Bible is the ONLY book every to be completely accurate in its prophecies. Skeptics admit this as well, which they try to reason that the events where written after the fact, but that doesn't explain all the prophecies from the time of Christ till now.

  • sleanos Your ignorance is indeed estounding: Give me ONE prophecy in the bible or elsewhere, done centuries in advance, giving exact data: date, location, description, names, how and why. Thank you. Without exact data it`s no more than an horoscope.

  • The 70 week prophecy of Daniel, predicted 490 years (a day for a year in prophecy) till the desolation of the Jewish nation and coming of the Messaih. Start date was given as the restoration of the Jewish temple, count down 490 years from there. Events were given in great detail to describe what the Messiah would do and what would occur.

  • sleanos:

---a day for a year in prophecy)-- Why ? Any logic ? With this kind of calculation, you can find the same prophecy in " Little Red Riding Hood "

  • Yes there is logic. God pronounced judgment on the Israelites in the book of Exodus as 40 days, and then describes it as 40 years... which the wandered in the desert. Jacob served Labin for 7 years twice and described each period as a week. Prophecy is given cloaked in symbols because of the time it was written in which was dangerous for the prophets and who it pointed out. Very logical my friend... just like cryptograms today.

  • "you can find the same prophecy in " Little Red Riding Hood " "

Ok, show me your prophecy with dates, locations, descriptions, names, how and why backed by respected historians and archaeologists please in your Red Riding Hood prophecy. Thanks.

  • Hello Philos2006... I'm still waiting...

"you can find the same prophecy in " Little Red Riding Hood " "

Please show me your prophecy with dates, locations, descriptions, names, how and why backed by respected historians and archaeologists please in your Red Riding Hood prophecy. Thanks.

  • sleanos--Sorry sir. I don`t see any point in discussing with somebody who doesn`t understand "sarcasm".

To make you understand, I should have said " Any book" instead of" L R R H "

Your calculations are open to interpretation , are not specific and therefore your so-called prophecies are horoscopes. Nothing else.

    .

  • Philos2006 - lol Let me tell you something son, as an ex club dj/professional gambler & 10+ years as a software engineer, having NOT grown up in the church and willingly joining after 30 years after MUCH study, I think I understand sarcasm quite a bit. I'm simply CALLING YOU ON YOUR BLUFF and for you to provide specific rhyme or reason to the GENERALIZATIONS & accusations you bring forth.

  • Horoscopes are open to interpretation and not specific. Bible prophecy is reliable and trustworthy.

You would know this if you ACTUALLY studied them, even if it was just to disprove. That is my challenge to you. When I hear people makes statements such as yours I can tell right away that that is a person who has not studied these things out fully for themselves but rather reads what skeptics and unbelievers put out about them. Have you studied out the time prophecies given? Seriously?

  • Then you hav what protestants have been saying for years as the beast power/anti-christ pointing to the papacy which piggy backs on the prophecies of Daniel predicting the world powers with more than 10 specific descriptions that only the Papacy fits. After that there is the 1260/42 months, times/time & half a time(day for a year) prophecy of Daniel that shows up again in Revelation descrining how, why and how long the Papacy would rule fulfilled to a tee. I can keep going if you like..

  • sleanos

After that there is the 1260/42 months, times/time & half a time(day for a year) Again why this silly calculation ?

  • Those aren't sill calculations. Those are exact time period given in the Bible. The starting points are given and the events as to what is the occur is given. See my answer above as to why "a day of r year" is used in prophecy.

  • The book of Daniel is said by skeptics (with no convincing evidence) to have been written after the fact. Ok fine. They're wrong, but then how do they explain the 1260 year reign and events described in the Bible as to the reign and atrocities of the papacy? And there is still yet more prophecy given as to current day events.

  • Can I name some of them? No offense but do you not know how to use google, amazon or a library/university to do research?

  • How about Jesus' prediction that "this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened" (Mt 24:34; Mk 13:30; Lk 21:32) where he prophecies his own return in the life span of those listening and yet he did not return.

As for the above video i would politely suggest that some of the new testement has been ..shall we say...doctored in order to fulfill prophecies as it developed. Seeing as it was written by those with a vested interest to do so who can blame them.

  • You really should study the Old Testament as it predicted precisely (timlines) the 1st coming of Christ, and the dark ages papacy supremacy time period to a tee. The new testament simply confirms the prophecies of the book of Daniel and expounds further. Please stop with the "higher criticism" which is baseless in their arguments.

  • how are thy baseless and in what way ? Could you expand on the dates that are given in the texts for christs arrival?thanks

  • The higher criticism against the Bible typically comes from those who have no respected credentials in the field of biblical or historical studies. It tends to border on fringe study.

Here is a chart full of scripture/timelines for you to investigate further for yourself:

    tinyurl (DOT) com/dk6scr

  • Thanks. I'll check this out. What are your respected credentials before I do? I trained for the ministry and flunked due to losing my faith.I studied up to A level in the UK( aged 18) however the JOHANNINE COMMA i quoted about earlier is from a 1709 book by MILLS about the errors and copyist problems to do with the TEXTUS RECEPTUS that Erasmus erroniously chose .These are not my credentials but theirs. Can you answer the question about Jesus claim Mt 24:34; Mk 13:30; Lk 21:32 about his return.

  • I have no credentials of my own in the field of theology. I am a software engineer by trade for the last 10+ years. All I know is through the Word of God, led by His Spirit and evidences from respected persons in their fields that give suffienct evidence in terms of accuracy of translation of the Bible as it is in the King James. The Textus Receptus is one of the best to have been used confirmed by the Dead Sea Scrolls and Torrah.

  • Your question: Mat 24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

Bible Answer: 2Pe 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

  • Your question: Mar 13:30 & Lk 21:32

Study the 1260 & 2300 day/year prophecies. The Lord predicted certain events that had to come to pass after these timespans before the end would come from the book of Danial and repeated again in the book of Revelation.

  • The consummation did not happen in 1844.

  • No argument there. Christ's ministry from the holy to the most holy compartment occurred at that time as prophecy indicates.

  • Amen to this video!!! If only the world could see the beautify of the 2300/490 day prophecies!!!! They stand UNIMPEACHED!

  • It's good to see this traditional Protestant (though I am Messianic ;-) ) interpretation of that prophecy of Daniel's. Since Hal LIndsey's book people have been taught to believe it refers to our time and the anti Messiah, rather than to Messiah and His incarnated time on earth.
