@Murakumon90 I think they're trying to make a case for sense with ICS coming out. Many think that UI enhancements like Sense and TouchWiz are unnecessary with ICS and really want HTC, Samsung, Moto, etc. to stop using them

I've had an HTC Hero for 2 years and I now realise that I made a mistake of epic proportions on that fateful day 2 years ago. I'm still sticking to Android, but I've decided to buy a Galaxy Nexus because I don't want stupid skins like Sense ruining my phone.

To clarify, Sense was really good 2 years ago when stock Android sucked but a combination of stock Android getting better and HTC going really overboard with Sense (3D effects etc) means that Sense is making Android worse, not better.

@getitbates HTC support their older phones, but you can not expect to buy a phone and get latest update for the OS or the UI for like 3 years.. The world is changing so the technology and all of the companies on the market are making new devices which eleminate the opportunity to support many older devices.. Also there is a class of each devices and some of them just can't take the new update.. So HTC support as much as they can affort it ! No bad feelings dude. :)

@joseluisbolos You are mistaking word support with capabilities. They had hard time getting 2.3.5 with Sense 3.0 on my Desire HD as it was hard to get good performance out of it. Desire had hard time with 2.3.3 a while ago and it took them a quite long amount of time to get it working properly. You can´t expect to have every single update on phone that was high end specced 2-3 years ago. You expect to run Crysis 2 on full details at 60 fps on 3 years old laptop?

@Triglavus Desire was released on 04/2010. Not 2 years, even less 3. And I expect a high end computer from 1.6 years ago to have plenty of memory and resources to run all the normal apps, which the Desire, with is meager 147 Mb, hasn't.

@TheDhezballah Yes, it's a worth update, I used custom sense 3.0 ROMs too, then I switched to new official Sense 3.0. Without any overclocks it runs butter smooth. And I didn't noticed any fast battery drains. Battery life still same as when it has Sense 2.1, only stuffs got better and official, so I recommend you go with it...
