  • if they approve this all theyll do is flood the lines n come here nope im not supporting this message

  • I LOVE IT!!

"Create a Second Class Of Citizens?"

    Well They're NOT Citizens!!

So That Rules Out Thar Argument!

  • 3/3 C SPAN “Black Republican Forum” Session 2 (begin at 11:30) West said one of the 1986 caveats was to secure our borders, enforcement our laws, but we’re still talking about new amnesty like DREAM Act. We can’t allow local cities to make sanctuary cities policies, because they will bring our inner city turf wars to epic proportions by bringing in the drug cartel and Columbian gangs. (Mexican Gangs don’t recognize our borders established by the Treaty of Guadalupe)

    .

    Allen West 2012

  • 2/3 In November 2010, 15.1 million were unemployed (9.8%). 154 million are able to work in workforce (15.1 million/9.8%). GOOGLE “illegal immigration counters”, There are 11,941,812 (or 11.9 million) skilled jobs provided to illegal immigrants. the 15.1 million unemployed could take the 11.9 million available jobs. The unemployment rate could be reduced to 2.1% {{15.1-11.9)/154}.

  • 1/3 Immigrationcounters com 97% illegal immigrants are from Mexico. Illegalimmigrationstatistics org $1117 - The average amount you and your family paid in taxes this year to support illegals. 51% - The percentage of Mexican immigrant households that use at least one major welfare program. 28% use more than one.

  • Americans... we can change this , call your Senators & State Rep , the Numbers are here on line . I do it daily, it only takes a few min. Call the Wa office & the State office, simply say... No one will be relected if this does not happen. Severely fine businesses who hire illegals, no more free ER care, no more anchor babies, no education to illegals or anchor babies, no more WELFARE. If they are illegal they need to go . " your voice will count" Do it & do it often.

  • The DREAM Act misses the entire point of being an ILLEGAL ALIEN. Illegal does not mean "if you can avoid being deported for five or more years", it means YOU'RE NOT ENTITLED TO BE HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE. I would like to introduce my own DREAM ACT. I DREAM politicians will begin to stand up for legal, tax-paying, middle class citizens who follow the laws. Deport law breakers and their anchor babies. Stop subsidizing criminal behaviour.

  • illegal immigration will live for ever even if the dream act never is succesful. If the government completely bans all illegals then the United States will crumble from lack of workers and crime will spread since illegals will have to steal from others. Face it illegal immigration will never end unless USA ends with it.

  • Why the fuck is Russia reporting on our internal affairs and taking up news issues that we are totally opposed to. Why doesn't Russia take our blood sucking illegals?

  • I disagree, because its a slap in the face to other foreign countries that are waiting patiently waiting for there opportunity.

  • if illegal hispanics and mexicans don't appreciate all welfare and other free government programs they bleed dry, they can pack their shit up and go back where they came from.

The Dream Act will only cause more illegal immigration in America. Im all for immigration but I am 100% opposed to illegal immigration.

Terms im getting very tired of: undocumented workers, long term residents, migrant workers. They're ILLEGAL ALIEN IMMIGRANTS.

Alyona be a journalist, be objective. Thumbs down.

  • @ThePoliticalPugilist Americans... we can change this , call your Senators & State Rep , the Numbers are here on line . I do it daily, it only takes a few min. • Wow, that guy is an idiot!

  • Modern slavery in the united states of america, young people, strong, but with not education or status, ready for McDonald's and to clean the toilets at Wall Street.

  • @opinionrated

Nobody risks life or limb to be a slave.

  • @opinionrated

No you dumb retard. Slaves aren't allowed to leave. The blood sucking illegal aliens are free to leave anytime they want. Lets liberate them from "slavery" and send them back home then.

  • According to a 2008 CDF (Children's Defense Fund) report, listed below is research of 12th grade students by race / ethnicity & percentage of students not reading / doing math at grade level :

    White, non-Hispanic : 57% / 71%

    Asian : 64% / 64%

    American Indian : 74% / 94%

    Hispanic : 80% / 92%

    Black : 84% / 94%

  • Ignoring the larger issue of immigration in general, blocking enrollment for undocumented people is just bad for academia, period. Who the fuck cares if they take a slot away from a documented American? In fact, from the standpoint of furthering academics, it's good that they do. You want the best possible applicant, no matter where they come from, to get the slot. To do otherwise would be a form of nationalistic nepotism. That said, it would be okay to take away income based aid from them.

  • People seem to forget that WE THE CITIZENS of the United States of America OWE ILLEGAL ALIENS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, NO MATTER WHERE THEY COME FROM. Why should we take away from our own children so the children of usurpers can have more? Why should they be put ahead of those who have waited patiently in line to enter our country legally, sometimes for years?

Charity begins at home, and I know lots of people who would love to be able to attend college and can't do it.

  • Americunts are losers. they whine and bitch about everything. I say let those immagrants in and and take away all of the americunts'jobs yeah.

  • @PakistaniisPower kind of insulting to both sides

  • no preschool no high school no any school

    go the fuck back home

  • @hcwcars1

    Amen!!!

  • @hcwcars1 Preach on brother.

  • Deportation.......NOT Education!!!

  • what is the point in beaners graduating from college when they will no longer work $4 per hour post-graduate job ? They will simply be taking one of the scarce jobs an American is entitled to. Remember, illegals are here to do the job Americans won't do.

  • @itisYOUREnotYOUR

It's not that they are here to take the jobs Americans won't do - they're taking any job they can get their grubby hands on ... even if it means dumping the wages for that job! In the meantime, they will bitch about the crappy wages & probably go on welfare ... using someone else's SSN while screwing that other person!

Illegals are a bane to any nation they infect with the plague of their failure & stupidity.

  • Comprehensive Immigration Reform the right way- *Secure the border. *Enforce existing law. *Make E-verify mandatory. *End birthright citizenship. *Require proof of citizenship or legal status for all benefits including education and health care. *Moratorium on legal immigration for at least 5 years. Limit it to 250,000 annually thereafter *End chain migration. *Emphasize assimilation over multiculturalism. *Focus on skills, capital and ability to contribute.
  • The only "path" an illegal alien deserves is a one-way ticket home.

  • The dream act will be a nightmare for Americans, it should be killed once and for all.

  • illegals should be blocked from everything but emergency medical care.

  • Bob Dane disgusts me with his use of 'illegal aliens'. I commend Tolu for using the term 'undocumented immigrant' which is a much better term. 7:21 LMAO I love his stuttering. Its great how Alyona catches Bob on his contradictions and he completely ignores it.

  • @coolsteven2 They are ILLEGAL ALIENS!!!! And they all should be deported!

  • @Tremleypt 1. They are human beings. 2. A person can't be illegal, they can be doing illegal activity the person themselves can't be illegal. colorlines[.]com/archives/2010/09/enough_already_lets_drop_the_i-word_hate_speech.html

  • @coolsteven2 !. They are filthy 3rd world trash! 2. Look up the word "illegal alien!

Illegal alien children are already recieving a free education from grades 1 - 12 with those cockroaches getting free breakfest/lunch on the USA tax dollar! Now go suck off Kieth Olbermann!

  • @Tremleypt Woah... um End of discussion.

  • @coolsteven2

This isn't a matter of "immigration" - it's a matter of trespassing. Living in America is not a right just because you can walk across the border. Living in America is a privilege & responsibility - it comes by respecting & upholding the Constitution, the law of our land, which says what you must do to be a citizen of this country, & contributing to the society that will lend support right back. FREEDOM IS NOT FREE!

Cut the politically correct BS & start thinking for yourself.

  • @TheTortugaTanker If you haven't watched the video they are trying to help children who practically lived here all their life get citizenship, they aren't talking about future generations or their parents. Btw immigrants/undocument workers contribute MUCH more to the US society because they don't get tax returns, they don't get many of the social services, and corporations are making bigger profit.

  • @coolsteven2

    WRONG!

    July 2010

Some key findings of The Fiscal Burden of Illegal Immigration on US Taxpayers:

$113B in services & benefits to illegals & their families represent an avg cost of $1,117 / yr to households. Costs are higher in states with large illegal alien populations. ~$84.2B absorbed by state & fed'l gov't.

Education is the largest public expenditure @ $52B which is absorbed mostly by state & fed'l gov't

    Source: FAIRUS

  • @coolsteven2

There is the problem. We create exceptions to the rule & everyone starts wanting those exceptions. Illegal is illegal. It's not our fault nor our responsibility that the parents fled their home country & violated immigration laws to get their children benefits they do not deserve. There IS a way they can become entitled to these benefits & it involves OBEYING THE RULE OF LAW! What gives them the right to jump in front of MILLIONS who have waited up to a decade to enter the US?"

  • @coolsteven2 The Dream Act is aimed at illegal immigrants from 16 to 35 that have been in this country (illegally) for at least 5 years. How many people in that targeted group are children? Do you realize that they will AUTOMATICALLY receive a green card? Do you realize that Green card holders can vote in most municipallities? For whom do you think that they would vote for? Can you see why the Dems wanted it to pass and the Repubs blocked it?

  • @prek2phd That's not always true. And theres a bit of a movement to stop the solidarity towards Dems

  • @coolsteven2 The youngest group of the targeted demographic will be 18 in 2012 just in time to use their new green cards to vote. All of the older individuals in the targeted demographic will also be voting with their new green cards. Your position is that, there is a "movement" that will somehow magically transform the gratitude for Democrats to a vote for Republicans that oppose Amnesty. Please explain your reasoning to me.

  • @prek2phd Okay. Well it's the Conservatives' faults for picking fights with all minorities through out history -_-

  • @coolsteven2 I had to investigate your reply, and I am shocked to say that you are absolutely correct!

  • @prek2phd Which response?

  • @coolsteven2 ....Conservatives' fault....through out history

  • @prek2phd

You are wrong. Only citizens can vote.

  • @DifangDuana They would have been citizens by the 2012 vote. Read the actual final version of the bill that was presented to the Senate. INS was given authority to adjust their Naturalization at ANY time. Please Read The Bill. I do not submit posts based on rumors. I have READ THE BILL. Have you taken the opportunity to READ THE BILL? It should not be too difficult to find the bill at online.

  • Under Title 8 Sect 1325 of US Code, "Entry by Illegal Alien" any citizen of any country other than the US who

-Attempts/obtains entry to the US @ any time/place other than designated by immig. officers; or

-Eludes examination/inspection by immig. officers; or

    -Attempts/Obtains entry by willfully false/misleading representation or willful concealment of a material fact;

has committed a FEDERAL CRIME & fined / imprisoned to no more than 6 months. Subsequent violations incur harsher penalties.

  • I have family who had to wait 11 years to come here and now they are doctors.. Illegals gotta apply for citizenship not jump the border..

  • I'm not saying the companies and owners need to be poor also. They just don't need to make 100's of millions or billions in profit every year. They should reinvest into building the company, better benefits or pay for the workers, or lower the price of their product or service. Its the logical and best thing for society and the world. Companies need to quit screwing the planet and all the people!

  • @TheSlaveKeyboardist [They should re... building the company, better benefits or pay for the workers, or lower the price of their product or service] This is impossible with the current mountain of regulation and costs related to it. Joe's Gardening service isn't Mr.greedy because he wants to stay alive as a business for example. And it's the big businesses that are calling for this regulation to keep the little guy little or 0. They are also the ones selling you these socialistic ideas.

  • This whole minimum wage argument is a little stupid. It has nothing to do with illegals. The companies hire them because they'll work for less yes but its because the companie are fucking greedy bastards. I've known illegal workers getting paid well above minimum also. We need to gather them all up and send them back and prevent them from coming here illegaly! Min wage should be increased and companies need profit restrictions. Basiclly spread the wealth among LEGAL citizens!

  • @TheSlaveKeyboardist Even if companies are hiring them at above min wage it is still because it is more economically viable to hire illegals. And it's not because they are greedy but because they can't afford it. And really so far there exists no system yet devised that improves the lot of the common person that can hold a candle to capitalism. Every system is based on greed. Russia was based on greed and China was based on greed even in it's most socialistic form.

  • I'm sorry, but no state or federal benefit should go to those who are not legally here.

One could make a very good argument for immigration reform, but laws are laws. Many US citizens can not afford higher education. Public schools are already being squeezed.

Alyona, We are NOT "creating second class citizens", as they are NOT citizens.

The living conditions they were trying to escape, is creating a second class "society" in the US, not law makers!

  • Is it just me or has everyone forgotten the definition of "illegal alien"? Illegal aliens shouldn't benefit from the system Americans contribute to legally.

  • @Xenda I would be against any benefit but believe denying education is erosion of a society, by giving them no other choice but to turn to crime. Where in turn giving them an education can benefit and the host country would reap the benefits. So far all we have argued is that there are more effective ways of reducing incoming illegals as opposed to pouring money into a corrupt border enforcement. And criminalizing them and employers is making it a crime to act like a human.

  • Another example that a higher wage eliminates jobs is New Jersey. Christie offered teachers unions a decrease of 1 1/2 % in the effort to save jobs. Unions refused and many teachers became unemployed. If they would have accepted the offer they would have made roughly 700$ less a year but all would remain employed.

  • Minimum wage laws are not supporting anyone raising a big family or paying of a mortgage. They are intended for unskilled and entry level jobs. So these laws prevent this sector from entering the job market and attaining higher skills. The criminalized behavior faced with failure or success is to hire illegal aliens Then the illegal is criminalized for being hungry and the employer is a criminal for attempting to survive. Simply removing this law can have an effect of eliminating this "crime".

  • Why the hell is she talking about all this on Russia Today?

  • @ApproachWithCaution Russia Today is directed American directed alternate media. Good to have a viewpoint that opposes the American corporate controlled media. Although you can guarantee they will always cast Israel in a bad light, so they are very biased in that regard.

  • Go MayonR.

You're giving GiantRobot exactly what he needs. A proper education and exposé to the farce of minimum wage being a good thing.

Hopefully he'll walk away a little less indoctrinated.

  • @LordDyhalto

Yeah, and next he'll educate me on how biblical creation is proved by fossils.

You think this baloney is new? People have been opposing the minimum wage since it was created. You can repeat all this theory, but it simply doesn't match up to history and the reality of labor pools. You guys are really something - going on and on about indoctrination. Who's indoctrinated here? You offer theories you didn't invent, with huge gaps in them, and feel smug about it. Whoopie for you.

  • @TheGiantRobot

Yeah, people tend to get angry when they're losing.

  • tell the undocumented illegal alien

several solutions to become a legal alien

come to america with a guardian when said alien are under 18 years old

take the test and EARN your green card

last thing america needs is leeches from mexico killing the middle class by stealing money that would normaly be spent on an american child that did not illegaly get to america

  • I personally know that the border enforcers have no desire to eliminate illegal crossings. The more numbers that cross the more funding they get. In the past decade I have actually crossed the border and have learned many illegals are being helped across the border by agents or are offered low supervised routes. It's all a big scam. There are more effective ways to curb illegal immigration and has to do with laws rather than border enforcement.

  • And schooling is not even logically correct such as 187 because you are preventing an education to those who offer an inherent benefit. 187 would have denied education to illegal children and wouldn't send them back. So it would have created an influx in say criminal behavior such as gangs. Where schooling offers a benefit to the community.

  • I don't think guarding the border and fining businesses who employ illegal immigrants is wrong. I don't think education and assimilation is wrong. I think we have to deal with the illegal immigrants we have in a constructive way AND reduce the flood of new immigrants. Ultimately, if we really want to get immigration under control, we have to clean up our act with Mexico so that everyone isn't trying to escape it.

  • @TheGiantRobot It absolutely is wrong. You are blaming the people reacting to it instead of the people who created it. By doing this you are falling into their hands. In other words any human would react the same way in the same position because it is by design.

  • @MayonR

Which is wrong? And who do you think I'm blaming?

  • @TheGiantRobot You are blaming a people who are simply hungry and your blaming employers who hire lower wage workers who are also just trying to survive in a failing economy. Both can be eliminated by blaming the politicians who created this incentive.

  • @MayonR

I certainly didn't blame hungry immigrants and I didn't blame employers, but I don't advocate waving the laws for both of them. We have minimum wages and we have taxes and we should. We have borders and we should. You want to blame the politicians? Who are they working for? It's either for the public or for special interests. If you are so eager to blame me for something I didn't say, or politicians, maybe look at who really wants it this way before casting blame.

  • @TheGiantRobot Minimum wage is actually a burden despite peoples thought that it keeps wages up. If Min wage was eliminated then it would open up more jobs to people who are willing to do certain jobs for a little less rather than not having a job at all. This would remove the incentive to hire illegals since there would be no need. And this would open up more jobs for students and young people. This would remove the incentive for illegals to cross since there would be no jobs 4them

  • @MayonR

That makes no sense whatsoever. Minimum wage is what keeps the rich from fleecing the working classes even more than they do now. What you are suggesting is turning the U.S. into a third world economy for the sake of the elites. No one else benefits from this.

  • @TheGiantRobot That is the farce. The employer cannot simply offer the lowest pay because there would be no incentive to work their. Another company would offer more and people would flock to tha one. Thats the beauty of allowing the market to function instead of politicians calling the shots. If we allowed this as I have laid out it would be a benefit to our economy instead of paying unemployment to people who are willing to take up some of these offers.

  • @MayonR

This is the same argument made to repeal all sorts of worker's protections and consumer protections. Been there, tried that - it doesn't work. We don't need right wing libertarian philosophy. Look where going to the right has taken us. We need to bring progressive taxes back, overtime protections back, and bring minimum wage up to actual inflation instead of this fake standard.

  • @TheGiantRobot There exist beneficial regulation but min wage is a harmful regulation. Minimum wage has more effect in working to destroy the very business that is supposed to benefit the worker. this happened in Samoa when min wage increased. The tuna industry simply moved out and came back to the mainland and became mechanized. They also lost the benefit of the shipping it offered. Min wage jobs was more disastrous than the tsunami it went through.

  • @TheGiantRobot If this were true then we would have no higher paying jobs. Minimum wage has no effect on higher paying jobs. look how they work. There is no regulation that makes hem pay more it is the demand for employees and the pay is the incentive. Pay to little and there is no incentive to work at all. open up the market by removing this harmful regulation and starving Americans will flock.

  • @MayonR

Wrong. As minimum wage has stagnated, so have working class wages. Working wages are based on the minimum wage. You make the minimum wage zero and you'll see people working for even less, as you said, not more, and they'll be starving and on the street. Or hadn't you noticed what's happening?

And the way to stop export of jobs is tariffs and removing tax breaks for outsourcers, not by reducing U.S. wages to below poverty thresholds.

  • @MayonR I agree with this. The vast majority of jobs pay notably higher than minimum wage (30% higher or more). How can this be? The government doesn't require it. Oh my, maybe when people are left to operate by voluntary consent things can actually turn out well. Sigh. Maybe I'm overly optimistic about my fellow man.

  • @TheGiantRobot I've often wondered this. I pay between $10-20 per hour for my workers (my?). I wonder what would happen if I went in and said "Hey the government says I only need to pay $7.25 per hour so that's the new wage, take it or leave it." I can tell you I'd have zero workers the following day, and I'd only be able to find the dregs of humanity willing to work for that low. You get what you pay for. I try to pay the maximum amount I can because I want to stay competitive.

  • @bluetablepainting

But don't forget that a lot of your competition would be dropping wages. I don't think they would drop drastically because the minimum wage is already way too low to live on, but they would slide - that's why you have people like Mayon lamenting that people can't pay lower.

  • @TheGiantRobot That's the free market. I found by experience (anecdotal "evidence") that raising the wage I offered, even by a few dollars an hour ($320 a month) I got a notably higher quality of person. I would encourage my competition to lower their wages! They will get an inferior quality of work. That's just me, I'm not making some sweeping statement of almighty truth.

  • @bluetablepainting

Right, that's the free market - competition. What you are paying people is based on what others are paying. If you could pay half as much and get the same quality people, you'd do it. Many industries are now paying lower than before because the labor is competing with outsourced jobs.

  • @TheGiantRobot That is a really, really good point. I was thinking "all other things being equal". I do happen to work in a very niche market that happens to have stiff and open competition from Asia. I didn't expect to stay in business very long, but by keeping the quality up it has worked. It also helps that there is not an ocean between me and my clients! I read recently that China is increasing labor standards and pay which is an interesting development. I wonder where that will go.

  • @bluetablepainting

Thanks. Yeah, I've been on both sides of the outsourcing issue. Hiring at low wages and working at low wages due to expanded low wage competition. Big labor pools are good for the hirer and tough on the laborer. Increased labor standards in China will mean higher prices and of course an effort to outsource to somewhere even cheaper.

  • @bluetablepainting

Oh, cool business you have. I used to meticulously paint my lead dungeons and dragons miniatures. They are like gold to me. Hope it keeps going well for you.

  • @TheGiantRobot [Right, that's the free market - competition.] The free market isn't in essence based on competition. It is more affected by demand. So the demand of higher skilled workers is what would increase wages. Competition simply encourages higher quality. Supply of workers and demand for them would determine the wages. But workers will also reach a point where it is more viable to not work than be payed too little.

  • @TheGiantRobot American Samoa is a glaring example of what happens when you increase min wage. it has made half the jobs disappear. Their economy was devastated with a single piece of legislation. It demonstrates that min wage laws makes entry level or low skilled labor uneconomical. this shows good intentions don't always have good results. Govt meddling into an economy can destroy it.Besides in this case it makes illegal aliens more viable than domestic workers who are left unemployed.

  • @MayonR

Again, what you are suggesting is that wages should be lowered to compete with the lowest paid sectors in the world. That is insane. Any government that operates like that is doing so for the corporate elites and turning its back on the citizens. They have to implement tariffs or eventually the country won't be able to stand on it's own. I don't know why I'm talking to you, you'll never get this.

  • @TheGiantRobot Well first I was suggesting that min wage creates incentive to hire illegals. And my real life examples are a demonstration that wages are determined by market forces rather than determined by competition with other countries. The determination to lower wages in Jersey was based on the economic ability to keep these people employed. Since they did not take the offer, the market determined they couldn't support all the workers at that cost.Increasing unemployment.

  • im glad there blocking them

  • If you reward something, you get more of that thing (whatever it is).

  • @bluetablepainting You are absolutely wrong. If more could see this, than maybe it is a start in having an actual effect.

  • @bluetablepainting I meant your completely right, that was a typo.

  • @MayonR Sweeet! Seriously, this just made my day. It made me laugh out loud.

  • Its very simple its they are here illeagly they desrve no rights or government funds! A lot of countries are hard to legally immagrate to, we should be one of the most!

  • @TheSlaveKeyboardist If you are referring to education than it is not about who deserves what, but about what the end result is going to be. Declining education to the cream of the crop just makes them available to another country or just restricts a highly intelligent people to a country. Why would you want to prevent something that is actually good for your country/

  • I love this " undocumented " talk. They are "Illegal" and with that they dont have the right to anything but a free ride to the ICE office.

  • sounds good, block them from public k-12 also

go after their jobs also, arrest them and the employers who hire them

  • The immigrants will get their right soon or later!

  • @goru426 they are invaders not immigrants
