Not all carpets, drapes, etc. are made of oil. But, avoiding oil while increasing consumption of other toxic substances or polluting products seems like a bad idea. Perhaps you could find items that are made in a truly clean and efficient manner and promote them specifically.

Hemp oil is far superior to the toxic petroleum, and gives us plastic that is biodegradable. Hemp also is a source for paper, clothing, building materials, diesel fuel, and can make panels that are 10 times stronger than steel.

alot of those things listed are not made of oil, plastics are made from nat gas. the reason things that truly are made from crude , is for reason to not having to use other things that cost more than oil or are rare or expenisve to produce. we would not have many things if not for plastics not to mention they last longer hence saving energy in the long run . enviro wacko's don't think past the nose on their face and cause more damage than they try to save.

@GreenopolisTV I worked in a plastics factory and went through the in house ( finished all of phase 1 and 2 out of 5 to become a plastics engineer. almost all plastics are made from nat gas.
