  • But Stratocaster Bob! That's not a stratomacaster!

  • Exelente

  • Mini Humbuckers? i dont know why they build them in that les paul....i think there is enough space for normal humbuckers so where is the sense of the minis?

  • @socccero It is routed for P-90's

  • @socccero Mini Humbuckers give the Les Paul Deluxe a brighter sound than standard sized Humbuckers on a Les Paul Standard or Custom but only about 75% of the volume .They were designed for the player who would also favour EG Teles or similar .I have always enjoyed listening to Scott Gorham and Brian Robertson playing Deluxes on several of Thin Lizzy's classic albums. An example of the in-between option on a Deluxe that is brilliant is on a song called 'This Is The Day' by Captain Beefheart .

  • that's some GREAT "borrowing!"

  • koooool freezer kool

  • well mate, what i have to say about your solo is that u need speed practice, and another thing i saw is that u need to do a scale shape training ok? iam a guitarrist i know what iam saying bye bye

  • me suena a funk blues D:

  • if your youtube name is stratocaster bob then why do you use a gibson ? Just asking?

  • Comment removed

  • @3763Anthony i might be wrong, but the reason could be that the licks stratocasterbob is playing are from an album that clapton played his 1960 "beano" les paul on...that might also explain the "borrowed" bit. anyhow, nice playing!

  • Mr. Clapton, stop disguising yourself!

  • Did anyone noticed it has mini humbuckers?... just saying.

  • @Macsk8ing i believe it's a Gibson Les Paul Deluxe...discontinued model but i think there are reissues available nowadays

  • Beautiful finish on that les paul

  • that's a brilliant hat.

  • man i love that guitar.. sounds so clear.. check mine out and comment too guys thanks.. youtube.com/watch?v=Psii4n2oRXU&feature=channel_video_title

  • me gusta bastante mas ke los covers de hendrix i santana ke as exo

  • @ArtemArtak Estos son videos viejos de mi .... mis nuevos son mucho mejores!

  • i love your style man ! nice job

  • why p90's in a les paul..........

  • @fenderboy08 theyre mini humbuckers man.

  • @gromshit101 ohhhh aight that makes more sense...... nice job anyways

  • @fenderboy08 they are mini humbuckers.... not p90s.

  • hey, throw some more overdrive and reverb on that tone. its so hollow it pains me. otherwise, fantastic playing!

  • nice hat

  • is this an Epiphone or a Gibson i was thinking of getting an epiphone standard ultra does anyone know if its a good guitar or not? is there alot of difference between epi and Gibson?

  • @mtbxcfreak I own an Epiphone Les Paul Standard and its by far the best guitar i've ever had.. The most ive played on a Gibson is at the guitar showroom where i picked up my epiphone.. Gibsons have name but they are too over-priced IMO.. Sound wise there would a difference.. however if you have good pick ups on your epiphone your good to go.. but in the end it all depends on your price range.. If you can afford a Gibson don't look the other way! =)

  • @attu89 thanks for putting some effort into writing a comment that long lol. really appreciate it cheers ryan

  • stratocasterbob hopped to lespaul

  • weird. just weird.

  • AMAZING JAM DUDE....!!!

  • @MrMultipippo hey have a look at my blues jam. would be nice if u left some feedback :)

i only did one take and im fairly happy with it

    watch?v=QTzk95PSeL0

  • what kind of les paul is that?which year?

  • @riquelme64 its a Gibson Les Paul from 1979 :)

  • this is the blues. without the blues.

try putting some heart in it.

  • dude you kinda look like Hunter S Thompson

  • ???

  • Nice one!!! Great lines and great feel man!!!

    Gotta love those 9 chords

    Andy Turner - "andturnermusic"

  • what chords? do you use here.

  • Your username is stratocasterbob, and yet you're playing an LP....I giggle at this.

  • @Scarbacca07 That's called talent!

  • i can only say get ur chops up

  • you're f*kking geniousXD

  • @woutertje23 Wie ben ik om niet mee eens? Ik probeer nederig te zijn en anderen niet belachelijk maken. :)

  • nice video :)

  • nice hat!

  • nice only problem is this isn't cream style this is eric clapton after cream

  • nice bob. stratocaster hahaha. its not even a fender. im dissapointed

  • sounds pretty tinny for a Les Paul.

  • @jimih64 thats probably more the amp then anything

  • 79 deluxe =D niceee!! cool tone BTW

  • Les Paul?! sounds great what model is it? it almost sounds as good as a strat ;) Good playing though keep it up!

  • the strat will always rule all! :))

  • I'm w/ u dude! the strat is THE BEST guitar!

  • Yeah, in certain aspects, but crikeys different axes for different applications bro. A strat don't work anywhere near as good as a say, a Les Paul for crunchy hard rock.

  • twangy sound... sounds strat-like

  • @renagade12 ....It's the mini humbuckers. They aren't as thick as the full size.

  • I used to own the Les Paul Deluxe, (cherry sunburst) but couldn't really take to the small humbuckers, and had to revert to the Les Paul Custom with the 'regular' humbuckers as I missed the more meaty tones.

    Nice playing.

  • know what you mean - it actually sounds more like a strat

  • 5 stars, cuz u are sexy beast

  • loosen up

  • Thanks Bob

  • ahi just love the look of that guitar, check out my jam video if u have time...

  • hey nice playing but u should keep it in a clean tone, it sounds weird.

  • fantastic man! watch my blues improvisation too!!

  • You play very well man and have a fantastic guitar (someday i'll have my les paul too), but that sounds too much funk you know. It's kind a soul mixed with blues... but anyway, you're a good player!!!

  • amazing playing and very nice guitar !!

  • Many Thanks ! :)

  • Sounds just like JohnMayhall...epic.. i link it to that willie and the hand jive type sound

  • Thanks for checking out the video ! :)

  • @doolbro hey have a look at my blues jam. would be nice if u left some feedback :)

i only did one take and im fairly happy with it

    watch?v=QTzk95PSeL0

  • Bob, I just happened on your videos today while searching for something (which I have now forgotten). You really appear to have "researched" the different music types. Your playing is excellent, and damn, I love the costuming.

    Allan

  • Thanks Allan, yes you are one of a small few that recognise that...These riffs came from several early Clapton sources like BluesBreakers and Cream!

  • Did you rip out the p-90s and put those mini humbuckers in your Les Paul?

  • No, they came with the LesPaul ! :)

  • Dude, nice chops, and nice vintage LP!

  • Thanks Lee ! :)

  • nice deluxe dude i got a 82 custom and nothing sounds better than a vintage gibson nice to a fellow player with the vintage style

  • Thanks....Oh the custome is such a fabulous guitar !!! On My Wish List !!! :)

  • Cool! Minihumbuckers, right? They always sound so deliciously funky? :D

  • Yes, the Gibson LesPaul Deluxe models feature minihumbuckers...alittle brighter than a standard humbucker!

  • Hazardous high notes,- you are cool, Bob!

  • Thanks Wilfried ! I'm waiting for some more cool video from you! :)

  • cool,

you don;t see to many guitars like this one,

i have one epiphone in the same colors and i love it, very good cover as well, keep playing

  • Thanks ! :)

  • good one Bob, blooooz needs to be played slowly and with feeeeeeeeeeeling

  • Thanks....the blues had a baby and they named it "rock and roll" :) Your point is well taken !

  • i normally play metal and hard stuff but you are a genius sir,

    amen to myself.
