@The4buster Don't over take protein powder, some research say it will cause kidney stone. In general, 1g of protein powder for each kg of your body weight is a safe start (i believe you can take more if you work out).

i disagree with this bloke when he says that you need to eat 6 tasteless meals a day. i eat 3 meals a day with delicious tasting stuff like arabic (pita) whole wheat bread, some chicken fajita grilled pieces, some hummus (tehini), tabasco sauce and a tiny bit of ketchup and lots of lettuce. very delicious and you can shred fat.
there are a lot of healthy meals that taste delicious. you just won't find them in your restaurant or fast food.

This comment is to scooby and to people who would be watching a fitness video. I used to smoke weed everyday sometimes multiple times a day for like 8 months. I also did cocaine like 15 to 20 times. I also did extasy 4 times. They were the biggest mistakes and I don't do these things anymore. How bad will those things effect me trying to get into shape? I'm 19 btw and started hanging out with the wrong crowd once out of highschool.

Simply add a decent amount of cinnamon before you heat it up. Cut up some apples and add those after you've heated the oatmeal. It's healthy, and tastes surprisingly well. Better than oatmeal + protein powder in my opinion. I don't use protein powder for this particular meal, but if you really feel that you need more protein you can just make a shake and drink it before you eat the oatmeal :)

amen... It is all about output of more calorie then you intake = weight loss... which is why working out in a gym helps people who otherwise do not do any physical activities.... IF you play soccer, or a sport... you do not even need to go to the gym because you are burning calories. There is no right ammount of food to eat for people who do NO physical activity.. that is the problem... IF you are not burning any calories, you cannot create a deficit.... Take a walk, do jumping jacks, something.

Cardio and watch fat intake. But eat good fats like ones found in oils. Make smart choices know what's going in your body. Like choose skim milk instead of 2% less fat more protein. Because we all have fat on our stomach we will want to burn it off to achieve a six pack. But if we continue to eat foods with fat than the body will store it on top of your body. fat is in between the skin and muscle so thinning it will expose the muscle more.

Well when they say that they mean like the protein is sorta incomplete because proteins are made with amino acids and beans are missing some. Proteins are like a puzzle some come with all the pieces and some don't. If you complete the puzzle then you get a good protein. If you have a supplement or eat another protein that can bond with the beans like peanuts then you'll be alright. I know a lot of Vegan bodybuilders.
I'm trying to get a hold and such on working out. I am new to this, and at the moment I am doing pushups, ab crunches, bicep curls, tricep bent over rows, mountain climbers and some other bodyweight cardio. Like I said I am just starting out, I am totally in the dark on food, so working on that. My previous diet of oatmeal, sandwiches, celery, carrots, and baked potatoes prob wasnt the best.
i highly recmoend p90x... it will kick the ass of even seasoned GYM goers.. P90x will not only build muscle, but workout your heart and lungs too, do not be discouraged if you cant make it threw half of a video a day haha.. it comes with a diet.. they guarentee results in 90 days, and i have seen it done
where are your calories?? Mixed veggies and oatmeal is nothing.. from what you showed you are barely eating like 1500 cal a day.. that is no where near what you should be eating. Looks to me like you are a ball of WHEY powder. Because you put a scoop in everything. I have to eat like 330 cal PER MEAL. A bowl of veggies and sauce is like 150 cal.. maybe not even that.

Sort of true and sort of not. I use to intake high amounts of Soy Protein because I heard of the high aminos and low cholestrol and fat in them but then I realize I was getting skinnier and lost my quality muscle mass so now I only take low amounts to none of soy for my protein source and I now take get my protein from mostly Lean Meats, and lean dairy and I'm getting very good results.

i have 2 important question: considering i wieght 65 kg and i need like 141 gr of protein per day:
a) this meals has protein.. so, what is the protein powder for? (for the ones that wight more, and need to incorporate more protein?)
b) if someone weights 100 kg, how the hell you incorporate 3300 cal in 6 meals with this kind of meals if the are no more than 400 cal per each?
400 gr x 8 = 3200, even eating 8 times a day doesnt reach it. so, do i have to eat 2 different meals in 1 meal?

You could buy cucumbers for example and make yourself a fresh cucumber salad.
Cucumbers can be stored for over a week in your fridge.
All you need is a dressing which you can buy or mix it yourself.
And to cut the cucumber takes only a few seconds if you have a rasp.

frozen vegetables are not too bad.
they have 90 % of the vitamins of fresh vegetables because they're harvested fresh and frozen immediately aver being harvested.
but canned vegetables have only 50% of the vitamins of fresh vegetables.
but you don't have to worry about getting enough vitamins, because as a bodybuilder you eat a lot more than an average person to get enough calories.
when you eat more you also get more vitamins an minerals, so you don't need to worry about.

i would say just chillax and have a yummy, juicy turkey burger with fat free cheese and fat free mayo...on whole wheat bread, some tabasco sauce and lettuce...its absolutely delicious...it tastes great...and yes, the burger has 17g fat...but it has 30g protein and is all natural...look it up in your grocer. i shred my body fat just eating this meal regularly and protein shake (after workout).

I dont understand why scooby is eating so healthy meals. If he doesnt trying to lose weight, he can increase the amount of food he eating regardless of what it is, and never gain weight as long as he keep exercising.
When you come down to your target weight, you no longer have to diet anymore. All you have to do is keep exercising, and you will never gain weight.

Keep in mind, the day this man stops working out, or does not keep up his protein levels by crashing his liver with protein shakes, all of this muscle will turn to fat, and the stretched skin from the building will remain.. Everyone wants this body builder look, but they do not consider the damage it will do long term.. since it is not sustainable, unless you are willing to commit to this lifestyle all of your days.. in that case you will inevitably deal with compliactions.

amen... It is all about output of more calorie then you intake = weight loss... which is why working out in a gym helps people who otherwise do not do any physical activities.... IF you play soccer, or a sport... you do not even need to go to the gym because you are burning calories. There is no right ammount of food to eat for people who do NO physical activity.. that is the problem... IF you are not burning any calories, you cannot create a deficit.... Take a walk, do jumping jacks, something.

Weight gain/loss is gradual and slow. Just keep eating some more food than you normally do, and you will gain weight. It just takes time.

Cardio and watch fat intake. But eat good fats like ones found in oils. Make smart choices know what's going in your body. Like choose skim milk instead of 2% less fat more protein. Well when they say that they mean like the protein is sorta incomplete because proteins are made with amino acids and beans are missing some. Proteins are like a puzzle some come with all the pieces and some don't. If you complete the puzzle then you get a good protein. If you have a supplement or eat another protein that can bond with the beans like peanuts then you'll be alright. I know a lot of Vegan bodybuilders.

I am new to this, and at the moment I am doing pushups, ab crunches, bicep curls, tricep bent over rows, mountain climbers and some other bodyweight cardio. Like I said I am just starting out, I am totally in the dark on food, so working on that. My previous diet of oatmeal, sandwiches, celery, carrots, and baked potatoes prob wasnt the best.

where are your calories?? Mixed veggies and oatmeal is nothing.. from what you showed you are barely eating like 1500 cal a day.. that is no where near what you should be eating. Looks to me like you are a ball of WHEY powder. Because you put a scoop in everything. I have to eat like 330 cal PER MEAL. A bowl of veggies and sauce is like 150 cal.. maybe not even that.

Sort of true and sort of not. I use to intake high amounts of Soy Protein because I heard of the high aminos and low cholestrol and fat in them but then I realize I was getting skinnier and lost my quality muscle mass so now I only take low amounts to none of soy for my protein source and I now take get my protein from mostly Lean Meats, and lean dairy and I'm getting very good results.
