Your stupid man, first of all when my clk 550 was stock it tore evos apart. The torque in the 550 is rediculous, it is faster than a clk 55 amg. More hp and torque than the 55 amg also. And second, man that evo is a little rice rocket, like a toy i can buy at toys r us, when u wanna mess with the big boys get atleast a 40,000 dollar car. atleast..... and to the people talkin about their modded evos, come find me in la, i will tear u apart with my clk, stage 2 kleemann kompressor kit

@icedoutclk i don't know who this coment is directed towards but i am the clk550 owner, and yes a stock evo can't hang with a clk550 at all i beat them easily.

in a straight line yes. On a race track with actual turns, the clk550 would be in another zip code. Both are good cars and have there advantages.

@sikkstreets Thats a valid point, however, this is also evident on twisty roads. because of the weight of the engine, most of the weight lies over the front wheels, thats why most non amg v8 mercedes are very prone to understeer. The Evo is much more of a drivers car, although I also wouldnt get one now because i am a bit to old to drive around with a park bench on my trunk, but as i said before both good cars. I liked the really low end torque of the 550, felt like an old muscle car.

this evo is not even tuned how is he a bad driver? stock evo and even with few mods and no tune can't hang with a CLK550.

He is from tristate evo and one of the guys there has a fully built 9 sec evo.

Dude the CLK 550 is a 13.5 second some quarter mile car man I just don't understand how you would tear up a EVO 9? lol that shyt is a 13.3 second car some people have even done 12.9

lol this is a "ROLL VIDEO" evos are fast off the line, you cannot beat the displacement of 5.5L V8 on a roll especial top end.

@flodhi1 your only mentioning time, you forget about trap speed. The clk550 has a higher trap speed, stock for stock. If both cars started from a standstill and the evo drops the clutch, it would take the clk to 0-60, no question, that just shows how good the evos all wheel drive system is. however, when you start from a roll in a drag race with no turns, that all wheel drive system turns into a 200 lb liability.
