Yeah electricity is cool, I'd drive an all electric, if it was all electric and would really save me the money and take highways, and there was a way to re-juice it for long road trips. I will miss the sound from internal combustion engines if they are ever replaced though.
tons of batteries that use loads of energy to power and take ages and when your charge them you get the electricity from big 'runing the world' companys that polute the fuck out the place..am sorry this thing is indeed fast but it isnt the future
@ishagedurmum not to mention that you could very well get that energy free from the sun in your back yard that what electric means you don't have to wait for some arab to sell you some petrol
Electric vehicles might be better and all that, but when you start racing them, the pointlessness of racing becomes way too obvious, theres so little varible, and its just not very exciting, its just like watching a guy ride something down the track, not race something down the track
Looks scary haha its cool too but i don't understand would these things cost more then normal cars too manufacture and also is there a electric car that can go a farther distance then a normal one?
Their not the future. This "technology" is years and years old. Electric vehicles don't HAVE to be slow but to get any usuable run time out of it they do.
I get tired of ignorant negative comments. A123 Li-Ion Nano Phosphate Battery have not been around for "years and years". It's the kw/kg ratio and the 50C discharge rate of these batteries that make this the WORLDS FASTEST EV.
ignorant? I've built EVs buddy. Trust me. We have a LONG way to go. No doubt it's getting better just like gas engines went from 35% efficient to 40% efficient. -awesum-
40%... you're talking about a Diesel Pal, petrol is barely 30%, not including transmission losses.
Sure, there is a LONG way to go (which spells opportunity to me)and the twin DC motors and zilla controller in this bike are low tech, but the batteries are the next generation, can you imagine this performance being possible with 28 lead acid batteries on board? Want to see the future of EVs have a look at my other videos on wheel motors!
YES you are right. The best way to convince people like this is tell them to 'look into the history books'. Sure when the 'Horseless carrige' came out it was laughed at. Carrige drivers laughed at it cos it cold only go 10mph and had to be hand started. Rebuked with comments like 'my horse feeds itself!'...'I dont need to start my horse!' [Refering to crankstarts on early motor cars]. Look in archives of old news/publications. Sure EVs still have a way to go but the gap is closing fast 168Mph
Lithium is only an intermediate technology. If we were to equip all and every vehicle with lithium batteries, there would not be enough lithium in the world. We have to keep searching for other technologies as well.

@ishagedurmum Loads of energy? It uses 500 wh per run......... that's the energy equivalent of 1/73 rd of a gallon of gasoline!
tsport100 11 months ago 12
@tsport100 i ment it takes loads to charge it etc and the electricity usually come from big gas companys and shit

Nitrous guys? People are trying to use that as fuel now?
hjjfffaa 2 years ago
@hjjfffaa have been for a while and it works better then gas

@xXJeReMiAhXx99
Nitrous can't be used as a fuel, you moron.
hjjfffaa 1 year ago
@hjjfffaa wow ur smart i know u cant use 100% but u can use like 90% or what ever
xXJeReMiAhXx99 1 year ago

Nitrous isn't flammable, fucktard.
hjjfffaa 1 year ago
@hjjfffaa lol i thought we where talking about nitro as in nitromethane not nitrous so never mind, i guess i need a little more sleep -_- sorry

Meh Chevy is still dawdling around on the Volt. I wouldn't count on it being any good.

This Battery powered drag bike holds the ELECTRIC VEHICLE WORLD RECORD 7.82 @ 168 MPH
tsport100 3 years ago
watch this:
Scotty Pollacheck's 6.95 sec 195 mph pass
I think this is the new record
bguo68 3 years ago
Nope...
That video was posted in April 07 and it's a Nitro bike not EV.

Gas engines are 0% efficient at idle, and only PEAK at 35%. Good electric motors [like in the Tesla] are 80% average, 90% peak.
It's really all in the batteries, and once lithium gets cheap, they'll be perfect.

We've all read the 'analyst' reports in the news that are calculated to perpetuate yet another 'shortage' to send commodity prices higher.
The truth is Lithium is the 33rd most common element on earth, hardly 'rare'!

Poor Tesla...if they just listen him...electric(power) will be free today.
