Yes I believe that God can heal the sick. I met this guy in the hospital many years ago while visiting someone I knew who got shot. I laid hands on this guy with my friend and prayed for him. He looked retarted when I saw him. I went back to see him a few weeks later and he was getting ready to leave the hospital. I found out later that he had been in a motorcycle accident. I did not take any credit for what happened and never will.

Yes I believe that God can heal the sick. I met this guy in the hospital many years ago while visiting someone I knew who got shot. I laid hands on this guy with my friend and prayed for him. He looked retarted when I saw him. I went back to see him a few weeks later and he was getting ready to leave the hospital. I found out later that he had been in a motorcycle accident. I did not take any credit for what happened and never will.

Your entire point seems to be that you should not respect the beliefs of others because they are not your beliefs. I was raised in church. But I am truly embarassed and disgusted by all these religious cults. I have a relationship with God, so I don't need to commune with cul members. It's sickening! Especially nowadays. It's not every church, but most and I've been to many that claim to heal the sick. God and only God can do that. I don't believe in prophets in 2007. Let's be real for a second. God is almighty, but we are not. We are just human.

I was raised pentecostal, and practiced pentecostal holiness for 24 years of my life. Growing up this all seemed normal - the falling out in the spirit, speaking in tongues, and a belief in performing miracles. Now that I am no longer involved in that form of religion I realize how crazy it is. Years later watching a show on TV about voodoo I realized how much in common pentecostal religions have with voodoo. Crazy!

"Healing" is simply the immune system doing its job--in fact, MOST of the time our bodies are successful in defeating such outside threats. No supernatural intervention required.

Unless any of these pastors have a PHD, I wouldn't trust them to heal a billy goat. Organizations like TBN and their supporters such as Benny Hinn and the like make millions of dollars a year that could help fund medical technology or provide the means necessary to supply 3rd world countries with fair amounts of medicines and otherwise. Instead, it goes to Benny Hinns extensive car collection in (one of) his three story houses. This is the uniform for all "power healers" or "faith healers".
