  • lmao !! Where do they get them ? Even my 10 year old son knows better than that. Just wow......

  • Hey, a while back you friend requested ne on YouTube and I accepted, subscribed, and the like. But just now after seeing this video, am wondering, do you live in NC? Cause there is a CompUSA and a Sam ash right next to each other on capital boulevard in Raleigh that I go to all the time, just like the one in this video. If im wrong I'm going to look really stupid so sorry if I am.

  • @quesadillafication lol yup that was the store in this video :)

  • about to get nerdier, flash was actually made by MACROMEDIA

  • @qabandiman yup I know that. It was created by macromedia. But adobe bought them some years back so its made by adobe now :)

  • LOL I heard a Walmart rep helping an old lady make a purchase decision about a new computer there and he was like, "Oh yeah, RAM doesn't matter. You don't even really need that, so don't worry about that." lol I wanted to say something, too, but didn't.

  • @godrox Well, I guess it depends how the conversation went. To most people it doesn't matter how much they have, whatever option is being sold is probably enough. That being said its not like you can run your computer without any so if thats what they meant then lol.

  • @Urgo6667 Yeah, that's what he meant. Like, "Oh, you don't need RAM in your computer anyway." #fail

  • LOL! I would've been dieing in that other aisle, listening to that. How hard is it to NOT walk around the corner and say, "Umm, excuse me?"

I remember when they bombed and Tiger bought them out, and I've had the impression since that it wasn't such a good move on Tiger's part.

  • @anmoose Yeah I almost did a few times but I kept my mouth shut =]

  • nothing quite like a well informed knowlegable sales assistant to help you with your purchase :-)

  • @nothingfunnyleft haha yep. Makes me feel a lot better when I'm in a store where I don't know about the product I want to buy... Good thing we have smart phones!

  • That's like the circuit city that used to be near me. You would go in and you could never find help and when you did find someone that wasn't hid in the stock room henterland they had the iq of a goat every question i'd ask they would say naaaa.I'm not glad when most places go under but when they did I was happy.

  • @bearchay889 Yeah I'm glad we still have the store but seriously their employees need a bit more training or the smarts to keep their mouths shut =]

  • Yeah, no CompUSA near us anymore. Perhaps this is the reason! LOL

  • @Illuminatta Is that microcenter still open? Thats better store then compusa anyway :)

  • @Urgo6667 Don't know. Hey, I got the Razr. It's on its way. After really comparing against the nexus, I decided having ICS before anyone else wasn't that important, especially since the Razr will be upgradable to it soon. I really like the look and feel of the Razr better. Anyway, they are both good phones. I did decide against the iphone. ALMOST got that. :)

  • I believe they must still do a computer knowledge test of their applicants: if you pass your NOT hired. lol

  • @BBROTANGO hahaha

  • Yeah, you really should have started shooting the video while you corrected the guy for being completely incompetent. Sadly, I think these manufacturers keep pushing the marketing of Flash support as a prime feature of their devices, which it is not. I think I've used flash all of perhaps 3 times on my Android phone and tablet. It's still vastly superior to any iCrap due to its openness. That's what they should be pushing the ignorant sales clerks to talk about! Oh well.

  • @hackel137 Even though my nexus one had flash support I didn't install it because it took up too much room. I never really needed it. It's nice to have in my pocket on my galaxy nexus though.

  • Wow, how witty of you. Heading back to the car and making a video about how much more you know then the kid making minimum wage at the CompUSA and laughing behind his back.

  • @MS3FGX It wasn't a kid and how much the person makes has nothing to do with this. If you work in a tech store and give advice to customers you should know what you're talking about and not make stuff up. You'd be equally upset I'm sure if you went to a restaurant and ordered something and got something completely different.

  • @Urgo6667 Do you believe the customers will be unhappy with their purchase when they discover that, in fact, it is Adobe that develops Flash and not Google?

  • Wow, I am by no means tech savvy, but even I knew that!

  • @SarahsAdventures Good job! :)

  • I see you put your P.O. box on your comments- maybe I could send you a gift :)

  • @caramoonlynn You're more then welcome to :) Preemptive thanks if you do!

  • I dont have a CompUSA near me or Tiger Direct. I ordered computer parts from them twice BUT never again! I have a money card and only keep a very low amount on the card. I saw Instant Coupon discounts I liked made the order. They Charged my card the FULL amount without the coupon discount and my card rejected the orders because there was not enough on the card. They explained AFTER the sale THEN they reimburse the coupon amount back to the card. I stay with NewEgg who gives instant discounts.

  • @ImTheDaveman yeah I normally buy stuff from newegg too but I like browsing in store as well and newegg doesn't have a shop.

  • lol!

  • @dannerzme :)

  • Reminds me of Fry's Electronics. Some of their salespeople are pretty ignorant also.

  • @ssurjap I wish we had a Fry's :(

  • Thats worse than the clerk that said "hp is going under" (the day before hp announced they are keeping their pc wing) FAIL

  • @gundambob646 Well HP is flip flopping like crazy these days. Can't fault anyone there. Their CEO is bipolar I think :)

  • @Urgo6667 Oh for sure. Hps staff don't even know. My friends father works at HP canada doing server security and they still think they are losing the pc wing.

  • If CompUSA was run like that in the past, no wonder they went under.

  • @thunderhayes exactly =]

  • It's the same here in Germany, don't ask the employees of the big stores. The answers are... yeah :D

  • @waterwebdesign some stores are decent, but I was just laughing at how bad these answers were lol.

  • ...Good lord...

  • @hadlab i know right lol
