These are super. What sort of wood do you use please? I think Lime is the same as basswood but I can't get any here (N. Ireland). I have loads of Ash and Laurel.

Brendan I just use Lime wood. Fortinately I have a sawmill 30 miles away that stocks it! :)
Packs of Basswood can be bought from model/ craft shops. Laurel and Ash would be a bit hard too grainy for knife work IMHO. But hey, give it a go!
