Shit poor comparison. First of all there's no 1080 comparison, secondly there's not one frame even remotely in sync between each video. No texture for texture comparison and small boxed screens. Lastly, of course you're not going to see a difference on a video the size of a mobile phone's screen. Also, the scenes in general were poorly chosen and was PC even on high in DX11? My specs are Amd Phenom II x6 at 3.9ghz with a radeon hd 6670 2gb graphics card and 16gb ram. You obviously don't know what your talking about saying that the pc has the best color. Even when I play it on ultra the graphics match ps3 graphics. The look the same but pc just has better render distance so graphics look better at far distances, but at close their the same.
@greenlime14 i actually do know what im talking about... im just saying, ps3's have an issue with saturation in the colors. Its a known issue with PS3's. all you had said was HDMI led, i didn't know you had a new vizio. my vizio fixed that issue with my PS3 when i had it.

I agree with Fury, I cant see a diffrence. I dont really care about the graphics when it comes to gaming. The PC Version has more to offer thats why I love it too. When I play I never focuse on graphics but the gameplay itself and how Im gonna manouver or use tactics.
Something I've noticed, PS3 version takes alot of time to load the textures because it's not installable, if you want my advice, buy the downloadable version, because reading the game from an HDD is always faster than an optical disk, even if it's Blu-Ray, look at the xbox 360 version after installing it... BEAUTY! but in graphics(otherwise textures) they're 99.99% the same. of course because of the HUD lol. making them 100% the same.
I have BF3 for Ps3 and my new PC (I can play on Ultra settings). And PC graphics are way much better than on Ps3. You can not see it in the Video but there is a HUGE difference.

PS3 has a trauma effect on singleplayer only, which sacrifices other settings. So take the 360 version because you're going to play 10x more online (plus there is a lot of lag on the sony entertainment network)

PC obviously, and for those who say you need "a £2000 PC," well, you don't. BF3 isn't a demanding game, a 2.4GHz dual core with 4gb ram and at least a GTX560 would run the game fine on about medium settings, and that's still better than a console, they play the game on low (which still looks really good, for some reason) PS3 and Xbox, I can't really tell the difference, although there are some minor details the Xbox is missing that the PS3 version has, but it's the same game, why argue?

Best way I can describe it is ps3 version is like playing pc.version in sd. Not hd. Its blurry clunky and slow but then I have pc version set to 130 field of view. Also maps online have more vehicles and flags. Just better all round. Ihave both pc and ps3 versions. Ps3 is very buggy also

You shouldn't judge anything by this video because you probably won't see any different. Let me tell you, I have the PS3 version and the PC version and the ps3 version looks worst than even the PC version on LOW(its the lowest quality the game has to offer and it usually made for lowend cheap PCs) and that's when i'm playing on a 50 inch plasma TV.

The graphics are hardly different from what I see and even if they are you are not going to care much if you play it more on one system. So all the fanboys below me (mostly ps3 fanboys) are a disgarce to gaming and can suck my left nut.
I've played on xbox and ps3, and the ps3 is much better. Better AA, shadows, and textures. Not to mention that there is only one disc and loading is MUCH faster. (Before any of you fuckfaces out there call me a fanboy, I sold my ps3 and I play on xbox a lot more now, but now pc dominates my gaming schedule.)

texture popping.. that's low ram. Ram is the biggest issue, followed by old GPU's.. The CPU's aren't in that bad shape at all, they'd still have years left before they fall of the cliff.
It isnt really the graphics themselves we want to be looking that because the extra stuff on PC On ultra cant really be seen on a youtube video, but if you have played BF3 on both console and PC you will notice how much smoother it runs because console has capped FPS because for a game like this if the FPS wasnt capped the fans would have to work too hard so for console Dice had to tone done the graphics a bit.
Every one known hands down pc has best graphics as far as resolution, lighting, and effects, but they all look almost identical. Thanks to ps3, which is specifically designed from the ground up to display an HD image and to bu-ray having 5x the space than of a dvd to fit the textures it needs. Why do they look almost identical? Of course the xbox 360 uses dvd and also the pc, but to the GPU on xbox360 and any pc GPU outperforms the ps3's gpu.
@MrViper7121 But the PS3 was designed to process the game by the GPU and the cell processor. Most developers just use the GPU, that's why most PS3 game looks worse than the xbox.
The only MAJOR difference is the motion blur on PC which is unfortunate as for why they couldn't include it in the consoles probably because of the XBOX 360 capabilities i mean admit it, PS3 is more powerful and has better exclusives as they are designed for PS3 but they didnt design BF3 for PS3 which is why it is not as good as PC, look at some PS3 exclusives like GT5 Amazing graphics and Resistance FoM and 2 with 64 player online and MAG which 360 cant handle.

It would lag like crazy. That's because the PS3 is so unusual in its architecture that if you want to utilize 100%of its power, its obligated to be an exclusive. If its a multiplatforme game, the most dev can get is maybe 60%. If you ask me, its kind of stupid of sony to do that, but hey, I don't create consoles.

If you have the texture pack installed it sort of "caches" data onto the hard drive making it look a little better on close up objects. I have a nice gaming PC but I don't often play in 720p or 1080p because it's usually not hooked up to anything but my 15" Dell LCD lol :P

The xbox looks like a low end p.c on the highest resolution settings with no AA on, it`s typical rough bottom end p.c graphics, and thats what it is these days, it is 6 years old after all, but the ps3 has its own style, which pulls off a nice job, and when put on a large screen looks smoother and more like a console with its own mark, Over all the ps3 has better graphics,sound and features, xbox has better control pad, and the voice over i.p in xbox live is better, uncharted series ps3 = mint

Best way I can describe it is ps3 version is like playing pc.version in sd. Not hd. Its blurry clunky and slow but then I have pc version set to 130 field of view. Also maps online have more vehicles and flags. Just better all round. Ihave both pc and ps3 versions. Ps3 is very buggy also

You shouldn't judge anything by this video because you probably won't see any different. Let me tell you, I have the PS3 version and the PC version and the ps3 version looks worst than even the PC version on LOW(its the lowest quality the game has to offer and it usually made for lowend cheap PCs) and that's when i'm playing on a 50 inch plasma TV.

@guerrierodidio if you buy the game you will get an online pass with it ... you have to enter a serial code for the game to activate... so its free to play online on the ps3 BUT watch out because if you buy it from a friend or through ebay or something you might be fucked because once the online pass is used you cant use it again.. and on xbox 360 its the same story + you have to pay for live gold to play online !

I've played on xbox and ps3, and the ps3 is much better. Better AA, shadows, and textures. Not to mention that there is only one disc and loading is MUCH faster. (Before any of you fuckfaces out there call me a fanboy, I sold my ps3 and I play on xbox a lot more now, but now pc dominates my gaming schedule.)

texture popping.. that's low ram. Ram is the biggest issue, followed by old GPU's.. The CPU's aren't in that bad shape at all, they'd still have years left before they fall of the cliff.

It isnt really the graphics themselves we want to be looking that because the extra stuff on PC On ultra cant really be seen on a youtube video, but if you have played BF3 on both console and PC you will notice how much smoother it runs because console has capped FPS because for a game like this if the FPS wasnt capped the fans would have to work too hard so for console Dice had to tone done the graphics a bit.

Every one known hands down pc has best graphics as far as resolution, lighting, and effects, but they all look almost identical. Thanks to ps3, which is specifically designed from the ground up to display an HD image and to bu-ray having 5x the space than of a dvd to fit the textures it needs. Why do they look almost identical? Of course the xbox 360 uses dvd and also the pc, but to the GPU on xbox360 and any pc GPU outperforms the ps3's gpu.

The only MAJOR difference is the motion blur on PC which is unfortunate as for why they couldn't include it in the consoles probably because of the XBOX 360 capabilities i mean admit it, PS3 is more powerful and has better exclusives as they are designed for PS3 but they didnt design BF3 for PS3 which is why it is not as good as PC, look at some PS3 exclusives like GT5 Amazing graphics and Resistance FoM and 2 with 64 player online and MAG which 360 cant handle.

@NabsHussain You are right, they do look much better but that for completely different reasons. You see, if developers code games on the ps3 and then ported it back to other consoles. It would lag like crazy. That's because the PS3 is so unusual in its architecture that if you want to utilize 100%of its power, its obligated to be an exclusive. If its a multiplatforme game, the most dev can get is maybe 60%. If you ask me, its kind of stupid of sony to do that, but hey, I don't create consoles.

look man, this is from what I've experienced, my BF3 Ps3 version is too shitty, it's an amazing game, but on a shitty console, Ps3 is perfect for PS2 games, but only not better than good in its games, which sucks, I don't know how sony measured it!!! 256MB of ddr3(Graphics memory)!? @TheDanitus yeah the consoles run most games in something like 1280x704. If you have the texture pack installed it sort of "caches" data onto the hard drive making it look a little better on close up objects. I have a nice gaming PC but I don't often play in 720p or 1080p because it's usually not hooked up to anything but my 15" Dell LCD lol :P
What people prefer is what they prefer, it's virtually impossible to switch them. I'd play this on the Sega Dreamcast if I could. But I can't. :(
