how much space would u need to have to fly one. would 250 meters diameter be good to fly it. i only just got a super cub as a gift but its way too easy and i have had alot of practice on a simulater and i can fly them very well and land them. oh and is there alot of matenince with ducted fan airplanes.
Hi! Actually it's suggested for beginners that are getting into ducted fan airplanes (and are already experienced with a normal, high-wing trainer and possibly even a low wing sport plane)... Would not suggest it for someone completely new to the hobby.
Sure - wings, nose cone, canopy, etc... Wings are rarely broken because they're thick and do well in absorbing impacts. A customer of ours hit a tree on take-off with one of these and still flew / landed it safely.
Hi i would like to know if the mirage comes with a mode2 radio(throttle left) and if hand launches are possible and if i can unmount the landing gear to land on grass. Thx for reply
Hi! sure - all our RTF models come with mode2 transmitters. Handlaunching the model using an overhand throw (and holding the model from the rear) could be difficult but I've seen a video of a guy (very effortlessly!) launching the model by holding it from the back, above the wings and using an underhand toss. I personally haven't tried it myself to be honest but it seemed very easy to do for him! -=)

i had a look at the wing dragon 4 but it doesnt seem very stable in flight and i just fell in love with the cessna 182.Even if its a little expensive i might buy it.
do u think i could start with this one (cessna 182)?
We don't carry it but as I said I strongly recommend starting with a trainer. Even if $189 RTF is too high for you, one of the most successful trainers is also available on our site: the Wing Dragon comes in 2 versions: 3 channel ($100 RTF) and 4 channel ($136). Both are excellent trainers and are extremely stable, well made aircraft. It's better to learn to fly on a good trainer than to lose confidence by trying to fly one that's too advanced. These other planes will always be available.
i had a look at he easystar but 250dollars is too expensive .
do u think a 4channel MUSTANG EPO made.
i found thatone on ebay.
please have a look at it and tell me if it suits me otherwise can u tell me which RTF plane would suits me best (i am willing to spend up to 150dollars)
I think it would be very difficult to try and fly this without any previous experience, though as long as you're at a field where someone else is taking off and landing for you on those first few flights, it may be possible but not highly recommended - why not try the easystar for a first plane. Once you get used to it and are ready for another plane, you can set it up with an FPV camera system - the easystar is becoming the standard for FPV flying...
So you want an RTF 2nd plane - you're good at flying the trainer you have now? If so, this plane might be a good intro to EDF jets if you're interested in them
From what I have seen of this model, retracts would probably compromise the rigidity of the wings. It is possible to hand launch this model and land it in long grass without gear.
Hey, I flown mine four times already, once friday, once yesterday and twice today. Flies FREAKING FANTASTIC, takes off from grass runways OK. Mine is just a little nose-heavy. Flies great inverted, and does all the maneuvers including knife-edge because it has a rudder. I put a micro-PCM Futaba reciever in it and I use it with my 12Z radio. A winner!
Hey, can you get those little canards and top little horizontal plastic fins set? I seem to have misplaced mine. It will probably fly great without them, but I would still like to have them. Can you get spares for these little parts? Plane isawesome, waiting for a less windy a little warmer day to maiden-it!
Straight from the box to the air without any major modifications? looks really nice and I'm thinking buying one, is it wort buying? Atleast it looks promising :)
RC Helis are a lot more difficult to fly because not only do you have to consider forward movement (as in an airplane), but you also have backward and sideways movement to keep you on your toes... Give it a try in an RC flight simulator to see what I mean... -=)

2HaRdYz2 4 years ago
Hey! They fly at about 60 - 70 kmh. It'd make a good 1st ducted fan airplane if you have experience with a trainer. -=)

hi can any 1 tell me how gd this plane is to fly and what is your review on the mirage RTF model
juzza55 4 years ago
Very cool! I want to buy one, but i need to know if I can make some modifications so to retract the landing gears. What's your opinion?

hmmm good one... I don't know of anyone who has done that yet. It may be possible but I can't say for sure

-=) great - let us know if you decide to get it and we'll see if there are retracts that would be suitable for it.
