You have good sound and all, but you're playing the head just how it was written. You should look at the head as a road map that shows you were you need to go, but don't follow it exactly. Use some creativity and make it special!

Look at any jazz standard that exists. How many people have played them? Al lot. But how easy is it to say oh that's Bird's version or that is Cannonball or Coltrane. You dig?

Okay so i got some questions. What is the difference between an jk shadow sx90r alto sax and with a normal jk sx90r alto?Wich one is better? no matter the price.. Am asking this because i wanna get me a jk sx90r series alto but i dont know which one to get and a between those two.. I went to muy local music shop to see if they had anny of those two jks so i can try them out but they didnt had anny:(. So now am thinking to buy it online. So can annyone help me please?:) Ama be very pleased. Thanx

I'm not sure. I've not seen or played the other jk sx90r. The Shadow adds nickle to the brass to make it look dark silver (there is no silver in it). The other sx90r might be pure brass like high-end Selmer saxophones.

BTW, the French firm Buffet Crampon bought Schreiber-Keilwerth. So, you might want to look up Buffet Crampon for more information. I hope this helps.
