Close....Lawrence Welk co-owned it with Randy Wood (thus the name of the label, Ranwood), who had left Dot Records and acquired Welk's catalogues from Coral and Dot for re-issue on Ranwood Records. Welk took over Wood's interest in the label in 1979.

Randy Wood just died in April of this year at the age of 94.

  • I have this on 45, and it is so beat up and scratchy I can't enjoy it, so nice to hear it crisp and clear!! thanks for posting!!!

Ironically, this is directly FROM my 45, the flip-side of Quentin's Theme!

  • @MISisback would never have guessed it to be vinyl!!

  • @luvyellowroses1 My dad called it the idiot box ha, was limited to telly as a kid, dont get much from it now,a like a few shows, but not majorly into telly as much either

  • Amazing song...

  • I've always loved the blue album this originally came from. Even though I have it in my collection, I've not a working turntable to play it on. I would love to hear "Forgotten Dreams" and some of the other instrumentals on that record if you could upload them.
