12.9 @ 112 is pretty close to what a 2011 5.0 can do -without- any mods. Not hating, just a little suspicious. Nice run though.. sounds like the clutch slipping slightly..
fully bolted in my mind is intake downpipe all the charge air piping and after market front mount intercooler. I'm sure there are a few things that I'm missing though... The car is also tuned at 23psi on e85...
the 5.0 was a 2012 and he didnt have as much traction as me and he missed a gear.....his best time was 12.5 that day

Okay but your wrong the fastest stock cobra 03-04 ran 11.91 stock tires stock if a stock ss can run 12.9 I'm sure the cobras are faster and I own a 91 notch with and 04 swap I know what they do. So you might want to do more research

@SHTINONCHEVY The new 5.0 actually runs a 12.9 with a professional driver. Camaro SS runs 13.3 w/ pro driver and Challenger SRT8 13.5 w/ pro driver.

Thats not a NEW 5.0 Mustang, it doesnt sound like a bumblebee. That's one of the old ones with like 200+ hp. I thought this dude meant the new 2011's with like 415 hp LOL. What a fool i've been ha.

i always let off when the other car pulls ahead , who doesnt ? i mean why even run the rest of the race to see what kind of time you might run. if i spin the tires though , i just hammer the throttle even harder to see if i can lose control and crash my new car. makes perfect sence !! he let off when the cobalt pulled ahead, that statement is laughable. a 13 is respectable none the less, but dont make a statement like , he let off when the cobalt pulled ahead, my god.

@jackson0610 i have no doubt he let off you can see that in the video, i just dont belive the only reason for him doing so was because ( the cobalt pulled ahead). thats what the guy said to you after the race( i let off because the cobalt pulled ahead ) right? his exact words, i just want to make sure i understand you correctly. i dont belive i have ever heard anyone say that at the the track about any street car race. most will run the race out to see a time slip, unless you spin the tires

How about I was with the guy 15 minutes after he bought the car while he was having the mufflers cut off? I'm positive it is a 5.0... Read the description. I stated that he let off when the cobalt pulled ahead. That's why you see him fall back so quickly in the rearview mirror...

12.9 @ 112 is pretty close to what a 2011 5.0 can do -without- any mods. Not hating, just a little suspicious. Nice run though.. sounds like the clutch slipping slightly..

fully bolted in my mind is intake downpipe all the charge air piping and after market front mount intercooler. I'm sure there are a few things that I'm missing though... The car is also tuned at 23psi on e85...
