  • I think the big problem with a lot of the comments I'm seeing here is that you come from the perspective that Sasquatch is real. I personally like Gamera but I never look up into the sky expecting to see a giant flying turtle.

  • @shadow1961 on the minute chance that a giant turtle does soar across the sky, you'll miss out.

  • Cornball.

  • A crap trailer, structured very badly, which probably accurately reflects the film. What is it with heinous voices on lead females? Where were their parents when they started speaking through their nose. Yikes. Unpleasant all round.

  • @ps474paul Have you seen it?I only am watching the trailer because Roger Ebert gave it a good review so I got curious.

  • @ps474paul Yeah the trailer is kind of crap I dunno how it reflects the movie cause I haven't seen it yet but if it is good this is a poor representation of it.

  • Just read an article by Manohla Dargis on this filmmaker and this film. Her opinion is in my highest esteem.

The title gave me suspicions on how far the filmmaker's vision of sincerity reached, but i was still hopeful. Watching this trailer, seeing its aesthetics, the tone of its actors, I can see why Munch isn't a staple in international cinema. Purely observational, I can see that the filmmaker comes from a lineage of scientists. I suggest seeking out UNCLE BOONMEE.

  • when do I get to see this?

  • Seriously can't wait for this film. Anyone happen to know what the music is in the trailers?

  • I REALLY want to see this. I like that it's not making the sasquatch out to be a monster, and that it's not even questioning the fact that these animals are real. That's refreshing! I wonder if the people who wrote this film have had sightings or encounters of their own? From what I could see the squatch itself looked very realistic too!

  • I have been been interested in Bigfoot since the 1970s. This doesn't look too bad. Bigfoot is a hard subject to approach on film because your initial reaction is to not take it seriously. BTW, after 35 years of reading books and watching shows I do NOT believe in the existence of these creatures.

  • @CofCGuy is it your belief that Sasquatch is all a hoax? that every single sighting, hair sample, footprint, and hundreds of years of oral tradition passed down through generations of native people's to north america is all based on creature that doesn't exist? what I find most interesting is that these things did once exist (gigantopithecus blacki) and it is not all that inconceivable that there could be pockets of living sasquatches around the world. i'd be interested in hearing your take..

  • @CofCGuy

Than 35 years of your research failed.I saw one, they are real just like u and me.There are not gigantophitecus black, they are other specie of human that evolved in different way.

    Homo erectus

  • @CofCGuy keep reading and researching then

  • Seriously looks terrible. If you take out the plot, the characters, the lines, but leave in the scenery I'd be down for it. (oh yeah, leave out the swipes too.)

  • Look into the Sasquatch eye, and you know the Sas can fly...

    Movie looks brilliant

  • This looks like an incredibly moving film, I hope it gets a theatrical release soon!

  • It LOOKS lovely, but...is it good? I mean despite the awards? The trailer didn't really do anything for me to make it interesting. Nice landscapes, but...

  • can anyone tell me where these wonderful landscape (1:13) can be found??

looks like a wonderful movie... absolutley enchanting

  • @Fanatico9 All in southern Oregon.

  • @ GHL03 I just say at a Indie film festival, but it has already won nominations and awards. Should be released soon, hopefully it will be "picked up"

  • This movie was profound. When asked to go, I was prepared to stifle my laughter. I have had a number of my own personal experiences last summer & was sure that no one else had experienced what I have seen/felt/heard.

I went into this not because I wanted to prove or disprove this legend..I was drawn to a specific location & from there everything unfolded as if by magic..It thrills me to know, somehow the truth of this "legend" has been depicted in this film..would so love to speak to others

  • Anyone know when this is released and where i can watch it?
