its nice to see there are still some Brave Americans !
its takes a lot of courage and conviction to stand up and Tell The President of the USA That He is a War Crimminal . and or that the USA is violating Human Rights!
The Real Political Problem with CANADA is that its Elected Representatives are under the Dictatership of a General :
Canada not Canadia! Fool! While those women were being dragged off, do you think their freedom of speech was squelched? Freedom of speech stops when you are advocating the overthrow of the government, or when you cause public disturbances, such as shouting "Fire!" in a theater. That's right. There already ARE limits on speech in this country. Read Oliver Windell Holmes, former Supreme Court Justice from about 100 years ago. K, big guy?
You don't lose your rights by exercising them, unless you vote republican. That's about the only way you can be assured that you WILL lose them. By the way, those nations listed to the right on this page are NOT AMERICA. Different nations, different rules. They seem to have a much better grasp on hate speech than we do.
I simply find it ironic that anyone can preach on about caring for the rights and priviledges of other human beings and still profess to be a Bush supporter. Be it code pink or any other group or individual, Bush deserves to be heckled from any and every public stage he takes, and from his position as well. See you on the other side.
... no one is in a position which heeds more responsibilty than this ghastly administration, which COULD have used its term to change the world for the better, by leading the way by showing willingness to communicate, put compassion and common sense somewhere in its policies, instead of only excercing, nah, abusing its power to threaten, kill, intrude, steal, bomb, police, and from the very start have 'americas defenses' its top agenda. Its a much bigger example of abused responsibility.
... but what about priviledges, like that of being 'elected' into a position of seemingly great power? Does that not come with even greater responsibility? Bush has taken the world into a completely unjustifiable war and won the support for this crusade by manufacturing a threat to society and using fear to gain trust as the 'protector' of your way of life. Any administration in 2008 should be using their position to set a new example for the world...
Not to make light of the subject now, but I will say that from my perspective, anyone who is a Bush supporter is indeed mentally as well as deeply emotionally challenged. So I guess 'mentally challenged' is the more PC, albeit polite, way of saying what I feel about any Bush supporter.. regardless of their intellectual prowess or ability to articulate their position. To me it's about evolution, and you speak of rights coming with responsibility...
And in recognising my own hateful reactions, I regret projecting ill emotion toward you. In that moment I was not above anyone I condemn. I am sorry. Admittedly immature.
You throw that word "retard" around recklessly. What if I was mentally challenged, how do you think that "retard" term would have been received? If you see me contradicting myself it is only because your vision is colored by your pre-conceived opinions. I never said people should not express themselves; I just said such expressions come with responsibility and should never have trampled on the rights of those 76 new Americans for Code Pink's selfish aggrandizement.
...while speaking out against fascist, without censoring yourself, is in fact anti PC. Please think before you speak. I don't mean to be rude, but you must see you contradict yourself? To practice PC, you confine yourself to an socially acceptable, non-offensive, submissive, super-imposed thought pattern. PC is tricky by definition, as both you and i could point to the others stance as being PC.
I do not say this as an absolute, as I know there are many perspectives, but you sir contradict yourself and are coming across as a complete... for lack of better terminology, retard. The politcally correct thing to do in this situation is to let the ceremony and its politics run its course while censoring yourself, which is the foundation of PC behavior. Yelling 'fire' in a theater is not PC, its completely chaotic and markedly without reason...
I am not sure where these 76 all hail from, but it may have been suitable to wait a few years for when there is no America. Then they could all be part of the NAU instead =).
And thats not how theyre thinking in America? Free-Speach zones? Dragging people away from 'public' meetings for speaking their mind? That IS banning free speech.
No, PB, it is not more important, and I am no PC monger... far from it. You should ask yourself exactly what it will mean to be an American in the coming years... then ask yourself again if those people are so proud to be Americans...
I think youre confusing me with others in this debate. P.C. agenda? What agenda?
If you think freedom of speech should be respected while disrupting a ceremony for 76 new Americans, then you are PC. So per you free speech should be unlimited and without responsibility. Please go yell, "fire" in a theater.
Correct, I think what is happening in Canada is absolutley hilarious. It's mind-boggling how they are thinking up there. Banning certain parts of free speech as if that action wont have any consequences in the future. It's unbelievable.
Anyway, I will leave you to it. There is much more at stake here than 76 people becoming Americans. Please proceed with your debate. As a Bush supported you and I are on vastly seperate ends of the spectrum, and I feel this forum is not the most fitting for my contribution.
...for these reasons I believe he and his administration should be called out of every single public appearance they make to raise awareness. The bottom line is George Bush doesnt give a shit about these people, either. He shouldnt be able to stand as leader of America in any public ceremony, no matter the cause... unless it is an open debate where free speech is not abolished and ushered to the door.
Yes. George Bush has denied many on this planet much more than free speech. His is a criminal. It's time some Americans outgrew their sheltered , fearful brainbox's and realise their is and was no threat to their national security nor their way of life apart from that which Government has in store for them and the rest of the world, and I will never, I repeat never, be convinced of any justification for their one-sided wars and policies...
...as in my view he should no longer be amongst the public, but in jail. He/they have lied, maimed, killed, mislead, abused their positions to an extent that I feel should be exposed by anyone willing and able, anytime, anywhere.
Fair point, I was off topic. And I admit, I did not take the time to learn anything about you before posting.
Here is a little about me: Yes I am pro President Bush and conservative. But I would have posted this same video had the same been done to President Clinton. Because this moment did not belong to Code Pink or any President, it belongs to those new American citizens.
True. Good call. You are correct that my remark is out of context. I think what I meant to say is that it appeared to me (though I commented before knowing anything about you) that you were/are in defense of Bush and this ceremony and somehow think there is still time for an 'appropriate time and place' for free speech against this administration. My opinion is that Bush no longer has the priviledge of speaking as leader of this nation or even the right to speak in public...
So you would deny President Bush the right to speak in public and afford that right to Code Pink pinkos to disrupt a ceremony for new American citizens?
You sir are one more reason to feel absolutely hopeless about the future of America and human civilization as we know it. The minute one of you clowns can explain WTC 7's collapse and the 'evaporation' of boeing jets on 9/11, I will give your administration the benefit of the doubt. Maybe.
As many "liberals" ("progressive" socialists, communists, and unclassifiable sociopaths) do, they engage in a behavior called projection bias. It is a defense mechanism in which the mentally unstable "liberal" attributes their own unacceptable or unwanted thoughts or/and emotions to others.
'USAGymnast', you're 'grasping at straws' again, as a small minded person often does. Clinton's mistakes were nothing compared to Bush's HUGE mistakes that involved the lives of HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS dead! Then there's 'Yellowcake'/Niger, Abu Ghraib, Katrina, not properly equipping our soldiers or caring for them upon return, 'Mission Accomplished'/staging the whole thing off California, Guantanamo, etc. If Bush were the CEO of a corporation, his incompetent ass would have been fired long ago!
'USAGymnast', you need to face reality and educate yourself! You are 'grasping at straws', and exhibit behavior of those who are losing arguments. The false Niger uranium, or lack of WMD's is a non-partisan subject you myopic idiot. Many Republicans too, were and are outraged by the lies and arrogance of Bush and company. Wake up!
sphiegromit: if you think Republicans are outraged by the lies and arrogance of Bush, then there are no such Republicans who are outraged as there were no lies or arrogance.
I don't think... I know. My father is one of them. A Manhattan doctor, and a staunch, 'lifelong' Republican who recently stated to me that George Bush is the absolute worst President he's seen in his 79 years. He voted for Kerry, and is voting for Obama. If you think there were no lies or arrogance, you haven't observed, learned, or read enough! Start with Frank Rich's excellent book titled "The Greatest Story Ever Sold." Yes, Saddam is dead, but at what cost? He was no threat!
USAGymnast, I agree that the Democrats are warmongers too. If you do a google search for "Planned Kosovo war in 1996" , I think you will see some links to articles that you will find interesting.
Propagandabuster, Maybe the solution is for the majority of the people to vote for a candidate that supports the constitution. Then you won't have to worry that you will lose your rights whether people do what you consider abusing their rights or not.
PropagandaBuster, What's your view on Libertarians? From the Libertarian view both the Democrats and Republicans are over the top tax and spenders that have put the country in a debt that it will be difficult to recover from. To me it looks like the Republicans have the liberalism illness along with the warmonger illness, and the Democrats have been complicit in all of it. Aren't the Democrats and Republicans in general just different shades of the same party?
You are a stuttering idiot, whoever you are. You are a fucking Nazi. Wait your Italian right? Then your grandmother probably sucked Mussolini's cock. You fucking idiot. I hope you die in a fire.
Real peaceful. Why is it that when someone doesn't agree with you, they are a racist?Of course, since you're making fun of Italians, you must be a racist yourself. So I guess a racist can spot a fellow "racist".
Wow, I can't believe you managed to crowbar Sea Shepherd into this. The cruel senseless slaughter of Whales in one of this planets most pristine environments must and will be stopped. Operation Musashi is on the way.
You are correct that concept I can not get into my big head. For to do so would be to think humans superior to this planet, and exhibit a profound ignorance of this planet we call earth. The earth is far superior to any human and can definitely manage without a band of pirates playing on the high seas.
Totally! Renewable energy is the only way forward. Solar recharged/Battery powered cars are the only way out of this oil mess. Hybrid will have to do in the interim.
Your full of crap. This world will be hear long after humans are gone. Your just another brainwashed miserable human who has been dumbed down by the worst school systems in the world. You know nothing of what you speak. You are just another usefull idiot of the left. Global Warming whales. Gives us a breake the rest of us forgot more than you know. Idiot
God you are an idiot. You are like some horrible walking stereotype. Did you just walk off the set of the Sapranos or something? Are you handicapped? Seriously, because you look and act like you have a serious brain defect. Propaganda, do you even know what that word means? Go fuck yourself.
You are an idiot with a low IQ. Your kind will be taken care of through evolution. I suspect I will be reading about you in the newspaper after you attempt to figure out how much gasoline is in your fuel tank by lighting a lighter and trying to look down into it, thus blowing yourself up. That day can not come too soon.
Why are dems and liberals always to go damn dumb to put up an argument instead of attack someone? Oh that's right, you don't have an argument because conservatives and republicans are always right.
Eon are you a codepink? You don't know shit about the war pick up a book or whatch the military channel maybe it'll teach you about the war, and what our soldiers do yo defend us everyday.
You accuse the Code Pink protestors of being 'selfish', but it's ok for the President you defend to invade another country, killing 1m+ people in the process and stealing their oil to sell to you at double the price it was a year or two ago.
"With free speech comes responsibility..."
Take a LONG good look at yourself. I hope those words come back to choke you every time you fill you car.
You all HAVE TO READ "The Greatest Story Ever Sold - The Decline And Fall Of Truth In Bush's America" by NY Times reporter Frank Rich. It was a NY Times bestseller, and exposes all the lies, dishonesty, and arrogance of Bush and company. Read it and BE OUTRAGED! Remember, disagreement and dissent IS patriotic, ESPECIALLY concerning the lies of this President. And FYI, 'propagandabuster', LEGIONS of Republicans can't stand Bush and his lies and mismanagement either. Educate yourself simpleton!
Educate yourself about Bush's disrespect to US, by LYING about a war based on false pretenses, where thousands have died needlessly, and countless children maimed and left orphans! Where in God's name is your sense of moral outrage for THAT???!!!
Please spare me, i don't feel like arguing with another idiot on youtube. Sort out your life and stop bothering others.Don't reply to this b/c i won't read it.But you aren't the type of person that values dignity, so go ahead and write your anger for the world.
AgentSmithTwo: I love it; you call USAGymnast an "idiot," then accuse him of not valuing another's dignity. That was so illustrative of the hypocrisy and mental disorder of liberalism.
Yes, God Bless America for the freedom we have been given. Happy 232nd Birthday America, and Propaganda Buster, Thank you, and please keep up the good work.
Propaganda Buster, you are wrong in this argument. There is nowhere in England or Canada's law that says they are free to speak. Unlike those nations, we have a law that says it is our right in black and white, they do not, and therefor that right can be taken away from them. That right can never be removed from the US for one simple reason. Unlike those other countries you said, we have a Supreme Court which will protect our rights whenever the current government tries to limit our rights.
Thats a good thing there. Soka Gakkai is a cult, and praises Korea over Japan. They have no sense of patriotism, and wishes to take over the government with it's party that they force the Soka believers to vote on. They are a cult, and if I get arrested, in UNITED STATES OF AMERICA for saying this, that wouldn't prove my freedom of speech. In France and few other nations, the government proved that it was a cult. But not in Japan, so he was arrested for charge of defamation then.
You are absolutely right on. These people, disrupters, are simply crashing a party and ruining it, just thugs like juveniles who take opportunities to break commodes and ruin facilities so others cannot enjoy them.
Hi, I'm canadian, I wanted to weigh in on this since you mentioned some goings on in my country. First, what those pinkos did was beyond reproach, I do not agree with everything president bush has done either, but for them to be so disrespectful towards those people who were being sworn in as citizens of your country can only be construed as opportunistic. granted all have the right to freedom of speech, but they hurt their cause be acting in such a disgraceful manner. they should be ashamed.
second in canada we consider ourselves to be a multicultural society, as we have seen over the years all across north america, it is difficult for people from all walks of life to get along at all times, and so they have attempted to create regulations in order to keep the peace. mark steyn, I believe has a right to say what he did, however he's a moron, but I don't think stupidity is a crime anywhere.
the problem I see is this. for a long time I have heard so many people talk about the fascism of the right wing, about how their way of life is threatened by the rightwingers' inability to accept them. and so they sue, they rant...and you know what's happening now? it turns out, they're no better, they're turning into fascists too! no one can speak their mind when they're not being P.C. and that's censorship, and that's wrong. I'm ashamed of canada for that.
there's a middle ground where common sense lives, that people seem to be forgetting about.and so we get tribunals every time someone goes crying persecution.the truth is people have a right to their oppinions, and as long as tthere's no violence I see no need to send them to the gulag ]. just remember, best way for us to lose our rights is for us to abuse and exploit them, to take them for granted.the pinkos need to show some class and apologize to their new countrymen. my 2 canadian cents.
With you Propagandabuster!I have to say, I live in this town, and my friends mom got sworn in and they were truly dissapointed and sad their day got ruined. The true and good protester were nice enough over half a mile away from Monticello.
You seem like a nice enough fella, but truth be told, nobody protested because they wanted publicity. They just wanted to confront a coward that was too chicken to face the American people and their rightful critism. You also said if you abuse it you lose it. That might be the case with some laws, but not with protesting and freedom of speech, as long as it's legal (can't yell fire in a crowded theatre), which this was, they can protest all they want. Happy 4th of July to you as well.
I do not care the motive of those bums, they were wrong for disrespecting those new citizens and their families. See, those bums only care about their feelings and discount the feelings of all others. Those bums represent all that is wrong with our society.
And on a much larger scale, Bush DISRESPECTED America by lying to us, and invading a country based on bald lies and fabrications (Niger uranium, WMD's, etc.)! If you weren't such a simple minded, brainwashed neocon, you'd understand real ethics and reality. Get a clue.
No, they are RIGHT! Afghanistan was/is a just war, BUT the Iraqi invasion, based on false build-up, bald lies, and deception, is immoral and wrong. Thousands have died needlessly because of Bush and company's aggression. War is sometimes inevitable, but one has to have damn good cause to start and fight one! Read Frank Rich's "The Greatest Story Ever Sold - The Decline and Fall of Truth in Bush's America" for a dose of reality and truth you simpleton.
Nope, they are wrong. Those new Americans and their families had every right to expect the day to be about them and their families. The ceremonies were marred by selfish people looking for publicity.
I do not agree no one made a special fucking day for any of us. wh yshould they not only have a sopecial day but recieve x amounts of money to become an american? that money could be used for the families already orn in america. sorry but it is what it is.
The drafter of the Declaration of Independence which we honor this 4th of July wrote: "The day will come when the mystical generation of Jesus...will be classed with the fable of the generation of Minerva in the brain of Jupiter."
"And the day will come, when the mystical generation of Jesus, by the Supreme Being as His Father, in the womb of a virgin, will be classed with the fable of the generation of Minerva, in the brain of Jupiter."
Thomas Jefferson also said,
"The god who gave us life, gave us liberty at the same time: the hand of force may destroy, but cannot disjoin them."
and GOD wrote: "There she lusted after her lovers whose genitals were like those of donkeys and whose ejaculations were like those of horses." Ezekiel 23:20 So your point?
The Treaty of Tripoli ratified by the 5th Congress: Article 11 As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion;
Now please relate that to the topic of this video where a few people choose to disrespect the new American citizens and their families? Or are you just on an anti-Christian crusade?
No sweetie, if that were the case I would ask about that crucifix around your neck. If Jesus would have been executed 20 years ago, Catholics would wear little gold electric chairs around their necks.
You ma'am are the racist here as you claim to see racism where none exist. My accent is that of an American with an Italian heritage, and to you that is mocking blacks. That ma'm shows your bigotry. If you are referring to the way I say, "the United States of America," it is my attempt to over emphasize a Southern accent. So are you saying only blacks have over emphasized Southern accents? That is where your racism comes in, you bigot. Shame on you for such behavior.
ruined their day? that's your assumption... I would have a good laugh! your name calling is boring...yawn! God doesn't give a shit about nationality or beliefs...She cares about all of life and the systems that generate, sustain and destroy it.

Also by telling me this YOU are confirm that Gorge Wannabe Bush, is an inbreed, along with you and his current family. correct?
sinisterben1262 3 years ago
Propagandabuster, Maybe the solution is for the majority of the people to vote for a candidate that supports the constitution. Then you won't have to worry that you will lose your rights whether people do what you consider abusing their rights or not.
Lew847 3 years ago
Them dar Democrats' are so laughable and their illness of liberalism.
PropagandaBuster 3 years ago
PropagandaBuster, What's your view on Libertarians? From the Libertarian view both the Democrats and Republicans are over the top tax and spenders that have put the country in a debt that it will be difficult to recover from. To me it looks like the Republicans have the liberalism illness along with the warmonger illness, and the Democrats have been complicit in all of it. Aren't the Democrats and Republicans in general just different shades of the same party?

Nah, I just care about a sustainable future for this planet. 'Way out' 'trippy' concept for you to get your head around I know.

You are correct that concept I can not get into my big head. For to do so would be to think humans superior to this planet, and exhibit a profound ignorance of this planet we call earth. The earth is far superior to any human and can definitely manage without a band of pirates playing on the high seas.

Educate yourself simpleton!
sophiegromit 3 years ago

Propaganda Buster, you are wrong in this argument. There is nowhere in England or Canada's law that says they are free to speak. Unlike those nations, we have a law that says it is our right in black and white, they do not, and therefor that right can be taken away from them. That right can never be removed from the US for one simple reason. Unlike those other countries you said, we have a Supreme Court which will protect our rights whenever the current government tries to limit our rights.
ausername123456 3 years ago
This was a nice commentary about those people who interrupted the President's speech. I was there on the grounds and saw it all.
True, this day was about the honor of becoming a U.S. citizen, and some others thought it was their show.
Fortunately they were all gone by the time those 76 people were granted their citizenship and given their certificates.
regisor94 3 years ago
did they leave or were they all arrested like they all should have been?

Those people were immediately removed from the crowd (in handcuffs), but were still screaming their opinions at the top of their lungs.
President Bush simply continued with his speech.

Japan: A blogger was arrested for Writing SokaGakkai a "cult"...
PoweredByNamahage 3 years ago
Thats a good thing there. Soka Gakkai is a cult, and praises Korea over Japan. They have no sense of patriotism, and wishes to take over the government with it's party that they force the Soka believers to vote on. They are a cult, and if I get arrested, in UNITED STATES OF AMERICA for saying this, that wouldn't prove my freedom of speech. In France and few other nations, the government proved that it was a cult. But not in Japan, so he was arrested for charge of defamation then.
Nonojr2 3 years ago
However, President Bush sent the congratulatory telegram to the Yakuza's boss.
The meaning is unknown.

Ironhead097 3 years ago
second in canada we consider ourselves to be a multicultural society, as we have seen over the years all across north america, it is difficult for people from all walks of life to get along at all times, and so they have attempted to create regulations in order to keep the peace. mark steyn, I believe has a right to say what he did, however he's a moron, but I don't think stupidity is a crime anywhere.
Ironhead097 3 years ago
the problem I see is this. for a long time I have heard so many people talk about the fascism of the right wing, about how their way of life is threatened by the rightwingers' inability to accept them. and so they sue, they rant...and you know what's happening now? it turns out, they're no better, they're turning into fascists too! no one can speak their mind when they're not being P.C. and that's censorship, and that's wrong. I'm ashamed of canada for that.
Ironhead097 3 years ago
there's a middle ground where common sense lives, that people seem to be forgetting about.and so we get tribunals every time someone goes crying persecution.the truth is people have a right to their oppinions, and as long as tthere's no violence I see no need to send them to the gulag ]. just remember, best way for us to lose our rights is for us to abuse and exploit them, to take them for granted.the pinkos need to show some class and apologize to their new countrymen. my 2 canadian cents.

With you Propagandabuster!I have to say, I live in this town, and my friends mom got sworn in and they were truly dissapointed and sad their day got ruined. The true and good protester were nice enough over half a mile away from Monticello.
lmpitek 3 years ago

PropagandaBuster 3 years ago
And on a much larger scale, Bush DISRESPECTED America by lying to us, and invading a country based on bald lies and fabrications (Niger uranium, WMD's, etc.)! If you weren't such a simple minded, brainwashed neocon, you'd understand real ethics and reality. Get a clue.

Separatist4life 3 years ago
You are wrong.
PropagandaBuster 3 years ago
No, they are RIGHT! Afghanistan was/is a just war, BUT the Iraqi invasion, based on false build-up, bald lies, and deception, is immoral and wrong. Thousands have died needlessly because of Bush and company's aggression. War is sometimes inevitable, but one has to have damn good cause to start and fight one! Read Frank Rich's "The Greatest Story Ever Sold - The Decline and Fall of Truth in Bush's America" for a dose of reality and truth you simpleton.
sophiegromit 3 years ago
Nope, they are wrong. Those new Americans and their families had every right to expect the day to be about them and their families. The ceremonies were marred by selfish people looking for publicity.

The drafter of the Declaration of Independence which we honor this 4th of July wrote: "The day will come when the mystical generation of Jesus...will be classed with the fable of the generation of Minerva in the brain of Jupiter."
Thomas Jefferson
brandyspearsca 3 years ago
This is the correct quote:
"And the day will come, when the mystical generation of Jesus, by the Supreme Being as His Father, in the womb of a virgin, will be classed with the fable of the generation of Minerva, in the brain of Jupiter."
Thomas Jefferson also said,
"The god who gave us life, gave us liberty at the same time: the hand of force may destroy, but cannot disjoin them."
PropagandaBuster 3 years ago
More from Thomas Jefferson:
" I have sworn on the altar of God eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man."
And he wrote in the Declaration of Independence:
"..the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them,..."

and GOD wrote: "There she lusted after her lovers whose genitals were like those of donkeys and whose ejaculations were like those of horses." Ezekiel 23:20 So your point?

The Treaty of Tripoli ratified by the 5th Congress: Article 11 As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion;

So you are still wondering away from the topic of this video.
