I still prefer roms and emulators on computers, mostly because of two reasons, ipads, iphones, etc are not real substitutes to play roms and emulators on, that and they weren't really design for them, but hey if you manage to get it to work without any lag or issues or other stuff then it's cool otherwise, still aways to go to make it as good as playing it on ones computer.

Upgrade to version 7.0.0 of snes4iphone. They fixed the lag. Runs perfectly now on my iPod 2g

if you have a jailbroken iphone or ipod, just go into Cydia and type in snes4iphone.. if its not jailbroken yet google "spirit jailbreak"

yea i know i played it on a 3gs and it was flawless but my 2g ipod has really choppy sound still and the controls are horrible only for the facr of it need to show when you press a or b or any other button

It's a much better emulator now than is pictured here. Both the speed and music line up, it's not as horrifically choppy as it is here.

I wonder why its so laggy on yours. I had the SNES emulator with Super Mario All-Stars on my 1st gen Ipod Touch and it ran much smoother than your Iphone. I have an IPhone 3G S now, so as soon as someone can make a propper non tethered Jail Break for it, i;m gonna get the new version of SNES, the old one sucked cause I couldn't save my games with it, I heard you can save now and its much better.
