@TroutMaskReplicaa yeah i re-watched it, and this is somebody else's comment, that i agree with the longhaired guy and the girl are in love and all is well during the summer. then the army comes and chooses the longhaired guy for service. he goes for training and when he comes back, shorn, he finds that his best friend has starting dating his girl. so, hardened by the army training already, the taking away of his girl is the last straw and he goes ballistic on his friend-just what i think :L
