  • Guy probably deserved it. Plus most of the people have no idea what the protest is about. I don't even know what it's about. But clearly none of you have any idea what an officer has to deal with each and every day, good or bad cop, they all cop the same shit day in day out. You go out protesting, be prepared to get a smack to the face. Otherwise go back home, get a job and have a shower you hippies. Protesting where you were wouldn't have changed anything. Waste of time .

  • O I understand all right there a bunch of fucking hippies looking for a free ride.

  • Melbourne is going down!!!!!!

  • Google "Victoria Police Compliments and Complaints" and complain about the bastard online. Include the link to this video. Call them few days later and ask whats the story with the bastard. I did that and I live 18000kms away from Victoria.

  • PLEASE READ!!

If only governments could follow facts rather than a right wing philosophy. Steve Keen is an Associate Professor in economics and finance at the University of Western Sydney he's published "Debunking Economics" if you want to uncover the philosophy behind the National party please read!

    Vote: Vote Green!

  • Bunch of wankers!!..so wish i could get there..F**K THE GREED IN THIS F**KED UP WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Go the Police - give all these unwashed feral scumbag leftards a serious clip under the ear!

  • HAHAHAHA OCCUPY anywhere in Australia is fucking stupid. I hope he samcks a few more of you cunts

  • "unless you are indigenous or a refugee, please refrain from commenting because you don't understand - and anything you say will automatically be deemed RACIST and HYPOCRITICAL, as YOU have been OCCUPYING someone else's land for your entire life..."

You have just lost all credibility. THEY were BORN here and are THUS NATIVES of this place AS WELL. ERASE RACISM means ERASE it not TURN IT AROUND.

  • @killitwithfire6

great - people BORN THERE can see the ISSUES? right? - then turn it around, do something MAKE A CHANGE, repair the mistakes of the PAST instead of IGNORING it for another 50 years.

  • @NZtrillion I agree with that, but you're dodging the fact that you just discriminated against any non-indigenous or non-refugee person who has an opinion on the subject based on their ethnicity. I'm a native of Europe not because my ancestors were born there, but because I was. Similarly someone born in Europe whose parents were born elsewhere is still a native of Europe. Amazing how far behind the attitude is here, even by non-racist people like yourself.

  • @killitwithfire6

my comment was a reaction to a whole lot of idiots who don't understand what Occupy Melbourne are standing for: equal rights for indigenous and respect for refugees.

people who tell Occupy Melbourne to fuk off, when they don't even realise they have been occupying australia illegally their whole lives. there was NEVER a TREATY made with indigenous, and the word SORRY is not a treaty... ya dig?

  • @NZtrillion Yes, but this is what I mean about 'behind'. You still concern yourself with which colour did what, no matter how humanitarian it is. In fact what happened is this. One society of human beings who, through the benefits of Eurasian biogeography, had steel, screwed over another human society who, though almost identical genetically and behaviourally, were stuck with this place. The committing and victim society are now extinct. Our generation has nothing to say sorry for.

  • @killitwithfire6

sorry or not, i don't see our generation of white people trying to heal, unify, change any of the racist ideologies inherited from the past. the only changes i see are mostly from other non-white australians reaching out to indigenous.

  • @NZtrillion Perhaps you havent met everyone then, I've never seen anyone defend Indigenous and Refugee Australians as fiercely as my partner, and she's white, its not the colour, its the person. Thats what we need to focus on.

  • Speaking of generalisations, its interesting that the actions of a singly police officer are here used to suggest that all police always act inappropriately. OM has a credibility deficit that isn't being aided here.

  • @jtshe1

just wondering how much other footage you've seen?

i've seen about 6 different videos and all contain fairly extreme use of force for the situation.

in one of them you can even hear an old lady (bystander) saying 'oh my god!' and commenting how out of line the police are.

  • what happened to the cop? charges?

  • Simple statement, regardless of any of it, majority of cops in Victoria are a pack of cunts anyways, arrogant fucks on there high horse, peices of shit.

  • @sinnsmd So why dont you join the force and see how hard it is to deal with morons like you out there? Or the 500 stoners that turned up to the occupy melbourne protest fresh from smoking their joints out the back of the monash arts building. The REAL protesters left when they were told to, no fuss. Then the "Activists" came in from Monash who skipped class to get stoned and cause friction in the city. I say that the cops didnt punch out enough of those fuckin useless hippies

  • I wish you just showed us the footage in full, and maybe used arrows or something the highlight where we should look. The repeated footage in slow motion makes it look like you're trying to sensationalise it. The actions say enough.

It shouldn't matter if the guy that got hit had held up a peace sign a few moments ago (man he can move fast), the cop shouldn't have punched him.

As for dragging someone along in a headlock, I'm sure there are things called handcuffs to avoid that sort of thing.

    : (

  • HS WIFE MUST BE SO FUCKING PROUD

  • Cops are thugs with guns and badges

  • Has anyone got the cops name yet? Thats a definate unprovoked assualt what a typical mildly retarded cop, another one who wants riots, what an idiot out for the fun of stirring up a riot.

  • Aw, looks like the good police of Melbourne aren't man enough to handle a peaceful protest. Better bring in the massive animals that have a choice in the matter....

  • IF PEOPLE WANT REAL CHANGE STOP PARTICIPATING IN AIDING THE GOVERNMENTS ,STOP PAYING TAXES, STOP VOTING IT IS THAT SIMPLE .WHEN YOU ARE MARCHING IN THE STREETS ALL YOU ARE DOING IS PLAYING INTO THE HANDS OF THOSE WHO CONTROL THE SYSTEM OF CONTROLLING YOU..WAKE UP TIME TO EVOLVE AND BECOME FREE FROM CONTROL. YOU ARE NOT CITIZENS YOU ARE HUMAN BEINGS PEACE AND LOVE

  • Solidarity from sydney.

  • I thought the army removed violent occupations and that the police protected the public and fought crime. Looks like the police remove peacefull occupations, beat the public and commit crime.

  • Hahahaha. That cop should learn to punch harder.

  • against the large corporations yet you all had video cameras... iphones, smart phones and are supporting corporations like phone companys to get internet access to post this stuff...

  • @nyreedewis keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Just because individuals use certain social media and technology does not mean there is not a more humane or fair way to go about accessing these amenities.

Do you not think we should take advantage of what we have, given that others in this world are less fortunate to voice their injustices without the access to social media, mobile phones or social media?

  • @nyreedewis, We are not against large corporations, its about the greedy way in wich they are run. Pay scales are nonsustainable and flawed meaning that if they dont change the way they conduct themselves economic collapse is imminent. This has been proven since the fall of the egyptian empire. American presidents have been assasinated due to speaking up about the errors in corporate financial management.

  • @nyreedewis Congratulations on missing the point by a country mile. Who made those products? Workers. Who are using those products? Workers. Are they not entitled to use some of the meagre wealth they are able to command to buy some of the products their class made?

This is honestly the dumbest argument I have heard against OWS and its solidarity movement.

  • How about helping your own country men! Stop trying to get more for refugees etc and start helping the people who built this country to what it was before the money grabbing started. Our Australian pensioners struggle to pay their bills or even buy ample food. How about the Govt put them up in Hotels or give them the equivalent of what that costs. Sort our own first or at least bring them in to parity with what the refugees are getting. The indigenous people need education, not money!

  • @TUFGQ

you live on stolen land dude. as do the great pensioners and their forefathers that 'stole' this land.

one day you'll be a refugee and then, and only then will you understand...

just one question: do you acknowledge you live in a country that was stolen from the original owners, and that no treaty has never been signed nor sought?

The indigenous people need education, money, their land back and the largest and possibly hardest of all RESPECT, LOVE, ACCEPTANCE & EQUALITY!

  • @NZtrillion

    i forgot... and JUSTICE...

  • @NZtrillion I do acknowledge all of what you say. I can not argue, as it is true. I do not know how I will become a refugee though. The indigenous people need lot's of things, but giving them more money will only serve to cause them more problems. Education is the key. Once they have systematic education then money can be better explored. When you say give them their land back, do you mean ownership to do with it as they please, or give it back the way it was before white man settled?

  • @TUFGQ well, i'm not an expert in the field, but i can imagine a bunch of things that may work. 1. stop illegally mining australia 2. stop polluting the great basin with mining and uranium cast-offs 3. when mining, make a deal with the original owners - give those owners 50% of profits. 4. with that money they can: a) buy their land back. b) set up farms and gardens to feed their people. c) education 5. stop criminalising on colour 6. stop raping indigenous women 7. add something yourself..
  • @TUFGQ

Maybe you need a bit of educating TUFGO!!

  • @smitten551 I am very well educated, but thank you for the concern. p.s. Maybe you should learn to read and decipher spelling. I think what is being lost on most here, is not the reasons behind the "peaceful protest" but the fact that you turn a useful demonstration in to a ridiculous media circus that makes the entire week a laughing stock. By all means lock arms and act defiant, but when police approach, release and walk with, why kick and spit at them. You know it's going to bring you grief!

  • @TUFGQ There was a pensioner there at the rally with the exact same message. It's a broad issue, this injustice of wealth.

  • @TUFGQ *sigh* more uninformed drivel. those that built this country, a lot of them where refugees. refugees recieve no more than anyone else on unemployed benefits. Things are being done to help those in need in this country, refugees are refugees because of war, famine etc. they don't just leave willy nilly.

  • Got a name for the cop who did it? The NYC these people were exposed for the thugs they are.

  • Lets see, people gathering together for a protest is fine by me, but when i couldnt get to work yesterday because of these guys REFUSING to listen to the law and move on? I'm aboriginal and appreciate what these people are trying to do but their mentality is all wrong, there is no point pumping money into a system that can be abused. Im studying part time and working, these people are doing nothing to help me much, other than blocking my way and making me late for work. Thanks guys!

  • @denyag hey and you pay tax too, why ??? do you know that priviate person no need to pay TaX???? you should be supporting these people, cose one day they will come to your house and drug you out same way.....just wait go to work and do nothing.......

    good video

  • He got punched because he spat in his face. He's lucky he still has a face.

  • Hahahahahaha

  • Gary Johnson is the best presidential candidate for the american people. He has the most logical and ethical economic solutions for this nation as a whole. I ask that you at least research him, and if you do not, if I did know you, I'd have to ask, why are you voting when you do not have all the facts? Why vote only for your own sake instead of for the sake of our nation and the greater good? Take some time and read, and see what else is out there? besides what the media tells you

  • Thank you for posting this. People need to see it.

  • poor horsies

  • keep it up Australia...down with the cops..fascism is what it is!

  • Hey POLICE !!!! Once you are done fucking over the people, your bosses are going to fuck you over too. The powers that be don't give a fuck about me, and they don't give a fuck about you either.

Stop being a tool for oppression.

  • get the punching piglets badge fucken number..not just his mug shot..

the whole world see you you pig. nice sneaky over the top haybailer , you gutless pig...

the whole world sees you ...nice.

  • Não vamos recuar!

  • If rat cop hits me, he will cop it back...fact..eye for a eye....Fucken rat... Many people will only take so much and fight back. when that happens..A large percentage of people will turn on the cops like a storm..Then you will rethink your actions...Cops have lost the little respect they had..i think there is no turning back now..Damage is done. All it takes is a small little video to show the people of melbourne the truth about cops and the puppets that control them..

  • I'm sorry but I have to say this. The new word for nigger is civilian.

  • Waking up this morning and still can't believe what I witnessed there. Police were waaaay out of line.

  • @NotBadYeah lol

You sound just like someone who likes to give back to the society. *irony*

But your degree didn't help you understand what people all around the world are protesting against.

Maybe you should use your degree and actually read some of the signs the protesters have.

  • @DrVresig Trust me, I bet I know more about what these protests are about than half the clueless bastards down there trying to look sophisticated.

  • @NotBadYeah

    okay, lets talk about refugees?

from what i can gather, the two main issues occupy melbourne were to encourage govt to make a treaty with indigenous (saying SORRY, is NOT enough) and show more love and respect to refugee's from war torn countries - not treat them like criminals or animals. until you are either one of those, you will NEVER understand...

  • @NZtrillion We should be talking about sending aid to other countries not war. If people are so pissy about refugees, well, stop blowing up their houses.

Im not indigenous or a refugee, and I will never fully understand the true horrors of what they endure and have lived through, but being a human being I understand the needs and desires, I didnt choose for my ancestors to be barbaric rapist Fktards and I believe we should all work together and create acountry where everyone is equal and

  • @NZtrillion we are all respected as people. The point is, we need to work together. We need indigenous people and refugees at the protests too. We need everyones voice to be heard, not just the 1% and their wmessage of hate that has brainwashed the entire world.

  • @NZtrillion Refugees I can empathise with. The indigenous not so much. I have an aboriginal friend, we were brought up with the same lifestyles, same schools, yet he gets FREE accommodation in Melbourne just for attending uni, he gets large payments each fortnight from the government just for being a descendant of a descendant of a descendant of the the stolen generation. My question is, if we were brought up in such similar conditions, WHY should he get these bonuses when I'm left to work?

  • @NZtrillion If we want to be equals with the original owners of our land, why are we giving them benefits they didn't earn?

  • @NotBadYeah Because Nurses and Nanny's dont contribute to society.... fuck outta here

  • @NotBadYeah Obvious troll is obvious.

  • @NotBadYeah

My dear lad, I feel compelled to share something with you.I am a 49 year old married Canadian with 2 adult children. I currently live in northern Ontario working as a town fleet supervisor with a$68,000 a year salary while my wife is a social worker making $75,000. We live almost pay check to pay check. If you think just having a job gives you a great life you are sadly mistaken. How can you feel satisfied being a slave to societies elite. Wake Up!! Be aware. Something is wrong.

  • @NotBadYeah So how come I can work the EXACT same job as a man. And he'll get paid more.

  • @xboobookittifkxx What job? I find this hard to believe but if you can prove it I totally withdraw what I said.

  • @NotBadYeah Lets see you view on nurses when youre in hospital after a workplace accident because you boss decided to cut corners on safety.

  • @Halliwell0rain Yeah look I'll admit I was a bit drunk when I wrote that. The nurse part was a really stupid thing to say.

  • @NotBadYeah Wow, actually Im really quite pleasently surprised, that was, a very mature cleanup m8. Nicely done

  • @NotBadYeah They might be pretentious dick head indie wankers but they are the only ones passionate enough to speak out about the biggest problem facing the global economy at the moment. Don't take it personally, they are speaking for all of us, wealth is to concentrated. Do some reading instead of saying get a job because I have one.

  • @NotBadYeah Yeah. Except most engineers can't find a job as it stands. And most of those people who now can't find a job were sold the same pie in the sky bullshit you're spouting now about your job.

Most of these people are protesting because they CAN'T find work, you stupid motherfuck, so angrily yelling at them 'Can't find a job!? Go get a job!1!" just lets us know what a stupid mouthbreathing fucking twat you are.

Stop posting until you can rub two brain cells together fuckwit.

  • @NotBadYeah

Are you seriously that stupid? I think you're not really fit to be an engineer with your level on inanity.

Nurses don't give to society? Really? They don't help heal people, get them better, therefore getting them productive as members of society quicker? As an engineer, how do you see your future career being more good foor society? Building high rises for corporations? Or what? Stupid hate-flled idiot, go find out what you're really mad at.

  • @Ansatsunin Sorry, I was drunk when I wrote that, I was an idiot to say that shit about nurses. If you don't think engineers don't give to society you are dense and I am not even going to bother arguing with you.

  • @NotBadYeah you pretentious nerd retard.

  • @slicydicer Yeah good oxymoron there buddy, you really shown who's the thick one here.

  • @NotBadYeah Grow up kid. There is a broad church of views held by those protesters. Mostly they are protesting greed rather than capitalism per-se. I earn a VERY good wage but I agree with the protests. Then again, my views aren't based on conservative stereotypes.

  • Please tell me who this fucking police officer is because i will personally... Shake his hand. Fuck these idiotic demonstrators in other countries they would of lover the tear gas and batons creaking their skulls :)

  • Aussie cops would fucking shit their pants if they ever had to attend a real riot. Too fucking easy to beat up peace activists and pacifists. Piss weak cunts.

Heyy riot cop, where's the riot?

  • @roguequokka you're one very misguided individual pal...

  • BULLSHIT... its not a peaceful protest when you get 1 fag like this trying to cause trouble with police... he was not interested in Occupy only getting himself on YOUTUBE...

  • this what cops do at the orders of our government. Our right to protest is being taken away folks. it is time to wake up. at the g20 in toronto police punched, kicked, maced, trampled with horses, pulled off prosthetic legs and pulled individuals into unmarked vans. people were held for up to 40 hrs without food, and water and were not allowed to call a lawyer.

  • @uncaringtulip

    where are you bananas?

  • thanks for the video soldier. good to see your onto it iv known about u for ages!

  • I was looking through photos of this protest, and saw multiple people with iphones.

That was the point I decided these people need to stop blocking the busiest street in Melbourne and causing unnecessary harm, and learn to spend the money they bludge off centrelink better.

  • Ok we got his picture anyboy get his name.

  • How can these people claim to be "the 99%" when there are only a couple of hundred of them?

  • @Chiows How can anyone claim to be the "Tea Party" when they don't have tea parties?

  • the guy deserved to get hit, he was pushing the crowd forward, not a fucking life damaging hit... sometimes i wonder if people are protesting because they want to be part of a movement, seriously, there's not a lot wrong with australia...

  • @buey18

Not yet there isn't. We are well off, but we still are all suffering the same oppression and financial-slavery the rest of the world is. We are having to swallow a brand new TAX for bogus reasons. No voting, no democracy. We are still victims of the legal theft, purpotrated on us by BANKS, with their fraudulent Fractional Reserve Lending Model. Legalised theft.

  • @Vendettagainst life sucks hey? pay a bit more for your power bill, get screwed over by banks? you are not the 99%, the 99% lives in africa, asia and south america, and if you would speak to them about 'oppression and financial slavery' then i think you'd find yourself sitting pretty. everything you complain about is trivial - the 'violent' cop, 'oppression', 'no democracy', 'victims of legal theft'... the real 99% has real problems with these matters - you, do not.

  • @buey18

only that you live on stolen land where a treaty with the original owners was never made...

  • @NZtrillion that is not in my hands... i was born here, that cannot be changed, neither can the circumstances in which whites came to australia.... you are from new zealand, and i assume you are white - nz was taken over in much the same way as aus...

  • @buey18

only issue with your argument, is early on in NZ white people and maori made a real effort to get along, become friends and work together... your ancestors just killed your native people and you have made very little effort to make it better.

  • @NZtrillion I know you think your helping but you're not. It's all well and good to slap summaries on history and judge entire countries on slices of history but actually addressing the scars of Australian history is much more complicated than youtube rhetoric. Instead of being a condescending cunt, why don't you do something constructive? Why don't you come over and stand with out indigenous bothers? I'm guessing because trolling from your ivory tower is shitload easier. Anyway enjoy yourself.

  • @roguequokka

funny that... that's what i'm doing, see you on the front line, i'll be on their side :)

  • @NZtrillion Good. Glad to hear it. Might wanna check your rhetoric before you get here. You might be rudely surprised by the slap-down you get from "both" "sides".

  • @buey18 Just youth underemployment equivalent to 38% per head for starters billy blog "The scourge of youth unemployment" 16583 and ordinary wages underpaid by 20% billy blog "When will the workers wake up?" blog 13193

  • @WillOrng jesus dude use some fucking punctuation, i'm guessing you don't have a job, maybe it's because noone can understand you?

  • THIS 'POLICE OFFICER' SHOULD BE FIRED! WHAT KIND OF MANIAC HITS A PEACEFUL PROTESTOR IN THE FACE, THEN PUTS ANOTHER PEACEFUL PROTESTOR IN A HEADLOCK?

  • he deserved it

  • Get his name and address.....I want to send him a Halloween card...

  • @rolovolo

    or ten thousand pizzas

  • They even display the illuminati black and white squares on their caps, like in England, it shows who they work for,

why the people keeps paying their wages?

  • @rolovolo

Because we have no choice. Tax is taken out automatically from our pay. That is not right.

I worked 50 hours last week....paid $400 in Tax, so the Gov can spend most of it paying back Interest to the RBA, for loans it took without OUR consent. Slavery, basically.

  • What is the glob inbound towards the police just as the police lash out at the guys that has his head raised in an arc at the police, what is the blob moving from left to right watch it on slow mo

  • If you watch it carefully, the police are pulling people off the ground, so they dont get trampled - the guy that got punched was pushing the guy in between himself and the police officer- using the guy in the middle as a human shield. It's clear. People are too fast to condemn the police. And its true, next time trouble happens near you, don't call the police. I went to the protest, ineffective - should spend more time developing ways the next generation dont end up in a world like ours.

  • Now Screening- "UNEMPLOYABLE ZOMBIES WHO DON'T KNOW WHAT THEIR PROTESTING ABOUT" .....Starring: Load Mouth Bogan. Co-Stars: Cop Who's had enough shit. Produced by: Capitolist Enterprises. Directed by: Robert Doyle. Plot: Story about a crazy mixed up kid who gets on the wrong side of the law after getting mixed up with some bad company and being led astray.

  • @ptripidakis One problem. This is real and one day you may have something you feel strongly enough about aside from television that sees you protesting. Doubtful though, you're quite happy going obliviously down the drain, yeah? lol

  • @xPEACHxEATERx. I don't have time to watch tv or protest. Unlike these wankers, I work for a living so I can pay taxes that go to these clowns who probably don't work and most probably are the ones who watch TV all day long, but then again who would employ these duds? They'd be the first ones to whinge if something didn't go their way in the workplace, or if the temperature wasn't just right. As for "going down the drain", it looks as if these clowns are already there!!

  • Big Brother is watching us.

    Anonymous is watching them.

    Peace and love, Melbourne.

  • Wonder why he targeted a dude three rows back? My gut feeling is there was more to this than meets the eye. I don't condone violence, but it looked like the cop was retaliating to something. Also given we have the most stable economy in the world, plenty of work, lots of cash about, no-one going hungry, I have to wonder what it is they are protesting about so aggressively. I know the worlds banks need changing, but screaming about it wont help. Our pollies stopped our banks from doing it here.

  • @Loader2k

lots of cash from mining stolen land huh?

  • @NZtrillion Well yeah. In a nutshell. Look I know a lot has to change. And I support what the protesters are doing / saying. But I honestly believe that violence is not the answer. And I know Occupy did not instigate violence at all. But ultimately the problem is with NWO banks etc, and Australia has done a pretty good job of ducking and weaving their blows, so to speak. They are trying to destroy the worlds economies and have not been able to do that here. That's a good thing isn't it?

  • @Loader2k 12% underemployment and 38% youth underemployment isn't plenty of work, that's a job famine.

  • @WillOrng Frankly, most of the unemployed youth in this country are un-employable. I have run a small building company for the last 25 years here in Melbourne, and most of the young guys, if they turn up, simply will not do a days work for a days pay. I am not a charity, and cannot afford to make a loss for their benefit. It's a fact of life that a business must make 'X' amount per man or go under. I didn't make the rules i just live by them. No-one owes me a job, and i owe no-one a job. End off

  • As bad as it is that a cop is hitting a protester, his mouth is pretty active and the cop did single him out. If I had been copping abuse all day, I would've lashed out eventually (probably why I am not a cop).

  • they got told to move, they didn't, that's what happens

  • @ippyisgod I don't know whose side you're on but the government makes the rules. You have your say in the election, after that, get over it for fuck's sake. Everyone who protests this is a pretentious wanker that doesn't know anything about the movement.

  • @NotBadYeah Actually we only choose the mouthpiece, we have no say in any of the really important legislation that affects us. The people that run our country are not the government, they are just a front.

  • @NotBadYeah as if you can't tell what side i am on

  • I dare say its you that likes licking arseholes

  • The only thing wrong with that punch was it didn't knock that idiot out. Harder next time please.

  • Kid patting the horse at 1:50 :)

  • Looks like reasonable force to me

  • Because cops are cunts

  • You can see somthing untoward happening the copper lifts a few protestors up and pushes them back not very hard at all and pushes a few more protestors back not very hard again the guy that get hit lifts his head up faces the cooper whos not even looking at him focuses on him and then hits out dodging several heads to get this one guy WHY

  • Its possible that the police officer was spat on several times and the video didnt pick it up and because he was spat on from an individual in the second row of protestors that the only way to stop the attack was to lash out at the offender as best one can over the heads of the first rank of protestors

  • @gollstar it's also possible I'm your father, seeing as how I spent a fair bit time rooting your mum

  • @whowantstohottub My mother wouldnt root someone who only baths when the riot squad get out the fire hose

  • @gollstar oh I got out my fire hose all right. Shame you take after her though, she loved licking arseholes too.

  • WE HAVE HIS NUMBER!!! USELESS STORM TROOPER!!!

  • That could be about the best thing that has ever happened to the bum because no doubt he will be taking the view of Compo opportunity.

  • @L0rdTh3d

try giving your land back to the original owners, or make a treaty with each and every tribe you stole land off...

  • @NZtrillion Mate we already said sorry to the generation that wasn't stolen from the generation that didn't commit any crime. It's about time you get off the white Australian's back and moved on to more modern issues.

  • @L0rdTh3d You think that’s the hippies that take the taxes....?!

In one year how much can one hippie "steel" in taxes?

In one year how much can one bankster "steel" in taxes?

  • @DrVresig

In one comment how much of an idiot can you make yourself look?

  • @ergeben I guess it depends on who's reading the comment.

  • Fucking Cunts

  • told to move on. why spill your protest onto the street and stop traffic? its starting to become a nusience now in a public place.. and its beyond a joke.. go home

  • @nyreedewis

    are you australian?

  • @nyreedewis Because they were witnessing their friends getting beaten up in City Square and wanted to decrease the number of police inside. (And reduce the injury risk to their friends.) The cops were getting out of hand inside, I was watching, using four or five men in riot gear for one person and if the person fell or tripped or got injured (as was what was frequently happening because there were so many cops around them) they were physically dragged by their arm, leg or neck.

    Ask questions.

  • F&*($n ass holes!

  • It's a tactic (unlawful but - obviously - approved) to stir people up so they'll react violently and justify the use of riot police, be more easily misrepresented and discredited. Clearly authorities are worried some of these crazy ideas might catch on...

  • @tubercula

Very worried, hence all these right wing posts here - intended to stifle any real debate. Each 'OM' supportive comment on this forum is immediately pounced upon by hard-edged, mean-spirited individuals without any real contribution to make to the global issues raised by the OM movement. Are these really ignorant individuals' comments or the authorities' attempts to instil fear in the dissenting masses. we'll never know i guess!

  • GET A JOB OMAR

  • Google Victorian protest law and click the second link.

Read it and learn what is permitted in a protest. Laws were broken. If the police choose to break up a protest, then if the protesters are refusing to listen or abide, they are breaking the law and police have every right to remove people by force. This clip is censored and manipulated thus not worthy evidence for either defence.

  • @Gordo1989

explain how this clip is censored?

explain how this clip is manipulated? it is slowed down and enlarged.

i'm sure the original version is available if the courts need more evidence than this!

  • @colliderscopic How is it not censored.... there is a friggn image posted over the shot right after it is slowed down. You have to be kidding if you dont think that is manipulated and censored. Until some original is posted showing the full story, this is a waste of time.

  • I think the correct way to express approval of the cop's actions is to hit the "dislike" button, no?

  • @Zevran9001

no - because i'm pretty sure the dislikes get logged and would be taken into consideration if youtube decided to delete this video... you are 'liking' the fact it was caught on camera and we have the freedom to share it in this manner - self-media styles.

  • @NZtrillion Yes, I like our freedom to post stuff like this up on YouTube. I dislike these occupy melbourne idiots that want a bloody communist revolution because they want everybody else to support them.

  • @NZtrillion you should take it down yourself. But then i guess it's not your fault you cant see it for what it is. Still curious, were you born stupid or did you practice??

  • I remember wanting to be a cop as a kid...

  • ACAB! ALL COPS ARE BASTARDS!!!

  • These cops should have their numbers recorded and copies of the footage sent to their superiors, the media and the ombudsman or even used as evidence in a civil action.

  • Blocking up streets, preventing the running of business', performing a public nuisance, committing affray, that wasn't peaceful, that was aggravated. Protesters need to learn common decency before they protest something. Get off the streets.
