I would just like to mention, all the people who say that Disney movies aren't as good as they used to be. That may very well be the case. However, consider that when these 'old' Disney movies were released, the adults were saying, these are crap, not like they used to be. Please consider that it might just be, you have grown up, and these films / songs are nostalgic. Kids will say that films released in 2012 were the best one's in 15 years time :).

That's where I feel the classics seem to have made too much of a good impression.

Personally I'm anti-nostalgic. While I feel that the classics are good and should be respected, I don't feel that they're immediately better than everything else.

And this is definitely true for Disney and their latest movie projects; I HATE it when people don't like something like Princess and the Frog or Tangled simply because it's not as good as anything from the Disney Renaissance.
