@Robbichaux Well no one NEEDS one. Just like no one NEEDS a Playstation, Wii, xBox... it's just a lot of fun!!! Another example... out of the hundreds of millions of smart phones sold, honestly who REALLY needs one? Not many, it's just cool!
@Robbichaux Well it doesn't follow you unless you control it to follow you. You can check out a recent post here for the real applications: blog.gearbox.me
@NAMLegolas Probably around 20. On paper it could be more but you may run into lag issues. It would definitely be an interesting experiment! Since each ball has lights inside (not this particular prototype) we were thinking an artist could do some interesting things with them.
OH You're the same as Sphero!? I saw their video and came straight here looking for answers...

whats the point of using it?
Drymedell 1 year ago
This is the most boring and stupid "toy" I've ever seen. Just because you CAN do it doesn't mean you should.

@mhaidarhanif How so?
gearboxme 1 year ago
@gearboxme redesign it. so people could recognize what's the product by its logo.
mhaidarhanif 1 year ago
@gearboxme Your logo is wayyyyy too complicated - too much happening in it. Simplify it up and give it more of an impact!
salmansqadeer 1 year ago
@salmansqadeer I think its great :) Too much happening? Just a gear for the "G" and a box for the "O" in Box. Clever if you ask me.
Brakeman94 1 year ago
@gearboxme I agree, teh G looks terrible. Perhaps make the E a gear instead. Not trying to be negative just trying to give constructive criticism.
