I know that some of the photos on this video may need some explaination.... for those interested at any rate. A bit more then halfway through the video, you will see a small house with Christmas decorations. That is the home I first lived in, and the home my Dad grew up in on Carlton Ave. in Ametyville NY. The very next photo after that, is the school in which my grandfather worked as a custodian, and my father, aunt and uncle, graduated from... Amityville High School.
Thanks Man. You know I just realized that my Brother and I aren't in any of those photos lol.. I think my cousin Liz is the only one of any of the grandchildren.... and that was taken in the 70's.
Thanks, I know my Grandfather would have liked it, but I think my grandmother would have found a way to make fun of the fact that she wasn't Irish but all Scot, and damn proud of it too!
Thank you so much. Just a tribute to my Grandparents. I will make one for my mom's side when I have get those uploaded on my computer. My dad's parents both grew up in Scotland. My Grandfather in a mostly Irish community near Glasgow, and my Grandmother in Alva. Both communities are pictured at the start of the video.

Most Irish emigrants to Scotland came from Donegal, In fact I would go as far as to say that 90%, or more, of Donegal people have Scots relatives!
