most league 2 to premier league goalkeepers can hit the opponent's penalty box off the floor easily. The reason why goalkeepers look like they're hitting the ball half arsed is because they are indeed holding back. No use putting the ball over your teammate's heads into a easy header back to the goalkeeper by putting 100% into the kick. I've even trained with an ex league 2 goalkeeper who could clear the opponent's goal off the floor...
