how can you overclock im getting a core i7-2720 laptop with a nvidia GTX560M with 8GB of ram its custom build and i don't know how to overclock and i really want to play mw2 and brink with that laptop if there's anyway to overclock it please help !

@qwrfg You can play those on Ultra without overclocking. You won't need to overclock until 3 years or so.

Very nice video!!! But for the games just for future reference run a program called FRAPS. Its a frames per second counter that will run in tje top corner. Gamers like to see that :) also. Always turn v sync off. V sync caps ur fps at 60frams per second :)

i checked many reviews on the laptopt i ordered before i bought it, and they manage to squeeze 117 minutes of gaming on it 50% brightness without the under clocking. but yea, plugging in the laptop to power seems like a must when gaming.

Also, how do you think the game will run with GTA IV?

i'm absolutely positive that the laptop can run far cry 2 and borderlands on max with around 50+ fps though

be careful the "power saver " modes will under clock your CPU and if you run your laptop with the battery alone, the GPU performs 3 times less, lol, the 3DMark 03 goes from 36,000 to 10,000 when using the battery alone. but dont worry the battery only lasts about an hour or so if your gaming, if that.

I am planning to use it for real when it is over clocked in a few years when the computer becomes a little out dated, but now, it can run anything. its Awesome!!!! (i used "CPUID" for the temperatures and "CUPZ" to find out the specs of the CPU and GPU, both free)

Congratulations it's a very computer, Ntune acts a little weird sometime, and the blue screen of death comes out a lot,(I don't recommend using Ntune) to tell you the truth i just over clocked it just to see what it can do, but for all the games I have you don't need to over clock at all, like modern warfare 1 & 2, Bio shock 2, dead space 2, team fortress 2, need for speed shift 2, Crysis 2 (on advanced, one below the highest), all work perfectly without over clocking.
