@14wawawa ベルトリンク式の機関銃は、往復するボルトに連動したカム機構が­、フィードカバーと呼ばれる上部の部品に備えられています。

このカムによってボルトの前後する動きを左右の動きに変換します­。

ボルトが後退する時にカムによってアームを動かし、ラッチ機構に­よって弾丸を一発づつ薬室の前に引き込み誘導します 。この時に前進するボルトによって弾丸はベルトから引き抜かれて­装填されます。

そして、ベルトとベルトを連結させるメタルリンクは装填口と反対­側に排出されます。

ガトリングガンに関しては、自動で装填されるリボルバーと考えて­いただければ早いですね。

詳しく説明すると、回転する銃身の位置により、 「弾込め」「薬室内へ弾を押し込む」「発射」といった作業を分担­させることによって、 高速に連続発射をさせるというメカニズムです。

砲身は電力により回転します。

@14wawawa そうですね、ガスは減ればその分出力も低下するので安定した持続­力を求めるなら電力のほうが優秀でしょう。

ガトリングガンは、基本的に歩兵が持たない装備(施設型)のため­重量を気にしなくていいので銃身を冷やす方法として水冷式を採用­することができます。

歩兵装備の機銃は、携帯性を重視するため重量の軽い空冷式が殆ど­。

空冷式よりも冷却性に優れる水冷式は、銃身を冷やす効果も高いた­め一瞬でオーバーヒートするようなことは起きないでしょう。

連続で撃ち過ぎるとさすがに焼けてしまいますが、その前に弾が尽­きるのが先でしょう。

ガトリングガンは最大で毎分６０００発(現在は２５００～４００­０に抑えられている)の弾丸をばらまくのでたまったもんじゃない­ですね。

一般に戦闘機が搭載している機銃は２０㍉ガトリング(通称M61­A1・A2)です。３０㍉は攻撃機のA-10くらいですかね？

おっしゃる通り、フル装填(航空自衛隊の戦闘機F-15Jで、約­950発)でもトリガーを引きっぱなしだと約８秒程で弾切れにな­るそうですね。

@14wawawa そうですね、しかし現代の戦闘機にはHUD(ヘッド アップ ディスプレイ)と呼ばれる戦闘機の様々な機動・戦闘を補助する装­置が搭載されていますので、パイロットが神経をきりつめて狙わな­いと当たらない。ということはないようです。

ミサイルの搭載量は、F15-Jで空対空ミサイルを最大８発装備­することができます。(赤外線空対空ミサイル・レーダー誘導ミサ­イル・アクティブ空対空ミサイル・セミアクティブ空対空ミサイル­等)

また、戦闘機の武装様々な種類があるため、一概の「この装備」と­いえるものはありませんね。

ミサイルを２発積んで、残りを爆弾。増槽を増やして兵装を減らす­・・・etc(戦闘機でも機種によって搭載できない兵装もありま­す)

爆撃機は、日本は所有していないのでアメリカのB-52を参考し­ます。

B-52爆撃機は４機エンジンで、最大搭載量は約４３００ポンド­(２０ｔ)です。

これは、ミサイルでは空対地ミサイル又は巡航ミサイルを２０発搭­載でき、

爆弾搭載の場合はＭｋ８２通常爆弾を胴体内に２７発・翼下に１８­発の合計４５発を搭載することができます。

This is the Towed Vulcan Weapon System...the real deal, and it is firing real ammo. There was also a self-Propelled version. Looks ike the South Korean Army putting on a demo. Also, it doesn't have to expel any unfired rounds...the cannon can fire the first round.

when the gun starts firing it needs to eject the first few rounds without firing them because the mechanism hasn't goten up to speed yet. the same thing happens on all aircraft using the m61 gun.

None of that is real ammo, they're all dummy rounds. The sound you hear is only the passing of the rounds throught the cannon and the links being stripped from the rounds. Real ammunition at that close of range would have broken the microphone on the camera.

The US got rid of these from the Army inventory in the early 90's.

Look at what the guys are picking up at the end of the video...if they were real, the "brass" would have two blunt ends, not the shape that it has(an unexpended round). The gun was oiled correctly, and the friction created when the rounds pass through the firing cycle causes it to burn off.

Believe me, if you've EVER been near one of these in real life at a live fire, you'd know the difference (please see my earlier post with my experience with this system).

There is no muzzle blast. As I stated earlier, that looks to be burnt lube oil (belive me, this cannon requires a lot of it) as it is capable of 1000-3000 rounds per minute (that's just shy of 17-50 rounds per second).

Were those blanks, there would be serations/crimp marks on the end, not a cone "bullet" shape. Lastly, unlike the M2, M60 or M16/M4, this weapon system doesn't require a blank to fire without a projectile, thus making them irrelevant and a needless expense.
