I think Chuck told a story about an all styles type training and sparring held in Texas once and some hard core Texas cat jumped out and cold cocked her before Chuck stepped out, he said everybody was pissed but Linda composed herself got up and beat the living crap out of this guy. He said she caught him side kicks at will and he thinks the guy suffered some busted ribs.

had the pleasure of knowing Linda back in the mid 80s when the first real corporate sponsored superstar karate team came into existence. after the Budweiser team folded, the Atlantic team coached by Chuck Merriman was formed. team included greats like Steve Anderson, Billy Blanks, Kevin Thompson, Christine Bannon, Nicole Quist, Chip Wright, Jean Freanette (sp), Anthony Price, Tony Young, Richard Plowden and a few other greats.
