if you don't mind me asking, why are you in japan? i was just curious because i am going to be an exchange student there and i want to know about other peoples experiences(hence the blog watching ^^)
I don't mind at all! When I was 6 my family moved to Okinawa as a station my dad was assigned (Air Force) we live there for 4 years. I loved it, but was so young that I didn't appreciate the experience. At that age, I just saw it as another place I was made to live as a result of my dad's job (same with the other 5 place I lived in my childhood). When I grew up I looked back on the experience and realized how amazing it was and wanted to return to appreciate it more. That is my reason! ^_^
Awesome thanks for the advice! When i cooked them I didn't do that and they didn't really get brown. They were cooked and all, but not as good as others I've had. Shrug!
Those are gyoza wrappers :) When you put them in the skillet you should also add about a half inch of water to help them cook all the way through. After the water evaporates the bottoms will become nice and brown.
What you gotta worry about sushi/sashimi is parasites. Parasites are so nasty. They make holes in your body. Yuck!

@mostawesomestjes I don't mean to be disrespectful or anything but you look like moon geun young, a korean actress, except that you're not korean..

The sauce you bought (3:33) is a ginger-flavoured one and should go better with a pork steak than bacon:) but, of course, whatever you like!
