You are teasing him constantly with the whip on his butt, and he expects another "teaser".

Never use a whip there, one day you will get a full answer....

Always use it near the saddle.

Your series of videos on this subject is not making me a fan of carriages. I feel safer on a horse than behind it. :-)

I felt the same way a few years ago, but have gradually gotten used to driving our own horses until now I feel possibly safer behind them than astride!
